⚜ Strawberry Madness progress diary ⚜

Was raining all morning thought I wouldn’t be able to get it out. Luckily it warmed up so went to Morrison’s.
I made an omelette and. Turned out to be raw in the middle and it oozed underneath the salad lol.
So I binned it D:

Weather was lovely all day so went for a wander in the woods for a bit, lots of changed since they carved a walking paths into the forest so now it feels a lot less spacious and so many people there.
It was always empty before last time I remember

Have you tried having the same amount but cutting it into smaller multiple meals?

I think because I only have 2 meals I feel I need to pile my plate high.. So I will start having 3 meals but cut my portion sizes back. I don't eat until 12 pm and then tea between 5 and 6. I will have smaller lunch and have something at 3.

Like all you had was scrambled egg yet if I had that I would have to add salad or I don't feel I have had a meal.:rolleyes:

I know what you mean, a while ago I tried doing like 8 small meals a day to see if it would make my metabolism work harder. And make me feel more satisfied throughout the day.

not sure if it worked or not can’t really remember. But I know it was a pain in the butt keeping track of everything.

I mean you could have salad with everything if you wanted hardly anything calories in a few cherry toms and leaf mix etc. 🤩
 
Salad with something to the eye makes it look like your having a meal.:D It would be so much easier if I didn't have to cook for OH.

Another sunny day today. Been for my 6 am walk, Cleaning house then out on bike.:)

Decided to try make some pickled eggs today with a twist, Using fresh beetroot in the pickle liquid to turn them purple :D
Should hopefully be nice in at least 4 days we shall see 🤪

Weather again was pretty good wooohooo
Went for a little wander to the shops, Still no sushi rice or rice vinegar instock, so I really wanted sushi tommrow I managed to find some vegetable sushi wooo that’s why breakfast sorted 😸

Got a little impatient and decided to try out one of the eggs after 24 hours pickling.
The colour is definitely starting to soak into the whites, should be no white left in around 3 more days or so.

taste wise first hint of sweetness from the beetroot and dill, then the black pepper blends into the malt vinegar flavour.👌🏻

Went for a wee walk then to Tesco. Longest ques ever outside.
but managed to finally find some sushi rice, no rice vinegar though. But I will make do.
will try make some sushi Soon.
Have some painting to do around the house tomorrow so should keep me busy.
