4 stone by Christmas

Hey everyone!
Is anyone else a Imustweigheverysingleday-er or is it just me? I don't count it as 'official' til my weigh in day, but somehow I can't stop standing on the scales every single morning. :/

Today was a quiet day for me.... Camplestar i'm a little jealous of your wanting to scream day, I used to work with both kids and teens and loved it. I'm trying to get back into it, but right now i'm working in retail... in a chocolate shop. Nothing like a boring day with chocolate samples an inch away from you. :/ And well done on your weight loss!

Hey Jessica and welcome to the challenge! I'm... clueless about gyms really so can't offer you much help. However, rather than concentrating on what will help you lose the most weight, try and find things you enjoy. Before I got an (unrelated) injury I used to go taekwondo twice a week... it didn't feel like exercise.. well yah sometimes it did, but more than that it was fun.

Jessica I find Zumba great fun.

I'm with you nixxy on the I must weigh everyday, I get weighed every morning but only write it down on a Friday. To be honest I get weighed at night before I go to bed too. I am a teaching assistant full time, run performing arts after school club, teach dance at the weekends for 3-23 year olds and spend my holidays doing dance workshops and projects with kids. Don't get me wrong i love working with them, but feel like I spend all my life with them right now and feel the need for space. Got a few days off after this week before back to school in September. I prefer working in the theatre at the min as my fave job. Just being in the theatre gives me the buzz and working with my amazingly sexy boss is a good plus too lol. Shame he's not into me

I just found this thread and would love to join the 4 stone challenge if i can? :) struggling to find anyone with similar goals until i saw this and i think it will help keep me on track! I just finished week 1 and had my first weight today. 7lbs off (probably water weight!) so 3.5 to go.

P.s i love the money jar idea too and am going to start one fpr a dress to wear to my work xmas party!

Hey rach, welcome. Well done on the 7lb, 3.5 doesn't sound half as bad as 4 does it? My money will be for the Christmas party too lol x

Ah thankyou! Everyone on this thread seems lovely. 3.5 doesn't sound so bad but i always get to a particular weight and seem to then sabotage myself?! This time i will get past that though! I like shopping too much not to :)
I think i will post some meal ideas too as i do them so i remember them and if other people wanted to try them?

Sounds good. I sabotaged myself, lost 4 stone them put on nearly a stone of it back so trying to get it off again. If I manage this by Christmas it will hit my 7 stone mark and I will be very happy x

I'm just eating less and healthy, tried all sorts of stuff but always give up x

Has anyone ever heard of the military diet. Looks really good and some really nice food on it. Very tempted to try it.

It's 3 days of really low calorie then 4 days of 1500cals, says you can lose 10lb each week. The low cal days are like egg and toast, banana and ice cream, hot dog and veg, then the options the suggest for the other days are like tuna pitta and jacket potatoe kind of stuff, google it, looks ace

Hi,
I have just joined this site and would like to join your challenge if that's ok.
I would be great if I could hit the 4 stone by Christmas but would be happy with 3.
Restarted SW last Monday (from home) horrified with my weight 16 stone 10lb
1st weigh in today and lost 4lb, long way to go!
X

Hey Ali, well done. We are very similar weights now. Lets see how far we get x

Hi,
Think this challenge is just what I need to keep me focused!
Hoping my willpower kicks in now.
Fingers crossed we all meet the challenge!
X

yay all the new challengers!

And yups, we all seem to have around the sameish to lose, which feels quite good actually. I know everyones on their own journey and by Christmas we'll be some of those people... but sometimes it feels a little demoralizing when your surrounded by people wanting to 10-20lbs when you have a whollle lot more. (thinking more about rl than here). Then again, here I feel a bit bad poking around the WeMITT's section as I'd don't want anyone thinking that about me. :/

I agree, when your with people wanting to lose 7lb or something it makes me feel stupid like that is just a tiny chunk fort me x
