I've just got back from the docs. She's said I may have a viral infection which is causing the vertigo and headaches. Lastnight I got up at 3 for a wee and walked towards the door but veered left. And down the stairs. Was really weird. I had no control over it. She doesn't know what that is. It was horrid. Been given some tablets for vertigo and some painkillers so gonna take them and go and lie down xxx

To complete the Xmas challenge to lose 60 lbs I need to lose 3.5 lbs a week. This is my new target for now.

i lost but im not counting it on here. gonna go til next week on 1500 and see how i get on. i feel positive about it, and i feel a bit more in control. i dont wanna be eating for the sake of it, i did fine yesterday on my 3 meals and i wanna stay like that.
 
Half a pound ON for me this week despite being over 4,000 calories under for the week Lou.

The steroid increase is finally kicking in - I wondered when it would happen :rolleyes: The plan now is not to do what I usually do at this time of year and stop resisting the ravenous hunger and start to eat more and more as dieting stops working for the next few months...........

Keep on your 1500 cals - you will definitely lose and hopefully feel a lot better than JUDDD - I know a few people who felt ghastly and had to pack it up after a while, so you are not alone. It clearly doesn't suit everyone.
 
At least you know why you have gained. It's harder in the winter to diet. I know from past diets that in this colder weather you just want warming heavy meals. Salad is all well and good when the sun is shining but not in the dark cold nights!

Today's loss was little but as I gave up juddd mid week I haven't had a proper DD since my last UD so I expected a small loss.

I'm still here and still dieting! Had my sons bday on Saturday so ate alot of naughty food but I'm back on it and still hoping to be slim at some point in the future!

I'm still having headaches and now I have a painful water infection. I tell you what, when I was bigger and not dieting I never got ill!! What is happening to me?!

Anyway I'm pushing on and drinking water to try to flush it out.
1500 cals is nice and easy for me :) if I have any more than that, I find I have loads left over in the evenings and then I scoff before bed which is not good!

Not updating til Friday but I have finally lost over 2 stone !!!! Seem to be doing well on the 1500 cal diet, some days I have a bit more but not loads and im defo seeing results from day to day!
It just feels like this is my normal life now, I don't feel like I'm dieting, and it's brill! I've never got to this point before and I know that I will keep going, there's no doubt about it at all. Hoping for another 3 - 4 stone by Xmas but if I dont make it it's ok, coz I'm still going to continue. 2 years out of my life for getting the
Weight off is a mere speck in my lifetime.

Looking forward to updating on Friday! X

I'm feeling uber good about it at all now. I'm a maniac daily weigher but ive learned to roll with the fluctuations and I've been finding if I weigh only once a morning the results are generally a loss. If there's a slight gain i just curb the carbs for a day or don't eat after tea.

Got burger for tea tonight but we've got no bread rolls so I'm gonna grill them and melt some cheese over the top with some red onion rings and have fry light wedges and beans. Hope it goes down well with the family! X

It was nice! How was your slim fast? :p I haven't had a curly wurly since I was a kid!

I added some chopped garlic to the potatoes while they cooked and it was tasty :)

Hungry now but gonna resist anything, could scoff a pizza though!! Will make sure I have a treat on Friday, not sure what though! X

I've started having them cos they are low in cals/points and take ages to eat and feels like you've had proper chocolate bar. My slimfast was nice, did just have a choc biscuit though :( oops xx

Mugshots are my friend. Mugshots are my friend! They taste like snot but with some lea and perrins they are bearable and a good lunch for me :) xx
