2013 will be my year!

Hi

Keep your chin up, there is alway next week, if you do not get the result you want this week. Just never give up trying!

Yes did syn the the spare ribs. Butterfly prawns were the worst at 2 syns each as they are deep fryed I guess, and I had 8 of them!

Going to eat loads of superfree speed food this weeks for damage limitation. Stepped on the scales this morning and I have put 3lb back on! LOL however it does not count till Friday! Hehehe

Going to make a SW curry tonight!

Busy start to the week! ate half my breakfast before leaving home! Grated apple, yogurt and half a grapefruit. Hifi bar and coffee when I arrived. Carrots, celery and 2 x satsumas for snack. lunch was left over from yesterday, spag hoops, and veg omelette, cheese topping (15g chedder) with mixed salad followed by a yogurt. Not time for snack this afternoon and not hungry yet really, but drank 3 cups of tea and a large glass of water.

Home to make a SW curry with boiled rice.

Only 1 syn so far for the yogurt this morning as it is the Onken Fat Free with apple and mango (5 syns for 450g) and I have 75g of it.

Catch you all later.

You luck to those WI tonight! :cross:

You've had a good day so far - how can the scales tell lies like that! don't get on till Friday lol
I lost 1.5lb, despite my worries - so very pleased that I can keep motivated for this week!
I made a curry today too, all free/super free - it was ok, but needed a little something extra - do you add yoghurt to yours?
Hope you don't mind me keep writing in your thread! x
:0clapper:Well done on you loss thats really good!

Everyone enjoyed my curry, only thing is they thought it was more like a chilli than a curry and to be honest it was, just missing the red beans! So I think I have a new recipe for a good Chilli! (wasnt quite syn free as I used mince pork 1/2 syn per 100g for less that 8% fat)

I have the SW Curry book the hard back one and the paper back one, I have tried several of the recipes in these, usually go for the ones with coconut milk in them as they are milder (don't go for too hot). When ever I put yogurt in cooking I always seem to manage to split it no matter how careful I am, so No not normally.

I do not mind at all you writing on my thread, in fact I quite like our chats! :) and appreciate the support you give me.

Try putting a little bit of cornflour in your yogurt first to stop it from splitting, found this tip on the Internet!

Green day today for a change. :eat:

Breakfast - half grapefruit, grated apple, Onken yogurt (1syn) and 30g of honey nut shredded wheat HE b

morning snacks - hifi bar HE B and coffee, half a melon, 2 satsumas, celery and carrots

Lunch - SW Speed soup (Bake beans, tin tomatoes, tin carrots) Activia 0% yogurt

LOL! Hello!

SW Speed soup is great it is free on EE as well. My old consultant told us about it, its cheap, filling and tasty. Tin each of Baked beans, toms, carrots, whizzed up, heat up and server, couldn't be easier. I only mange to eat half at a time, so have some for tomorrow as well. I do use heniz beans instead of value ones, but value carrots and toms are fine. HE portion of cheese on top goes well too, or spice it up with chilli beans!

Wow that speed soup sounds good

Iv seen a super speed soup on here with loads of ingredients (like 15 ingredients!) but this one sounds nice and easy

Bacon and egg sandwich for breakfast with banana, 2 x satsumas and a yogurt. Need to have something substantial as I have an 11am meeting and will need to leave the office at 9:30am to get there, so no morning munching session for me today. (I eat most in the mornings too!) Not sure what will be for lunch as the meeting will not finish till 2pm and then I have to drive back. Hopefully the colleague that is coming with me will not mind stopping for a bake spud somewhere.

So worried that I am not going to eat enough today :( Really want that 13st mark on Friday!

Sure you will meet your target, I'm psychic and know these things lol!
It's hard not to worry I know, we worry we're eating too much - not enough....it is hard getting it just right! Well, feels that way anyway.
Some of my trials recipe wise, seem to be a little bland, and I worry I will get bored with it  have tried the syn free gravy, and thickening with smash - mmm, not quite right for me. Will keep tweaking!
Your pasta bake - oh dear, sounds yukky! could you salvage any of it?
Hope your meeting went ok, and you managed to find sw friendly foods for today :wavey:

Meeting was good,.

Had jacket potato, beans and salad on way back to office, so all good.

Not sure I like the idea for gravy thickened with mash. Sounds weird.

How's your day been, what you been eating? Lots?

I made Gok Wans garlic chicken with veg noodles for tea. It was yummy! But need to work out how many syns it was.

Tired today and feeling grumpy :badmood:

Didnt sleep to good, Hubby started his new job and shift, which is 11pm to 10am, so first night on my own, and woke up every two hours! :zz:

Also got on the scales :scale: this morning and I have put 1lb from last week, WI tomorrow.............. Guess I will not hit the 13st mark! Cant say that I am overly surprised as I did not stick 100% to SW at the weekend, not sure I even did 10% LOL but we were celebrating.

Have loads of free food with me today, and the rest of the speed soup from Tuesday for lunch, breakfast was grapefruit, scramble egg and smoked salmon. Pork, apple and lentil stew in the slow cook pot cooking away ready for tonight after tap dancing. Jacket Potato in the oven on timer too. Hopefully tomorrows WI will then be a STS.

(have a couple of Alpen light bars in my draw also for HE B - Must not forget to have HE a either!)

Note to self - must stick to SW 100% at reach 13st mark by end of next week - going to do a paper diary as well as filling in on line............. Think I will start paper diary today, no time like the present.

Hope everyone else is doing OK.

Superfree foods here I come!
