⚜ Strawberry Madness progress diary ⚜

Haven’t had rhubarb since I was in primary school! Cooking it for the first time the smell brought back a lot of memory’s of my childhood.
Is it supposed to be a greenish colour or more red?
because mine turned out greenish lol.

It’s very often greenish. Very young rhubarb and forced rhubarb is often more pink. Whenever I stew it it looks greenish
 
Today’s been good got some goodies in the post.
Sushi nori, T-shirt and some whey protein.
been watching Spooks again all the day pretty much and been on the oculus for a bit working up sweat lol.
Tomorrow is going to be a fruit and protein day cause I need to eat it up before it goes bad.
might make some smoothies, not sure 🤔

I've had a bit of a lazy day. Went work for 2 hours. Popped to Asda to pick up my Click and collect food. Home and just been sat around.:rolleyes:

I use to eat pickled eggs with crisps. Looks like you have had another good food day.:)

weathers not been great so haven’t really went out for a walk but I need to go out tommrow to help my mum get her prescriptions hopefully it’s not going to be crappy again tommrow but it’s Scotland so...

Nothing wrong with a quiet day But it does get a little boring after a while 🤪
 
Weathers been lovely today started to look like it was going to rain, but I took my sunglasses with me and glad I did!
I got a mattress topper and finally doesn’t feel like my back is getting all mangled up 😆

I also made some pistachio butter for the first time today and wish I knew how easy it was lol just throw them in the food processor and done ha.
I added a little rose water to them and it’s giving me a Turkish vibe. smells amazing.

Today’s been good, hopefully the weather holds up tomorrow then I can go for a walk to the woods for a wee bit.

On a side note I forgot to take a picture of my shake because I was half asleep when I made it woops

We are suppose to be having a week of nice weather. Hope you get out for your walk tomorrow..:)

I love runner bean chutney. Luckily I'm the only one that does so get it all to myself. Not had an omelette for a while. Will have one during the week.:)
 
Weather was horrid this evening now it’s sunny after I had a bath go figure 🙄
Staying in today and just been chilling out. Hopefully it stays sunny again tomorrow so I can get out for a walk.

It was drizzling this morning at 6.am when I went out for my walk. Then it cleared up so went out for a 20 in bike ride 2 pm and it started raining.:(

I thought they said we were having a mini heat wave again.:)
 
I hope so as I have no work so want to go out for a long bike ride.:) I am lucky as I live where it is mostly flat and have cycle paths. It's 3 miles into town and most of it can be cycle path but with not much traffic on road I go along the road. Cycle paths are usually full of walkers now.:rolleyes:
