16 week to lose 24lbs! My diary :)

Hey! NG how was weigh in Friday? Just got back from hols and inspired by you being comfortably in the 8's and plan on getting back in the 8's very soon!

You have done great and I agree you shouldn't listen to anyone about stopping until you reach your goal. They are not used to the slimmer you and it will not show too much losing the remainder and it will also give you a buffer zone to maintain if you gain a little.

How was your holiday?
Weighed in at 8.9 so feeling happy with my weight at the moment and aw thanks at least you can get back into it now yours hol is over

Yeh exactly I will know myself when to stop and as you say not that much left to go so it wont be a huge difference from how I am now!
Just need to get back to the gym now i'm just so lazy!
 
Had fab holiday albeit short! Ate lots of lovely good quality food and drank lovely chilled wine and did lots of walking. Sigh! Back to reality and on track today. Aiming for a strict 8-10 weeks. My PT is going on holiday in 6 weeks time and wants to really push my fitness levels over the next lot of sessions. So I'm aiming to the exercise and concentrate on a good quality diet but with the help of slim & save vlcd products in the initial 4-6 weeks.

Your loom fab in your profile pic! 8st 9 is so very close! Just keep going don't lose momentum like I did at 8st 8! Keep going! The road to maintenance is so close!

Did you manage to get back on track today? I'm jealous you have a PT I need someone to kick my butt into shape but really couldn't afford it

Aw thankyou, it was my first night out since I've lost my weight it felt really good to feel nice
Definitely i'm going to keep going till I reach my goal it helps just posting here keeps me on track a little more when I come on here
Maintenance sounds so scary lol!!

I don't know whats up with me lately i'm on my second lot of anti biotics this month, and I've come up with random bruises on my body that I cant explain i counted 10 on just one leg (theyre only small though) so my mum thinks I could be low in iron as I am forever tired! I thought it was because I wake up at 5am usually for work but when I finish at 2 all I ever want to do is just sleep usually as my energy is just not there! I think my diet is probably not helping as I don't really like a lot of different food types I usually just eat a lot of chicken hmm
 
I heard of someone on a vlcd Cambridge experience bruising after 8 weeks and she then introduced food. She was convinced it was the vlcd. You should take a multivitamin with iron or best off all get checked by you doctor. Do try and have a variety of food if you can. Slim and unhealthy is not better than overweight and unhealthy and both suck when you feel cr**!

Yeh I've got some iron tablets now and vitamins so should see an improvement soon :)

Wow been abit fed up these last few days think I've put at least 3lbs back on but I will get it back off and be on track as of tomorrow....i'm not worrying though as its fine to eat whatever you want now and again...I do feel like my face has ballooned though as that's where I gain weight first lol
 
That good you're taking iron and vitamins. You may find this last bit the hardest and go up and down now and again. It's all good practice for maintenance. However do try and keep your momentum going as I really don't want you doing what I did and plateau on the effort and determination I was putting in to keep losing or at the very least maintain. Sadly it results in an overall 12 gain from the initial 3-4 gain!

Yup! So much easier to gain than keep losing! I'm sure after all your hard work though you'll see it through.
 
Yeh I definitely think its going to be the hardest but I don't feel as much in a rush as I do now to lose the weight however definitely not going to give up til I get there!! :)
Going to weigh myself in the morning so I know where I stand and I will weigh in again Friday! So I will report my damage tomorrow as im best facing up to it and then roll on a good week this week!! :)

However, my kids are back at school and I'll be doing the school run routine from now until half term which will really help me focus. And how scary is this! 16 weeks until Christmas! Definitely an incentive!

I have rest my goal to 8st 7lb just to make it feel more achievable and was only a pound off that in May I will keep the momentum up. I think I need the 7lb buffer and 8st 7 ish is the weight I can live with though 8st is my ideal.

Wow 16 weeks is that all definatelly does give us more incentive :) I've still got my holiday in 8 weeks too!!

I think i'm the same as you I rec i'll be happy around 8st - 8st1/2 although I really do wanna reach 8 stone just for my holiday plus it gives me room to enjoy myself !

However this morning weighed in at 8st 11 with a 2lb gain but had an awesome day food wise and definitely feeling back on track! We can do this! x
 
Remember its not you official weigh in until Friday so this 2lb gain may not be a real fat gain. Just fluctuation so don't panic.

8 weeks for your hols and I'm sure you'll reach your 8st goal. Focus on holiday first and then Christmas party season!
 
Well I weighed in at 8.10 this morning so not tooooooo bad I have been off track though so I guess it could of been a lot worse right I really need to get ready to lose these last 10lbs now!! Aiming for 2lbs off by next Friday! x
 
Well done! I'm sure you'll get 2 lbs for next week just stick to your plan as before and you'll be shot of another 2lbs!
 
I don't know what is wrong with me but my head is totally not into this whole healthy eating thing anymore!
I'm still at 8 stone 10 which is good I haven't gain but I want to loseeeeee!!
Today has been good actually food wise but I just need to keep it up! Only 7 weeks til my holiday now and I wanted to be 8 stone by then eek!
 
The last 10lbs was my biggest struggle to and ended up with a 10lb gain. I'm still stuck more or less in the same place but at least maintaining. I'm sure if you just tweak what you are having either food wise or exercise it will make a difference. You can definitely lose a decent amount in the next seven weeks.
 
Your right, that's it now its exactly 6 weeks until my holiday today so going to push myself! Still at 8.10 so not too bad but I know i'd feel SO much better with these 10lbs off!

Really need to get back excercising, and stop eating so much!!

Morning NG how are you doing? It weigh day for you today isn't it? I'm pleased to report that I am finally on track! Im down to 9st 0lbs 6oz! Hoping to be back in the 8's by Monday. Definitely plan to stay in the 8's once I'm there this time! I'm annoyed at myself for getting back I the 9's and staying there for so long!

We're both on the right road again yayyy we need to make sure we dont let ourselves slip now i think the hardest part about weight loss is definately keeping it off!

5 weeks to my holiday aswell so hoping for half a stone gone by then would love to be 8 stone ish! Ordered my fancy dress aswell which was a size 8 and fits so i am no longer a 10.

Yessss!!! 8.8 is fantastic! 5 weeks you could definitely be 8st or very close to it! Size 8 is just brilliant too! It's good that you now know your buffer zone for weight and dress size.
