20 somethings

Amusing Nate story. Now for chickens he makes his chicken noise and then says "c0ck" Ahahaha. It doesn't help one of his books calles the cockrel a c0ck after I got him saying cockrel.
lol thats great, kids always seem to have a way of shouting the innocent, but double meaning words much louder than the normal words haha! must be a natural instinct! I used to look after a little girl who thought ducks said "wa nk wa nk" rather than quack quack! was bloody hilarious but we did have to try and correct her to save getting her mum into trouble haha!

jealous of all the pets ladies! i'd love a cat but we rent privately and arent allowed :( cant believe youre allowed a st bernard sweet!

mandy sounds good that youve got so much free reign over what you do, woudl love to redecorate and stuff here but had to get permission just to put a few pics up so thats never going to happen!

had a lovely afternoon with my brother and sister in law. my nephew is so scrummy :) he has just started commando crawling so hes been into everything! my sister in law did take some lovely pics of me, mike and josh so when she tags me later ill put one on here.

havent fully caught up with everything yet, so will be back later to add my 2penneth :)

Wow, that's a lot for a child! Is it bad I am jealous of the two dinners? Haha. Nate demanded more post half pack of wotsits so we shared an Orange. I should say he only gets wotsits if he is good when we are out and we have been out all day, hence utter joy and excitement at having them at home.

I wouldn't worry about the 2 biscuits, it is when it is half a pack it isnt good!

Told mum about not finishing lunch and she said well done, then told me how she shared out her starter and her pudding but she is stuffed.

Star you'd be surprised. I was in Primark and a baby (less than 1 year old) had a baby bottle of coffee! I know for sure it was coffee because I later saw it spilled everywhere and could smell it.

hope lily feels better soon jess! poor sausage :(

we always had vegetables as children but i always hated them, mostly because they were overcooked and soggy. the main thing was the portion sizes though, my mum dad and brother at home still eat enormous portions and are all overweight. when i first joined sw my mum was asking me about it, i was explaining how its just a few changes to the way things are cooked and prepared and she is so bloody stubborn and pig headed she was insisting it wouldnt work for her because she already does all those things anyway. then immediately proceeded to make her lunch. 4 slice white bread sandwich with butter and cheese and a packet of crisps. well thats not really what i just said is it..? gave up in the end!

I love disney films, unfortunately though OH doesn't so i dont get to watch them with him. i will still happily take myself off upstairs for a bit of aladdin or little mermaid when the mood takes me! :)

We didn't eat too badly as children but I remember asking my mum to get rid of the deep fat fryer and start using oven chips. I was still at primary school so I must have been weight conscious even then!

I really started eating badly in sixth form. If I was having a bad day (there were many of them) I would get a honeycomb Yorkie and a hot chocolate from the vending machine, on top of my daily two chocolate bars and wheat crunchies. I was drinking a lot of full whack fizzy drinks and a packed lunch.

It eased at uni because I was out clubbing 5 nights a week so I lost a lot of weight. At the end of uni though I was binging in my room to get me through my dissertation - usually a whole bag of Wine Gums, a sharing bag of Doritos and a big bar of Fruit and Nut a night.

I lost a lot of that again after uni because I had an active job, but now I'm sat at a desk there's no room for manoeuvre! I'd just love to get to and maintain a healthy weight and relationship with food!

Ooh I can't wait to see the pictures. I'm amused you think he is into everything now, you wait ;)

We have been playing catch, mostly involved Nate laughing his head off. Apparently my grandma is moaning at his name and says he should be called danielle (dan-yelly) like her brother. But has conceeded he is beautiful. Glad I'm not up there seeing her the hatefilled bat. And apparently I don't look like i did when I was 3 (no ****). Mum took up a bunch of pictures, they are all before I lost weight though. So that'll give her more to moan about.

sw does make you want to change how people eat doesn't it? I think it is because it is so simple and effective.... And we get brainwashed each week. Haha

It looks like you are getting there though Emily :) your munching list sounds oh so similar. I could easy eat a big bar of fruit and nut. I sometimes want to see if I can put a whole one away, but the experiment isn't worth the syns!

Major excitement here ladies...I've treated myself to a morphy Richards electric soup maker...sad I know but I'm really excited!!

Think it will really help as I can make up batches for lunches/dinners when I get home on a night when I need a superfree boost! Should be here by Friday so I'm thinking a good healthy dinner of superfree soup on Friday before the wedding, and a healthy lunch on Sunday after the booze filled day too haha! Xxx

do any of you watch the x factor? i was out last night and recorded it- always liked james arthur but his song last night- wow! Ive always loved tht song, did it on piano for my gcse music final exam but never heard it done like james did it, have listened to it so many times already but i get goosebumps every time!

ah i haven't watched this series. all the adverts and bullplop got on my nerves. currently chuffed, i was a bit worried a dress i had ordered wasn't going to come because i hadn't been sent email confirmation but i had 2 for the other dress, so i emailed them and they have sent confirmation. oooh i hope it is as nice in real life. just trying to find something for my brother, and now for my friend's little girl. she asked me what size nate is now so i think she is getting him something so i need to send something up for her daughter. gah.

So, after a weekend not being able to serial weigh I got on on the scales to assess the damage... I'm feeling really full and had a huge roast dinner so fully expected to see 11st 7ish - but no! 11st 3 and three quarters! Super excited to be weighing that at the end of the day!

I get so worried about Christmas gift politics. The OH's office have invited me to join their secret santa, which I dread, but it's like another set of parents to impress so I can't really say no!

i know my group has secret santa, they did last year (mum told me) £5 limit, so i have picked out arlene phillips learn to dance to musicals. haha. it is supposed to be a lot more, but i am getting it through the book people so it is £3.99. getting mum a copy to as a little stocking present. just spent half an hour trying to make my basket go from £20 to £25 to get free delivery (the delivery charge would be as much as a book so i figured i would rather pay for another book than delivery charges if it is going to cost the same either way! I did debte getting the hairy bikers cook book but my group are a bit silly and would moan after doing their recipes and not losing weight because they're not all syn free, it's calorie counting.

I've decided to go for a green day tomorrow.

B: sw pancakes with berries and melon
L: 2 LM sausages, a small jacket potato and a big salad
D: mushy pea curry with chips, broccoli and green beans.

I've not made mushy pea curry before... and i don't like mushy peas.. but i want to have a go and if i don't like it i have some lentil and butternut squash curry waiting in the freezer!

Ooh let me know how the curry goes! I bought some mushy peas but I haven't been brave enough to try it yet.

The theme for this year's Secret Santa is 'something you would wear' - which is fine for the team members I know well but not for the odd super sensible person!

oh! how random... i don't suggest the candy thong if you are trying to impress them... would be SO funny though!

I am feeling most brave post diet coke (ha, i typed cock) chicken. i tend to expriement just on me and then expose the family to it if it goes well. they all like mushy peas though... but they are back tuesday evening so if it is nice it'll be wednesday's tea sorted! i am a bit worried because i still have a hormonal bottom and mushy pea curry is sure to make you toot!
