Lol, never heard of an online challenge like that before, did think it was a bit of a distance!!!!!!
Re the compulsive weighing, they may settle down when you're a bit further along with your loss? Don't think stressing over it is helpful. There is a thread on here about that I think - so many others feel that need to weigh too. I re weighed myself first thing this morning, to check the scales were right yesterday!! Won't do it till next Monday now.
Have found it a bit harder today, not sure why, just felt like eating lots of sweets, which is what I used to do.

I did have a good day thanks - sorry yours was not so good.

I try and keep grapes in the fridge so that if i fancy something sweet, they are there. The other thing I used to do, was buy the pots of Gu chocolate Granache mini puds (think they used to be about 12 syns, would have to check what they are now) and keep them in fridge to dip the grapes into (used to make one last 3 days), used to be just enough for the chocolate hit. They are a little expensive but if you are a chocoholic like me, well worth it!

The other thing if you like sweets, is to make up a sugar free jelly 1.5 syns, but with only half the about of liquid, and pore it in ice cube trays (I have a strawberry shaped one) and leave them to set, then eat them as if they were sweets! (thats only if i got to them before my children of course!) LOL

Yes I have already joined the thread re serial weighing! I least I know I am not alone with it.

I do confess that I got on the scales this morning, and it did show a loss again, so v happy. :) I am NOT going to weigh tomorrow, I AM going to wait till Friday!

Yesterday was a good day.

Had to stuff in a caramel mini egg and a mini maltester bunny with a glass of milk at bed time, just to make sure I had 10 syns and my HE a choice!

got diner ready before I left for work and left it in the oven on timer so that it was ready when I got in. Nice big chicken tray bake, Chicken, new potatoes, swede, carrots, onions and butternut squash, and it was totally yummy! Only thing is there was none left for my lunch for today :( as the munchkins and hubby eat it all up (anyone would think they like SW meals)! LOL

Thanks for the tips, will try the sf jelly and got couple of punnets of grapes too. Never heard of the Gu thingy's lol
I had real probs sleeping last night, lay there about an hour then got up, usually have cup of tea and lots of sweets or biscuits - last night I had a banana in ML yog, that's better than sweet stuff.
Your chicken bake sounds yummy, shame you have to share all your stuff!! I live alone, so no-one to nick all my sw food, treats and syns lol

Got chicken casserole with lots of veg for supper tonight, been cooking in slow cooker all day, so off to tuck in! Hope your day has been positive, Kayte x

Did dry out, but took an hour or so! LOL

Not being able to sleep is horrible, I do not suffer at the mo but have done in the past. Always been able to get to sleep, but have trouble staying asleep some times and lay awake during the early hours.

I try and hide my treats from my munchkins but my son sniffs them out, he is just like a hover, open the fridge and its all gone!

I do have a cunning plan when it comes to treats, for the munchkins I buy crisps, biscuits, sweets etc, but I buy ones that they like and I don't then I don't eat them.

Chicken dinner was really good!

I so love my slow cooker I use at at least twice a week! hope you enjoyed your diner.

Yesterday was a good day, did the Lemony Pork tray bake from the new Mag, it was really good, well worth giving it a go.

Also made a spag bol for tea tonight, as I have a tap dancing class.

Put grated carrot and swede with onions, mushrooms and passarta with mince lamb, oxo cubes and garlic - yummy salad the pasta to go with it also.

its just a shame that the mince lamb is 5 syns for 100g!

Hubby does not eat quorn, and tried mince turkey, it does not taste right in spag bol.

Brought a new sandwich toaster at the weekend, nice deep filled one. cooked an omellete in it for breakfast, came out good, but sandwiched shaped!LOL

tomorrow is my first official WI day! would like to be 13st.......... so we will see!

I've not had my slow cooker long, but have enjoyed experimenting, so far so good. May try a chicken in it at weekend.
Slept a lot better last night, only have probs occasionally. Are you doing EE? Have you got your starter pack yet? I have ordered a book from ebay, just recipes and got it for £10 so not too bad.
Hope your tap dance class was good, you're doing better than me on the exercise front!!
I am feeling very fat and bloated today, jeans feel tight :confused: - have not strayed from plan at all.......
Good luck for your weigh in tomorrow, do you go in the evenings?

I always feel bloated if I have bread, if I have branflakes and prunes for breakfast then it helps my digestive system if you know what I mean and it stops me feeling bloated

I would love to be able to eat prunes but they have a rather bad effect on me! LOL
 
Lol! Well in that case forget the prunes I can only suggest reducing bread haha
Iv known others that get bloated eating bread too but it's so yummy I love a good sandwich but try to only have bread 2or 3 times a week not everyday or I can't do up my jeans and feel like michellin man haha

Glad you slept better! Its horrible not being able to sleep.

I have done a whole chicken in my slow cook pot several times, it comes out really tender and just falls off the bone. you do not need to put much water in with it, I usually just put about 100ml but if you are going to do veg in with it put some more in or the veg go a bit dry on the top.

I am doing EE with a couple of green days thrown in. I am not going to a class as I do not have the time, I have paid for online Gold support (That is why I started this thread for extra support and info and people to talk about SW with.), so I got the started pack in the post on Wednesday with an other copy of this months Mag, so now have two mags! LOL



I weigh in on a Friday morning - lost 3lb this week. :) which I know is good but was slightly disappointed that it was not 4lb to get to the 13st mark! :(

Don't know why you would be so bloated, I take charcoal tablets when I am bloated this disperses any excess wind that may be trapped. I get them from the health food shop. Sammies idea of bran flakes and prunes could work...........

Tap was good fun, being doing it for about 3 years now. We have a right laugh!

That chicken sounds delicious! Ur making me hungry lol I love my slow cooker, not had it long but I like to experiment with it

And I don't go to a class either so I find this site very handy
 
Well Done on 3lb - that's a bag and half of sugar!! or, there are some threads with a pic of 1lb of fat eeww! So 3lb is brilliant :cool: Next week will be at 13 mark!
Just put my whole chicken in SC, with little water on bottom - will do veg separate, how long do you think for whole chicken? on slow?
I have cut bread out completely at moment, so bloating not bread, thought it might be white pasta?
I had a bad night last night :cry:drank too much voddy and got munchies!! So hoping that blip doesn't show on my weigh in on Monday!
