29 Stone Start Weight Diary by Lou

Damn kebabs... they are my personal favourites alongside pizza. And they happen to be the most high calorie and unhealthy meals out there... damnit!

May have to indulge in a cheeky kebab... in two months or something. :(

Losing weight is worth missing out on any greasy heavenly meal though :)

I've never had a kebab. I don't like lamb, I only really eat chicken and its weird but I don't trust it from a kebab shop. It looks nice, grilled chicken with salad and pitta. I can make that at home.

My friend who is losing weight, who is nearing the 19 stone mark like you ( he's lost 2 stone so far) has a kebab and chips every Friday night and still loses. I guess as long as you have a good day either side of it then it balances out. But - as I have seen happen, it could be a trigger to bad eating again. It happened to me too. I had a bad week and then I didn't lose for a couple of months :( and I'm only just getting out of that. That's why I'm working so hard at the mo, coz I want to make up for lost time.

I would love to hit 5 stone gone by the end of may, so I am going to have to not have any slip ups. It's going to be tough but it'll be worth it. Takeout food can wait :) x

I've got a pork joint roasting in the oven, it smells amazing already :)

Going to be having loads of fresh veg and gravy with it for tea. I can't wait :) x

I still have takeout quite often, as long as I monitor the calories I can fit it in. Although a kebab and chips would be way too far for me!

Chicken is my #1 favourite too, it has be my main source of meat by a million miles during my weight loss. It is the best!
 
Have you tried turkey? It's less cals than chicken, slightly diff texture but I like it. I used turkey mince to make meatballs and burgers and kofta kebabs. Really tasty :)

Yep - I'm gonna stick to 1700 or less a d drink more water. I am going to do a Leslie sansone walk at least twice.

I have made myself proud today. I am really hungry and joe wants a kebab and I could devour at least a portion of chips but I'm being strong and not giving in :) I'm still hungry and feeling a bit dizzy but it's bedtime soon so I can sleep and not feel hungry!

I've had a good 3 days since weigh in and that's rare for me on a weekend. We shared sausage and chips for lunch, I had half a sausage and half a portion of chips and even after that and chicken curry for tea I've still only had less than 1400 cals today, not including walking while helping look for someone's cat this morning :)

I'm also not going to eat after 7 pm

Sounds like a good plan, You've done really good today then. me I'm just going to make sure I drink plenty. Point everything and plan. I'm doing power hoop exercise class tomorrow so I'm looking forward to that.

It was delish and just what I needed :) and I did a plate for my grandad who can't get out and about or cook.

I'm hungry in the evenings, like right now - but I'm just thinking of the numbers on the scales going down on Friday morning! Love that :D

What's powering hooping or whatever you said?! It sounds fun! X

I tend to get dizzy alot despite what I eat. I have been to the doctor about it but they don't take it seriously. They just see me as a fat person - so every ailment I have is OBVIOUSLY because I'm overweight. Thin people NEVER get ill do they?! Argh!! Lol.

Last night I was hungry but I fought through it and came out the other side :) now I am super hungry this morning but I'm dealing with it by having a shower and getting ready before I eat anything. That way, hunger loses :) I have gotten used to hunger before and it's a great thing. I eat when I choose, and not when my body is begging for it. Obviously if I'm weak and faint etc i will eat lol, but my tummy can wait 30 mins for breakfast, it won't kill me!

So I'm feeling positive that I'm going to smash my April challenge of 10lbs. Only got 1.7lb left to lose. May is 5 weigh ins for me so I'm going for 12lbs in may :) x

Another day successfully done. I beat off the hunger and made it to bed without eating anything after tea!

One day at a time is defo the trick. I hope I get a good loss after all this hard work! X

I've just had coco pops for breakfast with skimmed milk... Yum :)

I've set myself a Challenge of losing a stone by the 31st may. 6 weeks, 6 weigh ins...it's doable at 2.5 a week average. That will take me nicely into 60lbs lost! Then I'm gonna go for 10lbs a month after that. I'd love to get to 100lbs lost by my sons 12th birthday at the end of September.

My may challenge starts now, well from my last weigh in so my first weigh in for may will be my last one for april. The last weigh in for may is the 31st so you should weigh on that day too, it's only a day early, and that gives you an extra week to get to a stone :)

I can't wait! It's gonna be fab to shift some proper weight :)

I'm going to allow myself a treat once a week on a Friday evening so I don't feel like I'm missing out. X

It better bloody had do!! This is the best week I've had since I started!! Hoping for at least 2 lb to get my April goal beaten.

It's basically hula hoop with a weighted hoop, you don't do it all class you use the hoop in different forms but supposed to be good for inch loss around hips and belly. I was crap couldn't keep the hula hoop up but really enjoyed the class it was great xx
