saw a recipe on a foody website for roled up omlete cut into rolls which is apparently a korean recipe and its popular to have in lunch boxes so thought id give it a go seen as it can be made syn free, i used bacon since im doing red today, it is just a roled up omlete so knew i was going to like it, i like the idea of it becoming a figer food and that it can be served cold and taken to work :) anyway heres my attempt

why have you had no breakfast or lunch!!!

ive not been very hungry sort of got used to not having food at work :/ we dont have a place to eat and there's only 3 of us so if i eat i eat at my desk with the phone always ringing or people coming in off the street and im reception aswell as everything else i get asked to do ( i work in a recruitment agency)

bought a sea food mix from Tesco this morning so the plan is to make a sort of sea food tomato type dish using weight watchers roasted garlic pasta sauce which is 6.5 syns for the full jar think i may end up using half at 3.25 syns but lets see how we go would be nice with pasta but we dont have any wholemeal in atm, just had a look again in teco and only whole wheat there so going to have to scrap the pasta :(

ok ... so i tried my tomato sea food concoction and didnt like it :( , ive never tried muscles untill now and i dont like them, they made the rest of the food taste like sea water so my dad end up eating it, sooo on the plus side at least i didnt use any syns

Just bought some curly kale from tesco after seeing some posts about it, going to have a go at making it tonight, found this on another thread and just re-posting it here for my own reference

1 Bag of curly kale (ready chopped)
Salt
Granulated sweetener
Frylight

Put the oven on high.

Spread the kale over a frylighted baking tray, remove any stalks, sprinkle with salt and place in the middle of the hot oven.

Check every few mins and when the outer ones start to go brown move them to the middle and put the greener ones to the outside, you can also just take out the done bits as you go along.

Place in a bowl, sprinkle a bit more salt and approx 1 tbsp of granulated sweetener, you can add more or less depending on taste.
