How you doing? I hope you get your deposit back. Landlords are one thing I don't miss. When I was at uni I had a nightmare landlord in 2nd year who tried to keep my deposit, she was a lawyer and started spouting all this rubbish to me, well I dug my heels in and got my money back! Cheeky moo!

Well done on only having fruit for pudding. I know I couldn't do that so you are a better person than me!

I'm good thanks. I'm getting there. They originally had 2 pages of things that they wanted money for and now it's down to 1/4 of a page, so i've already saved quite a lot. They are only asking for £50 now but it's £50 they aren't entitled to and i don't want to pay it to them ! Well done on getting your money back. That's the trouble they just try their luck.

Oooohhh you have put me to shame. I have just had a little tidy up and found my forlorn pedometer which just said "when did you die?". I had forgotten all about it. I really need some instructions as to how to read it etc. I got it set up alright but can't see where it tells you the steps you walked. I have bought a treadmill whuch should come in the next week or so, then I'll get going...but bad M.

I don't think i could ever put you to shame M you do soooo much. Well finding it is the first step to using it. Is it a WW one? If it is i might be able to help just let me know. Oh that's soo cool i've always wanted a treadmill. Although i would only ever jog on it as i would be too scared of falling off if it went too fast. . I hope it arrives soon. xxx

Charly that's so similar to what happened to me. We spent ages cleaning the flat and then we got a letter saying it was a tip and there were maggots in the kitchen. Blatant lie! We pulled the cooker and fridge and everything out and bleached everywhere. Lying moo!! And it was obvious she was lying as she gave us our full deposit back eventually!

Evening all i hope you have had a fab day. Just got back from swimming and it was really good i did my 36 laps and am finding it is getting a lot easier. 50 by the end of August is the aim!

I am having major issues with food today! I've eaten all my points and i am still really hungry!!! Does anyone else have days like this? It's doing my head in. I am trying to distract myself. I'm normally ok with my points it's very bizarre. xxx

When we moved out of our last place we lost a couple of hundred off the deposit. We broke a mirror (which was fine, I don't mind paying for that.. my fault!) but we had the carpets professionally cleaned then hoovered over. On the way out Adam spotted a few tiny black bits that had fallen off one of the last things we took with us.. barely noticeable and we couldn't be bothered to hoover them up as we'd already taken the hoover down 3 flights of stairs. They charged us for having to clean the "dirty carpets" and included a photo of the tiny patch of fluff or whatever it was!

Yes that's one on our list too. The shower upstairs leaked because they had done a really bad job of installing it. Then they had the cheek to try and charge us for little drip marks on the carpet directly underneath. I don't think so...

That's so wrong though especially as you had paid to have it done.
