I have to admit, I watch it for different reasons than Shell does... Lol! :) I recommend watching it, its excellent... :)

Haha, that was one of the things that attracted me to it at the start ;) about to get tucked up in bed to watch it now, recorded True Blood earlier so will watch that afterwards :)
 
Ohhh and just ordered my next months supply of Exante. Gonna buy a box of the porridges this weekend aswell. Another month in the bag :)
 
I am lying in bed watching Spartacus as we speak!
 
How are you finding Exante? I've done a total food replacement diet before, not sure I'd go back to one anymore!

I really like Exante! Its simple and its quite straight forward I think... The losses aren't bad either :) I've tried Slimming World and WW but to be fair I only tried them for like... a week... and to be fair, each time I did lose 4lbs... Lol so don't really know why I didn't stick with it, I just get too easily tempted to have that little bit of a treat or a drink, and so I think Exante is perfect for me because its just simple... 3 packs a day, done! How is your diet going? How come you didn't like the VLCD? I think they just aren't for some people :)
 
Yeah I can understand that. I don't know, I just didn't like it. I did it for a couple of months and lost 35lbs so did well on it but just had enough. Hated how difficult socialising was. Things like the pub, family meals (of which there are many!), things like that just were so much more difficult. I ended up just putting it back on because I didn't really learn anything about eating better, exercise etc. It's slower now but feel better for it, its going well I think. Well, other than a disappointing 1.6lb loss this week but I know the exercise I'm doing is meaning lower losses.
 
That is good :) I know what you mean about the social thing, my social life is literally non-existant but I'm okay with it for now... I'm pretty skint anyway so I might even be financially better off being on this diet haha :|

Its great how many inches you are losing, even if like you say the losses are not as high as you'd expect the inch loss is definitely happening! Wish I could be bothered measuring myself... :p

Hi Aaron,

Just wanted to say mate you've been an inspiration. I've been reading your posts from the beginning and I finally decided to take the plunge. Only on my second day but all is going well so far!!!

Just wished these invitations to go out and eat wouldn't pop up. When i'm not dieting I never seem to get them and when I am they come in fast and furious.

Anyway i'll keep everyone updated with progress and I hope I can replicate your success.

Good luck with the diet adam loads of support on here and really good to see other guyz joining in, we have to keep each other motivated so all good, let us all know how you do in your first weekly weigh in and try and put a weight ticker up so we can all see your progress.Cheers :)
 
Yeah that was the good thing, saved me money going out! But then £50 a week for the diet was expensive =/ I reckon I could do it again now though, no social life anyway lol You should definitely measure yourself, the inches are a good motivation when you see the lbs aren't coming off as fast. That's my personal challenge to you today, measure!!
 
Hi Adam, good luck dude! Taking the first step and starting it is the hardest part, and once you get the first week over and done with it does get easier :) good luck and keep us all posted on how you're doing, before you know it your trousers will be falling down and thats when you know things are working how they should be :) I'm ever so chuffed that I've inspired you! :D

and thanks valentine :p I can carry my weight quite well I am quite lucky in that aspect but believe me I have it there to lose!

haha, Caroline I don't have one of those floppy tape measures so I can't do it now anyway :( but I might get get hold of one for next week sometime and I may join you in keeping track of my inch loss aswell :p just having a flapjack bar and then I'm off to the gym tonight, really feeling quite drained and tired so I'm not expecting miracles tonight but I haven't been for at least a few days now so need to really keep the momentum going...
 
Just got back from't gym, just in time for Biggest Loser USA :D absolutely LOVE Tuesday nights for this!!! Had a decent workout, feeling achey but feeling great! Veggie soup and sparkling water infront of me, feeling very happy :)

Ooo yay wonder if they all have rubbish losses like the first few I hate this having to wait all week between WIs :)
