10st10lbs' Diary - been away for far too long!

Hope you are not feeling down about the STS because after all you can see for yourself in your measurements that you are losing! Well done on losing the inches :)

Good luck for tommorow x

Thank you for the luck, let's try again next week :) x

What about having some herbal or personally Green Lemon tea (and just add sweetner) is my favorite and it seems to keep my urge to go into temptations away.
Good Luck for WI :)

Will get some green tea in tomorrow to have during the week, I need to stop drinking coffee! x

Hey it's still good, hugs:)

Thanks Chris. I could do with a man-hug today, so thank you :) No one hugs as good as a man :( x

Hope you are not feeling down about the STS because after all you can see for yourself in your measurements that you are losing! Well done on losing the inches :)

I'm kind of annoyed, I worked really hard this week! :( I fell on my right knee in uni yesterday and again today (don't think there's any room for compensation though as my heels have eroded on my shoes and so they're probably classed as being too dangerous to wear and therefore unsuitable), same knee, exactly the same fall. Left leg went sliding forwards, did the splits, landed on right knee, but this time I had a fresh hot cup of coffee in my hand. The amazing thing is though, after I got it out of the machine, it had no lid on it, so I went down the slope which is where I fell yesterday, to get a lid from the canteen. I am SO glad I did, but still in a hell of a lot of pain. And today, my pedometer reads:

Total steps: 16570
Kcal burnt: 457.33
Distance: 7.854 miles

Thursday 21/10 - Extra Easy

STS.

- Coffee

12pm
- Sula (0.5 syn)
- Twirl (6 syns)

3pm
- Two egg omelette with salt, cumin, red chilli powder, coriander and onion
- Baked beans in tomato sauce

4pm
- Apple

6pm
- Tangerine

7pm
- Pasta with Dolmio/Ragu sauce (4 syns?), minced chicken (2 syns?), mixed peppers, carrot, sweetcorn and peas
- Cucumber sticks, green beans and lettuce
- EL mayo (1 syn)

8pm
- FF Raspberry Activia

9pm
- 350ml skimmed milk (HExA)
- 1 slice wholemeal toast (1/2 HExB) with LC Light (1 syn)

Total syns: 0.5 + 6 + 4 + 2 + 1 = 13.5 syns

Not the most brilliant of eating days. Not really got much of an idea of the syns in dinner but have estimated to the best of my ability. I think I will be trying Success Express again.

Friday 22/10 - Don't know yet!

9am
- 1 slice wholemeal toast (1/2 HExB1) with 1 LC Light triangle (1/5 HExA)

10am
- Diet Coke

2pm
- Tangerine

3pm
- Apple
- Diet Coke

4pm
- Activia FF Raspberry yoghurt

5pm
- 11 honey roasted cashews (1/2 HExB1 + 1.5 syn)

6pm
- 3 LC Light triangles (3/5 HExA1)

7pm
- Chapatti (3 syns) with potato, peas and carrot curry (2 syns)
- Mint, coriander, garlic, ginger, onion and tomato chutney
- Cucumber, lettuce, onion and green beans

9pm
- 1 slice wholemeal bread (1/2 HExB2) with 1 LC Light triangle (1/5 HExA)

10pm
- 350ml skimmed milk (HExA2)
- Kit Kat Caramel Senses (8 syns)

I have given that value to the cashews based on finding out that a 10 cashew serving is 87 calories, 1/2 HExB (10 cashews) is 3 syns which equals 60 calories, so 87 - 60 = 27, which divided by 20 gives 1.35, so rounded up to 1.5 :)

Didn't wear my pedometer today as I wasn't intending on walking much, I wanted to rest my knee, but did end up walking quite a bit. Got some uni supplies - finally! It's amazing how colourful pens make you want to work hard! Also got a free SD memory card out of Carphone Warehouse - yay :) and some strawberry yoghurt smoothie shampoo and conditioner which we got a while ago but couldn't find it again.

Total syns: 1.5 + 3 + 2 + 8 = 14.5 syns

Well i was about to say well done for breakfast and then saw the lack of food???

And what do you think now that you've seen my update? Forgot to do it last night and even now while writing it, more and more things were coming to mind that I'd eaten. Decided to give myself chocolate every day. Not Mikado though, unless it's in a huge amount. I'm going to use as many of my syns as possible.

Don't know how today will go at all, planning to go to the library for a good few hours, then shoe shopping - Mum suggested I buy 'those carpet/cardigan shoes that your sister has'... Uggs, Mum? Do you realise they are quite expensive? '£10 in Primark you know!'... x

I'm impressed with the end of the day :). What happened in the middle? :p. Its nice to see food in there though so well done.
I give myself chocolate every day too, its what works for me.
Although i plan to have harvester chips dinner time today LOL.
Keep up the good work and LOL at your mum about carpet slippers bless her!

changed my mind, ignore me today

Lack of food was while I was at uni! Didn't want to spend so picked up the apple, tangerine and yoghurt on my way out :) And was running to and from lectures, hospital, WHSmiths, etc! Thought I'd just concentrate getting from one place to the next rather than try and multitask with eating, don't want to fall again!

