This is so weird
I decided to have a peek at your diary Abz, as we seem to cross in a few other ones!! Cant say that I have read through all your diary cause ITS SO LONG and you are a popular laddiieeee!!!
Anyhow, the conversation about the tattoo is one VERY pertinant to me at the moment cause yesterday I had my 3rd laser treatment for the removal of a very LARGE tattoo on my arm. I had it done when I was in a very bad place and totally unconfident, and thought it gave me an identity!!! I am certainly not saying that a small one on your wrist is the same thing Tazzi!!! I only had mine done when I was 28ish. I was the same, had wanted one for a long long time. My stepcousin is a tattooist and he did it. I added to it 3 times and it is a big tribal piece. I HATE IT NOW. I now want to wear feminine tops and dresses but cant cause I just look too butch. So now I am on a long road to removal at €200 a session. I think it may take at least another 10 sessions if not more.
So, at the end of all that, all I can say is your friend was very sensible Tazzi, Decide what you want, and then leave it for a year.
The pain of the laser is horrific, and today my arm is double the size with little blood blisters. Like a very bad case of sunburn.

oh. i meant to say. i went to matalan yesterday and first of all kept wandering into the wrong section, and when i found the right section (seems so strange to shop in the 'normal' bit and not pick up the biggest size) i bought myself a bright red coat. it's awesome. and it's a size 16!! well. i'm not a size 16. not one bit. i'm a loose 18, but not close to a 16. however i assume you are supposed to wear huge jumpers under said coat.

despite the fact that it's a huge 16, i still haven't bought anything in this size for years. so yay :D

Aw you poor thing :(

My friend in London is going through the same thing. She got a tatto when she was a rockabilly babe and hates it now....shes 36. But she wants to get it changed or removed or something.

I have had a few designs over the last 7 years but this is this first one that "feels" different.

Although we did discuss that getting a tattoo should be something NICE....and not something that carries a huge meaning to you, because as you grow older your priorities and feeling change.

Ill see how i get on. I failed to mention that i am a complete baby and hate needles.:)

I just think this one is the right one.

I think it looks lovely. Saying all that I have said, my sister has recently had a few done, and has been sensible as to where she puts them!! She got a lovely one on her wrist, and a back piece, and a few on her legs, but coverupable!!!
I have a gorgeous one on my ankle of a sun with a sort of shaded face. I love it and would never get that removed, but one of the reasons that I feel that I am resistant to my shedding weight is that I still wont be able to wear nice clothes cause of the arm tatt. So cant wait for it to not be noticable any more!! You sound like you are being sensible about it so enjoy it.

hey abz, you brave lady for putting your pics up. i can def see a difference hun, well done :) when i restart cd in jan im gona get pics proper ones and do a before and after!
 
well the before pic was actually taken a couple of weeks after i started i think. the now pics were yesterday, ha.

i still want to try on the top of my bridesmaid dress that i stressed and stressed about not fitting, as it should be really loose by now... but i daren't... just in case it still fits!!

ha. i don't know. it's in my wardrobe and i keep thinking about it and then putting myself off. same with the trousers i'm wearing in my before pic. my decorating troos. i keep thinking about trying them on and then not doing so in case they still fit!! insane i know, but i can't help it!!
 
the first one was taken in july i think... and after much messing around i got to the second pic :) 2st 5lbs down. hang on. have my measurements somewhere... one sec...

arms: 11.5 inches (-0.5)
thighs: 26 inches (-2.5)
weight: 14st 4.5lbs (-2st 5.25lbs)

looks like a lot more when i see it like that :O
