Advice for the PrawnchopSuey

Well done on your loss :) I'm really looking forward to finishing my temp contract and getting back into the exercise routine. My OH's BIL keeps telling me to go at night, but definately don't have any energy left at that time.

Well, today didn't go very well.
Woke up feeling much less snotty but my the time I got to work I had a splitting headache and nausea. I couldn't focus on anything and ended up being sick a couple of times. Came home at lunchtime and have been feeling sorry for myself for the rest of the day...

:) Tuesday - green

Lunch - cup-a-pasta, fibre plus bar (HexB)

Snack - toast (HexB) with peanut butter (4 syns)

Dinner - very small portion of pasta with quorn bolognese and grated parmesan (HexA)
Crusty white bake-in-the-oven baguette with low fat spread (gazillion syns...)

Don't know why I caved to that bread, grrr. Still off the exercise and don't think there'll be any loss on the scales this week.
Feel like poo, got a really foggy head and not looking forward to work tomorrow at all...

Oh yuck, sounds horrid. Hope you havent been sick again, (((take it easy)))

Oh no sounds horrible, and just after you thought you were getting better. I'm sure it's too late to say this now but you're probably much better off resting up than struggling into work - rest will make it shift quicker.

Sounds like it could have been a nasty migraine yesterday, although I've never had one so couldn't really say, but I'm sure I've heard of people being quite sick with them.

Big hugs and get well soon xx

Well I haven't made it into work this morning. Felt OK (groggy, but that's generally how I feel on a morning!) until I got out of bed and then felt horrible and dizzy and headachy again. Really didn't fancy driving and definitely didn't want to feel as rubbish as I did in the office yesterday not being able to focus on the computer screen...
I have had a telephone doctor's appointment and he reckoned it is my sinuses that are blocked which is why I have a pressurey headache and cos it's linked to your ears means you can feel a bit off-balance and nauseous. Just going to try and stay pretty much horizontal all day and avoid doing much. Although it's VERY boring not being able to do much!!
I really am a rubbish sick person - it could be a lot worse than a bad cold so I haven't got too much to whinge about really ;)

Glad you've stayed home - sounds really yucky.
Did the doc recommend you take anything for it?

Hope you get a good rest and feel better as the day goes on

Oh dear, sinus infections are evil! A sinus infection is the reason I've been on those silly antibiotics for weeks :( Do you have any lemons in? Hot water with lemon and honey might help, or maybe lemon and ginger tea if you have some. Maybe a steam inhalation with eucalyptus oil if you have any, that's what my doctor recommended. Hope you feel better soon! xx

Oh no :( Hope you feel better soon. Lotsa love.xx

Aww hun, big hugs, hope you feel better soon, was going to suggest making some nice comforting home made soup, but it may be a bit dangerous lying down? Hehe, get well soon x

Thanks lovelies. I am feeling way better this evening and bored myself to distraction lying down all day, so will definitely be back to work tomorrow...

:) Wednesday - green

Lunch - leftover pasta bolognese, pear, apple

Snack - twix (14.5 syns)

Dinner - homity pie with prawns and tuna (HexB for fish, HexA for cheese)

Glad to hear you're feeling better! mmmmmm homity pie :)

Nearly fainted in the shower this morning, so really did not want to drive! Am therefore at home for the day again, and am waiting to go to doc's appointment later. Grrr, I feel fine when I'm not stood up, so it really is frustrating! It's so boring doing nothing :( Makes me very glad I have a job.

Will no doubt be all over Minimins for the rest of the day then!!

Ear infection! Got some anti-b's so hopefully I'll be right as rain in no time. Feels like I've been off work for AAAAAGES, not just 2 days. Also took Oddsock's advice and have had a couple of steam inhalations with a drop or two of eucalyptus which has certainly been releasing some snot!
I've read the new SW magazine today - I wish it came out every month as I find it's an extra little boost to keep me inspired and to give some recipe ideas. Only found a few things I want to try this time: lentil shepherd's pie, carrot, mexican bake, coriander and butterbean burgers, mini meringues...mmmm

I'm glad you managed to get a dr appointment and hopefully they'll have you feeling good soon. I noticed the butterbean burgers, they sound fab dont they :)

STS this week, which I am pleased with considering I have been over my syn limit every single day and have also done NO excercise at all.
I must get my bum in gear though if I'm to get another 10lb off in 12 weeks for my holiday...Eek.

Still not feeling 100% but am going to restart the shred tonight and see how I feel before deciding whether to hit the gym or not. Going to get my syns back in control this week too and aim for 1lb off :)
