If I was thirty years younger I'd be stealing him!! I love scotch bonnet chillis with loads of garlic, ginger and five spice powder. Makes a great base fir a stir fry My man hates spicy food so I have to cook him something plain when I do spicy, which is most days!! What a hassle.
 
You can swap with me if you like Molly! John LOVES spicy stuff .. he makes the most of times like this when I'm not there to make himself or go out for some coz I can't stand it. xx

The way that just trips off your tongue (or equivalent internet expression ;)) now "9 mile run" ... LOL! Imagine what you'd have thought about that 12-18 months ago??!!

haha Jan i thought that whilst running today. I was around the 7.5mile mark and thought omg when i get home i would have just ran 9miles :eek: :eek: This time last year I hadnt even started running and now i'm just 4.2miles off of the 1/2mara mileage!

Good pace again today. Took me 1hr44m35s and burnt 1,268calories. Seriously going to have to change my menu today after burning all that it leaves me a massive calorie deficit. I actually got back from my run and my belly was rumbling it was hungry!

Might have a couple of fruit tea cakes for dinner and take the melon to work?

Edit: forgot to say there were 4 short steep hills today in my run, i know there is a slow gradual hill on the race so i think its about time i started including the blasted things!!! :giggle:

You are certainly our little star Tanya - WTG girl, you are doing brilliantly and great time.

OMG, what a position to be in, -30 calorie deficit........I am sure you could share that around........hehe.

Not negative no more i've had some cheese with my pork chops and they weighed 25g extra than what i guessed at.

being negative calories is a bloomin first! Felt good at the time!! :rotflmao:
 
Sweetie, I have my money on you to go on and do a full marathon. You have found a form of exercise you love and are good at it too. You will stick with this and it will keep you looking fab. Well done on your 9 miler today!
 
Just a quick edit for today had some paprika soya&pot snacks with a mini houmous pot with a nectarine for dinner. Will have melon for work. Net cals for today are 421.
 
Tanya, you've cracked it! If you can do 9 milers then you would already be able to do the half marathon if you pushed yourself cos you've already built up the stamina.....when I ran there wasn't any info out there on how to train and all I did for the first half was 5 x 6miles and 1 x 9miles every week....no hills either cos I always ran the same route along the seafront.

You must be so incredibly chuffed with what you've achieved! My money's on you to do a full marathon at some point too, if you can find the time to do the training that is!

Got to agree with Jan here Tanya, you are doing absolutely brilliantly! Like she said, imagine being told 18 months ago that you will be running 9 miles! 9 miles!! Brilliant, nothing else for it. Keep up the great work, you really are a star!
 
Ahh thanks ladies :)

It really took it out of me yesterday though, come 4am my eyes were beginning to droop as I was trying to type!! :giggle: Not sure if that was because of the 9mile run or the calorie deficit?!! Either way it made me have a lovely sleep.