Debating which choc I will treat myself to today, might have to go wander around a sweetie shop later... or might just hover around the vending machines outside the library for a bit :p

Ooooh Harvester chips, hark at you! I think that's where I'm going wrong you know, maybe I should do more red days. The only thing stopping me is finding decent meat when I'm out and about, would love to tuck into a huge steak or something but it's just a hassle to find the right stuff! It rains jacket potatoes in Manchester! It rains in Manchester full stop, hah. Cold wet feet and jeans (that are falling down and so have to be held up with a belt!) :(

Almost done with my work at uni, just came on here for a quick fix and to get my diary started for the day :D xxx

changed my mind, ignore me today

But I'm interested now :( x

Saturday 23/10 - I dunno :(

- Activia FF Raspberry yoghurt
- 2 slices of wholemeal toast (HExB1) with 1 tsp Flora Light (1 syn) and egg

1pm
- Pear

2pm
- Apple

3pm
- Banana

And I'm done with my work! Well, organising all my work anyway, printing out all the missed lectures and tutorials and breaking them down into managable chunks :) Off back out into the rain, will mooch around town to look for shoes now :) I'm thinking about lunch.. Do I want it now or can I wait till I get home? x

Blahblahblah, I was kinda naughty the rest of the day - well not really but then I just came home and ate what was there and it wasn't too brill, then I had Mr Kipling's apple pie and a croissant and I didn't really care. And some honey roasted cashews, still didn't care. I figured an off-plan day won't kill me. Last time I had 3 off-plan days in a week, I lost 2.5lbs! So yeah... x

what's echo hun?

Well done on not beating yourself up about not being 100% :)... Mr Kipling do reaaaaalllllyyy nice tutti frutti pies but i havent found them again since i last bought them :( x

Oh, I went past Poundland and thought I'd pick up some water bottles, went in and came out with chocolate! Echo is a chocolate/biscuit bar that I have NEVER seen before, but is very sexy looking! £1 for a pack of 7, 126 calories so not bad! They are white chocolate and milk chocolate poured on top of a biscuit base - sound very mysterious but actually quite nice!

I think I just ate the apple pies because they were there! I really wanted another croissant but couldn't be assed opening the new pack and then finding an airtight container to store the rest in... hah, I'm so silly! xxx

Oh my God I love Echo bars!! I didn't realise they still did them! And only 6.5 syns?! Trip to Poundland might be necessary...!! x

I didn't know they were a big thing! Might have to stock up on some more ;) I thought there were 5 in the pack but then 7 came out! :D Glad I didn't get the pack of 9 Time Outs, psychologically if I were to eat a 4.5 syn choc everyday, I wouldn't feel fulfilled... Get your butt down to Poundland! :D x

YES! Have messaged you back :) Really looking forward to it and letting myself have a couple of extra treats after reading on your diary that you can burn upto 800 cals an hour! Ooooh Costco desserts are so yum, well done for dragging yourself away! See you in the morning iA :) xxx

Tuesday 26/10 - Extra Easy

9am
- 1 slice wholemeal toast with 1 LC light triangle (1/5 HExA)

9-10 was Zumba, woohoo! I had a wicked time and am really pumped to find another class at a suitable time now, felt a bit silly at first though but then the enjoyment factor just took over!

11pm
- Banana
- Quorn Turkey Slices

2pm
- Pasta with tuna and EL mayo (1 syn)
- Cucumber, lettuce and green bean salad
- Strawberries in Total 0% yoghurt with a 1/2 crumbled Echo (3 syns)

Total syns: 1 + 3 = 4 syns

Since then, I have been terrible. It all started with the salted peanuts on the table at a restaurant that I only went to to accompany my best friend until her SIL got there. I ate a lot of peanuts, even though I only counted 10 out into my palm as I knew they would be naughty. But I kept going, and then I couldn't stop. I think I had about 50, max, so that's 20 syns right there. Then came home and attacked the cheese box and had a croissant. There are still about 5 left in the container and I really want another one. I feel horrible but I have changed into my trackies ready to have a good long go on the treadmill, then a shower, and an early night so I can be at uni for 9 tomorrow, before hitting another Zumba class at 1:15! I have the bug now hahaha. But I ate LOTS of strawberries today, and speed soup, yay me :) x

It was great to meet you, although we didn't get to chat much. Glad you enjoyed the Zumba (for your first time you definately did it well). I'm thinking of going tomorrow night too, but we'll see.

Let's get together again soon for lunch or something :)
