♥ ~ Tanya's Maintainence Diary ~ Year 2 ~♥

Fried eggs are the easiest thing in the world, ljust make sure your fat is not too hot, and then you didnt even need to turn it if you cant, but I like it cooked on both sides, just spoon the hot oil over the yolk.......but dont you English have it sunny side up?..........yuck, I hate that, I like it turned lol

Sunny side up?lol
My mum has always either flipped them or splashed the fat over the top of them!

Flapjacks didn't turn out right again but still taste nice. Bloody things! Here's a pic - tiny corner piece I had :p

Wow!! Aww thanks Mary!! :) xx

 Just munched another bit of flapjack & a jacobs cracker with chicken liver pate.

These past 2 days ive been sooo hungry even though i think ive eaten pretty well.

Not sure whether to take my meal bar with me tonight - i know im guna be hungry but food wise feel like ive eaten a fair bit already.

Of course you must take it - you can't go all night with nothing and you could end up raiding the 'nawty' machines if you're not prepared!! xx

Ok I will do ... but i wish they were less calories to compensate for the flapjack & cracker. I'd like to take an alpen light or something but ive ran out!!!!!! :( Must remember to buy some on monday! x

I've got some you can have :giggle: ;) xx

Glad your flapjacks turned out ok. As for the snacking don't worry so much hun just as long as it doesn't turn into a massive binge and as Mary said there could be worse things to be having! x

Your flapjacks looked great to me too. I bet they taste nicer than the choc orange bar I'm having for lunch. Can't complain too much though, so much better than the LT ones!!

The flapjacks were a winner with my mum, me and bf - i made them with 1/2 golden syrup, 1/2 black treacle & dark brown sugar!! Odd combination but it worked ;)

Took my measurements today will post 1st weeks, 2nd weeks and then todays:

Bust: 35.5"...36"...36"
Waist: 36"...36"...36"
Hips: 44"...43"...42.5"
Thigh: 23.5"...23.5"...23"
Calf: 17"...17"...16.5"

So, can see i've managed to lose inches on my hips :)party0049: I thought too I was looking better around that area!!) thighs and calf :)

Read an article last night about how runners wanting to lose weight should concentrate on measurements instead of pure numbers on the scales. It made alot of sense even though you guys have told me and I know myself that the numbers on the scale arent the be all and end all right now. Im happy to lose inches right now instead of lbs as it just means my fat is turning into muscle :)

I've decided once the 1/2 marathon i'll have 4weeks untill my holiday so i'm going to go onto 2 meal replacements and 1 meal for a couple of weeks maybe 3 to see what I can lose but got to have the meal as i'll still be keeping up with my running.

Thursday 7th April

B- 2 poached eggs 1slice medium wm bread. Butter.

L- ham pasta salad with elf mayo. 2 cream crackers with chicken liver pate. slice of cheese.

D- banana

S- flapjack

Great stuff hun. So very true. Glad your keeping track of your measurements. Since I have been exercising more i haven't really lost weight but my flabby tum is starting to go :)

Well done on the inch loss Tanya!!!! I'm glad you see it as just as important as the pounds dropping. Overall your food is always pretty good, the odd blowout or party aside. This together with your regular running means are are very very fit and healthy. Correct wrong I'm wrong but hasnt your weight stabilised for the last while as in it's staying in a certain range. Therefore, what the scales says is not so important IMHO.
Whilst it's nice to see them go down, your overall health is more important.
You're doing great.

Well done on the inch loss chick :) Might be something in this whole exercise malarky!!! I'd be happy staying at 10st something if I was firmer lol

Yep - well done on the inch loss and for realising that proves you're doing something - never mind those pesky scales!

Sounds like a good & sensible plan you've got for after the 1/2marathon too. Going good girl ;) :D xx

Yep, been around this weight now for over a year. Just cant seem to get down to where I was when I finished LT. Pain in the butt  lol

Bloody brilliant shift tonight. However, food not so brilliant as I forgot to take my banana so when I got home I was sooo hungry I scoffed 2 cream crackers with pate, a slice of cheese aaaaaaaaaand my ham pasta salad!! lol

Will just take the banana to work now.

Oh and i'm going to have a flapjack in a minute :p

Oh, also forgot!!! I am running 5.64miles tomorrow which included the toughest part of the 1/2 marathon course which involves hills and apparantly the worst hill of the course. I'll be running miles 4,5,6,7,8&9 of the actual 1/2 mara course. Wish me luck!! LOL
