Advice for the PrawnchopSuey

That would be amazing if I got a loss next Monday. Don't want to get my hopes up though. Yep, think Slendertone's getting popped in the suitcase, should be able to squeeze in half an hour on an evening. That's about all the exercise I'll be able to do Tues, Wed and Thurs.

One bit of good news though, I have got my bronze body magic award - 4 weeks of exercising like a crazy woman ;)
Let's aim for silver, think I'll get that before my Club 10 at this rate... :)

I'm sorry about the gain :( I know how unfair it is and it annoys the hell outta me, but I find that my losses slow (or I even gain a little) when I'm making the effort with exercise. I think we just have to keep going, ride it out, and hope it starts working in our favour. Hopefully it will!!
Hope you have a fantastic time in Paris. x

Hey prawnchopSuey!
Congrats on your bronze body magic award! I seriously need to get my booty back to bootcamp!
Sorry to hear about your gain - it's so frustrating when you can't put your finger on the cause - hopefully this will sort itself out for next week!
Am dying to know if the slenderone works for you - we have a Flabuless machine in our gym and I have used it a couple of time but they reckon you have to use it 3 times a week for over a month to see any effects - not quite there yet!

Have a fab time in Paris :D

Guess you won't be wearing your slendertone belt while having dinner with your colleagues then!! Ha Ha!!

Ahh no, your half pound gain sucks, unfortunately that is the way our bodies work sometimes. I bet after Paris you have a fab loss, don't be disheartened, and, to update, I've been 100% on plan and according to my scales (I know, I know) I've put on this week again, still catching up from last week...

Right, aiming for STS this week, will be disappointed with another gain...

:) Monday - green

Breakfast - banana mid morning

Lunch - leftover mixed bean chilli and cheese (HexA)
apple

Snack - fibre plus bar (HexB)

Dinner - Jacket potato with chickpea dhal from a tin (last can gone, phew)
7 Mikados (3.5 syns)
Bag of chocolate buttons (4 syns)

Total syns: 7.5

Well, it was really windy so I didn't go for my bike ride. Have done my 30mins Slendertone and am trying to motivate myself to do the Steps DVD in a few minutes. Still trying to fit in my three sessions this week so I can count it towards my silver award.... So, if I do aerobics tonight, badminton on Friday and squash at the weekend I'll be there :)

:) Tuesday - Extra Easy

Brunch - Fibre plus bar (HexB)

Dinner - Grilled ham (fat removed), pasta, green beans and ratatouille (restaurant so 6 syns for oil in ratatouille and light tomato sauce on pasta??)
Fromage blanc with honey (Not fat free fromage blanc either I imagine so another 4 syns or so? Plus 2 for honey)

Total syns: 12 ish? I hate having to guess when I am eating out...

Did a bit rubbish today as was travelling and forgot to sort out some lunch before I set off, don't know how I coped on that until this evening. Leeds airport is a bit pants for buying food on the go!

Am back at my hotel now, got the Slendertone zapping away at my belly :)

I think you did very well with your choices to say you were put on the spot, :p I'm sure your on your way to a trim tummy and a great loss xx

Hehe... not so good today unfortunately ;)

:) Wednesday - EE

Breakfast - fat free natural yoghurt, apple

Lunch - Pasta a la Putanesca (tomato, capers and olives...HexA for parmesan and HexB for oil?)

Dinner - We had a posh meal out on a boat-restaurant on the Seine...
I had veg gazpacho for starter, grilled perch with crayfish sauce, veg and rice noodles as main, and raspberry cheesecake for pudding. Plus a kir royale and a glass of white wine. Eeek. Don't think it was too bad as the cheesecake was made with fromage frais not cream, kind of blancmangy, but that coupled with the alcohol I'm sure takes me well over my syns for today...

Slendertoning it all off now (wishful thinking ;) )

Christ I wish my job was as exciting as yours!! Most exciting place I get to visit is Bromley!!
Sounds like you had a lush meal last night, mmm... I definitely think Paris is one place where you need to spoil yourself with all the yummy foods and drink

I agree with Sarah83, if you can't eat "well" in Paris, well, theres no hope is there?

Hee hee, thanks for the kind words, but the suburb of Paris where our office is is probably no more exciting than Bromley!! But because we were taking clients out we went on the posh boat for dinner in Paris proper last night!
Trying to be as good as possible but it IS tricky ;)

:) Thursday - EE

Breakfast - apple and fat free natural yoghurt

Lunch - Salad with lettuce, rocket, chicken, tomatoes, cheese (HexA) and croutons (HexB for croutons and oil on the salad - well, it was toasted white bread but tough, I'm counting it!)

Then had a bit of a disaster because I was starving by the time I got to the hotel to change for dinner, so I scoffed all the biscuits by the kettle in my room - oops (4 x 36 calories = 8 syns :( )

Dinner - Pasta with prawns and pesto (4 syns?)

Total syns: 12

Another slendertone session tonight of course :)

....And back to blighty tomorrow afternoon to get straight back on plan with a game of badminton and a jacket potato 'detox dinner' ;)
3 days till WI to try and make up for all this naughtiness!

EDIT - Thought biscuit-gate was 16 syns but then realised only 8 so not as dire as I imagined :)

Well done you've been amazing while away and I'm still sooo jealous of your boat trip... even if it was for work.
Have a safe journey back home hun x

Thank you :)
Yep, it's not really as glamourous as it all sounds, mostly offices and taxis, but it is nice to go into central Paris sometimes for the odd schmoozing soirée ;)

:) Friday - green

Breakfast - apple and fat free natural yoghurt

Lunch - cheese and nut (HexB) salad (4 syns for dressing?)
apple

Snack - fibre plus bar (HexB)

(Binge alert - kit kat AND Twix - aaargh, why do I do it to myself?? 21 syns)

Dinner - jacket potato, baked beans and cheese (HexA)
Minimilk (1.5 syns)

Played badminton too and won again ;)
He is getting better, mind, I might have to have some sneaky practice...

Total syns: about 30, oops, need to get back on track...
