I applied for a PGCE for this year but didnt get in :( but I know Im not ready yet so thats ok. I want to work with early years and KS1. At the moment I am a voluntary TA in my village primary school - Year 1 on Tuesdays and Foundation/Reception on Thursdays. I am desperately trying to get paid TA work (am on job seekers allowance right now - its much fun :\)

But my eventual aim is to be a teacher for early years/ks1

Keep going love, something will come up, it always does! I know it's not what you want to hear now though, I'm starting to get panicy about my contract running out at Easter and if one more person says that 'something will come up' to me, I might scream ;-) haha! Good luck, and if you ever need any advice then there are lots of us here to help you out!! Xx

I've frozen cassoulet and curries.

Ah Christie I almost killed my ex. Thank god for epi pens! Prettiness always wins but I agree with jess show us the shoesies!

Your girls sound so funny Jess. No cookies for us but my tummy was growling!

Anyone got anything nice planned for the week ahead? I'm going to exeter tomorrow to hopefully get my computer fixed. It kept saying to take it to Toshiba but it turned out. Currys bought out the warrenty so I have to take it there. Hopefully find some new boots and a few ideas for Xmas for the family. I hate buying for boys, everything is so expensive!

Jenna what nights are you committing to hitting the gym this week? I am going Weds, Thurs, Sat or Sun, and Monday. Going to get some classes in this week and seriously start toning my flabby self!! X

Mm krispy kreme, I love the lemon meringue, and the apple cinnamon and well just the lot of them lol

Star thats what I thought I can batch cook plus on a tuesday I work until 8 so would be nice to have something in the slow cooker ready for me to eat when I get home, I already spend a fortune on meat anyway since being on sw lol and my oh doesnt say no when I let him have rack of lamb and various fish lol

I love the apple cinnamon one too, actually I love all of them"

That is what I do with mine, I have found pork to be the worst meat for slow cooking, it could just be my cooking but it always seems to come out a bit bland even though the veg etc is nice, unless it's a sausage haha But chicken and beef work well. You can make all sorts in one, even a whole chicken!

Loving the shoes Clare!
Jenna glad up enjoyed your night and cheesecake, jealous haha.
Scarlett so glad granny had a lovely surprise!
Right girls I need advice on which dress for Thursday night, have taken a pic in all 3 from diff angles lol, will post the pics now and give honest opinions of your favourite! Most votes wins :p dress 1 - striped bottom peplum, dress 2 - black skater and dress 3 - glitter peplum! X

Jess, love all of your dresses but for your birthday party I like the glittery one as it looks like a party dress but you look amazing in them all x

I've started watching Christmas films already! There's this amazing channel called Christmas 24 on Sky. Yep, xmas films 24 hours a day. In heaven!

I have soooo many christmas film, but I am trying to wait until 1st December haha My favorites are the polar express (which I have in 3D and it's amazing!), Elf and I really like Bad Santa

Ladies do any of you cook batches of food and freeze them in portions? i cook just for me and I'm trying to think of some things I can cook and freeze to have easy access to meals and also so I don't waste stuff and throw it out!

I freeze loads of stuff as I mostly cook for one or two, in my freezer now I have 2 types of soup, meatballs and tomato sauce, a pasta sauce (i just cook the pasta when I want it), cassoulet etc I then either take them out the night before so they're ready for my tea the day after or just defrost them in the microwave

I applied for a PGCE for this year but didnt get in :( but I know Im not ready yet so thats ok. I want to work with early years and KS1. Don't worry Steph, you'll find something, I was out of work for months earlier this year as I was made redundant from my last job so I know how hard/crap it is to be on JSA, I need to start to look for a new job as I am only doing temp work which ends soon, but there is something out there for both of us :)

My main aim for the week ahead is to not get myself sacked by telling my boss to eff off as she was a total b1tch last week!! Haha

I think I am going to see the new twilight film next weekend and my I get my last birthday present tomorrow too .... the new one direction album ....

I really like Exeter Fran so wish I lived closer

Oh god star! Twilight and one direction?!? It's a good job i like you. Boo for b1tchy boss. If you do tell her off you should record it so we can laugh at her.... Might look a bit conspicuous though. Lol. Exeter is nice, I don't have much choice when it comes to places of civilization though so even if it was horrid it'd have to do!

Ah Laura and jenna stop putting my "cleaning counts as body magic!" To shame! Haha

Haha I know but Twilight is more because I have seen the others but 1D I hold my hands up and am guilty as charged :) I'll put my phone on my desk and record it just for you!! She is stressed so is taking it out on me but she is forgetting I only have to give one weeks notice if I get a new job before the end of my contact so it'll be her who is f&ucked if she doesn't grow up *evil smug laugh*

Cleaning totally counts as body magic, I did my bathroom, living room and one of the bedrooms today and was knackered after!

I kinda might include shopping but to be fair I go pretty intense unless I'm with mum and she's sucked us into hours of debenhams. Love that everyone counts cleaning though.

Ha, that would be funny for her to panic in having no replacement.

Jenna, dish the food, was it pineapple? :p

Twilight and 1d love is disturbing me but I watch antiques roadshow so who am I to say anything! Haha.

OMG Jenna!!!!! I am sooo jealous :)

Jess, it was Jacob for me but I really enjoyed the books so it'll be a bit of fun hopefully. I really enjoy a trip to the cinema

The panic will be made even better as she has 2 weeks off in Decmber and I will be looking after it all on my own so no me = no orders placed, I want a new job so bad to stick two fingers up at them...but if I am offered a permanent job I wil take it and keep rising above it.

Steph you're doing the best thing you can doing the voluntary work, builds up your experience for both getting a TA job and for the PGCE. Are you applying again?

Ooh star- a girl after my own heart. I'm a boy band addict and not ashamed to admit I love one direction! Is your name a mcfly reference or just a coincidence? X
Jenna good luck for tomorrow!
Fran I've visited Exeter a few times, got family there and I loved it. I thought I was the only southerner here but it seems not! Actually can I do a survey here- where is everyone from? I'm from Horsham, west Sussex (about 20mins from Gatwick airport, halfway between London and Brighton)
