A bit late to the game

Thank you KB!! I shall try! :D

and i don't think that I'll be incorporating that hill into my walk. Took me half an hour to find a main road that I actually knew and it wasn't the one I was aiming for. At one point I walked in a circle! :p

I'd planned to be out walking for an hour anyway and it was a nice day but not very practical for my evening walk.

I think I need a handheld satnav!!

does your phone have sat nav on it... (mine does hence why i ask...)

nah, it has google maps but it's pretty rubbish at working out where you are. I'd probably still manage to get lost. I have lousy sense of direction :D

I know where the hilly bit is, I just can't get back off the hilly bit once I'm on it! :p

lol

I have found another hill! Which I can just walk up and walk back down again. Doesn't take too long either so I think I might try and incorportate it into my daily walk

nooooooooo Carnmoney (Newtownabbey) :).

Part 1 actually. They cross sectioned it with a main road. So the main part is actually a bit higher than that.

2lb loss this week! Yay! (because I've been eating some of my easter eggs - although trying to be controlled and fit into my calorie allowance).

So now I'm off to walk up that hill. Like the Duke of York really.

Well done PK that's great, 2 pounds is a big loss for you in a week, fab stuff. Now watch out for those 10,000 men.....
I have an Uncle lives somewhere up there, Glebe Road maybe?

I have a friend that lives on the Glebe road, although it was another 1 that was bi sected by this other road.

The end house on that road has a garage, which you wouldn't be able to manoeuver a car into because the railings are too close.

if your uncle is more carnmoney area he's probably on the other side of the road :D

we have a really big shed, which you could get a car into but the doors aren't big enough.

My mum had a guy from the land valuation come round to prove it as they were going to put up our rates

Technically a stay the same KB, 3/4s of a lb. So still 16st 1lb See tomorrow morning though, I'll probably be in the 16st 0 bracket! It's just to scud me on weighing in day. :p

Not an entirely brilliant week.

Mum went into hospital on Thursday for some (scheduled) surgery. Everything went really well though and she should hopefully be out either today or tomorrow (providing she can pee :p)

Spent most of the week being tangoed although I've been working my way through my easter eggs (slowly I might add). Someone bought me some mini sugar dummies on Thursday and I scoffed them all. 3 yesterday :break_diet:

I thought I'd done quite well on the exercise front (even if I just managed 5 days) but my little toe developed a massive blister on the top of it on one side and later the week the other side.

Which I've burst and it's all bit icky and sore. So I don't know if I should just leave off the walking till it's healed over a bit.

Hope your week has gone a wee bit better!

Well I hope so KB. Think this evening might be a bit manic anyway.

Doesn't look like mum will be getting home tonight (can't pee!).

Parents anniversary tomorrow which my mum has forgot so I'm going to have to run round to tescos after work to get her a card and a bottle of Bush for my dad.

Fortunately my dad normally cooks dinner (providing he's home in time - he's a self employed roofer) but i probably won't be home till about 6ish and visiting hours at the hospital start at 7.30 (although it only takes 15 mins or so to get there).
