Woah your tea sounds fab :) I'm keeping an eye on your menus for some inspiration!

Nice one on the exercise too morning and evening -woop woop! I've not exercised before work in years as I feel that I get up early enough as it is, but saying that it would start the day off on a high I guess. Perhaps I'll do this tomorrow morning, mmmmm I'll think about it ;)

Well done with the loss and all that exercise!!! Sounds like you're doing brilliantly :D

I love BNS!! Although I bought such a mahooosive one that it took ages to cook through and I have lots of leftovers for lunch today :)

Well, I managed to get up this morning to do day 5 of the shred. THe aching has all but gone now - I can't quite believe it, that by pushing your hurty muscles even harder they eventually stop hurting! I assumed I would get sorer and sorer until I keeled over! In the past, I've always used the aches as an excuse to have a rest day (or two), so now i know that there is NO EXCUSE (Jillian would be so proud ;) ).
I have to admit that I am veeeery tired today though. I think it's the early mornings that are wearing me out, so tomorrow I might save the shred until the evening to get a lie-in of 30minutes more in bed. I'm also a bit peeved because the scales have not shifted a millimetre since Monday morning despite the exercise. I really hoped that pushing myself would give me a lb or 2 off by the weekend so that I could hope for an STS overall after my weekend away, but it doesn't look like it will :(

Going to pick up my new car tonight - woop! :)

:) Wednesday - green

Breakfast - rice pudding (HexA), banana, apple

Lunch - leftover BNS / red onion / spinach / feta (HexA)

Snacks - pear, apple

Dinner - spicy veg couscous with goat's cheese (HexB x 2)
Half a kitkat chunky (6.5 syns - yes, the other half is sat untouched in the fridge, MIRACLE ;) )

Well, when my alarm woke me up this morning I was absolutely shattered and couldn't bear the thought of jumping about in the living room.
So, I shall be shredding when I get in this evening, then promptly scooting off to the gym for a (shortened) session to get some cardio in :)

This shall be followed by a big fat bowl of pasta and an early night - that's the plan anyway :)

How's the new car?
I am amazed at people who do morning exercise - I just love my bed too much! Mind you I'm up at 6am for work anyway so any earlier would seem a bit silly!

Hi Sarah,
I get up at 6.15 to do the shred, so now you've made me feel very lazy that I couldn't manage it this morning!! I couldn't move this morning I was so sleepy, and an extra 30 minutes made all the difference to my day...

:) Thursday - green

Breakfast - rice pudding (HexA), banana, apple

Lunch - leftover spicy veg couscous (HexB for goat's cheese)

Snacks - pear, apple

Dinner - pasta with cherry toms, red pepper, spinach and pesto/fromage frais sauce (4 syns)
Fibre plus bar (HexB)

Did day 6 of the shred this evening, then went straight to the gym and burned 330kcal :)

Thought you'd like to know that you've inspired me- I just ordered the 30 day shred dvd :) Moving in with t'boyfriend in a few weeks and his living room is massive, so I'll have room to try it out, unlike at my house! Should be fun, can't wait to work on the gun show! Haha xx

I'm not selling tickets to my gun show quite yet, but this shredding malarky is strangely addictive!! I think because I have got through the achy stage I am scared that having a day or two off will be like starting all over again and the pain will return! Was planning on having 4 days off while I'm in Milan and starting properly on Wednesday but now I've done 7 days' worth (yep, 7! I got up early this morning!! :) ) I am frantically trying to get the DVD converted / burned onto my netbook (no DVD drive...) so I can take it away with me! Might be pillaging the minibar to find suitable handweights!! :)

On the upside, scales are being very kind to me this morning - woohoo - so I am hoping an STS is still possible après Milan...

Have an amazing time in Milan!!
And I am quite scared of your shred addiction lol!! Hasn't anybody got an external DVD drive you could borrow for the trip?

... I could take my proper laptop which has a disk drive, but it is massive and heavy... which I guess would be more body magic but also a bit of a pain ;)

Scales were showing a massive 3lbs down this morning. God bless Jillian. A shame it will no doubt be shortlived!

Wowee that's fab - keep my fingers crossed for the STS you want on return from Milan. And just think - all that shopping will count as body magic too! Plus all the walking through the airport etc etc ...

No way does that loss have to be short lived! I'm loving your enthusiasm right now, fingers crossed you can get the DVD converted :) Hope you have a lovely few days in Milan!

Buongiorno!

Things are going OK in Italy, but I didn't manage to get the shred onto my computer so will have to restart the 30 days on Wednesday. No problem, it can be done!! I still think I have got my body magic in though as I have done a LOT of walking, including walking around a LOT of shops!! There was a gorgeous dress in the window at Moschino that I wanted but at €800 a wee bit pricey. I got a €20 dress at H&M instead, much more my price bracket!
And today I climbed up steps all the way up to the roof of the Duomo cathedral (photo attached), which has to be equivalent to a few minutes on the stairmaster ;)

:) Friday

Breakfast - banana and apple

Lunch (I ate this at about 10.30 - I was starving! I think I definitely need my rice pudding if I get up and shred first thing!)
leftover pasta, pesto, cherry toms, pepper and spinach (2 syns)
pear

Snacks - apple, fibre plus (HexB), banana

Dinner - quorn burgers (2syns), Rustic oven chips (2 syns), spaghetti hoops
Some Ben and Jerry's coconutterly fair (it had to be tried and was on offer in Tesco - tons of syns an not even that nice :( )

:) Saturday - Green-ish

Brunch - Egg mayo / cream cheese sandwich on plane (HexB and HexA)

Dinner - tomato and mozzarella (HexA) salad with balsamic vinegar only
squid ink pasta with prawn ragu and squash blossom (HexB for prawns)

Stuck to water for drinks but there will no doubt be syns in oil / butter - such is the danger of eating out ;)

:) Sunday - green

Breakfast - yoghurt, apple, bread roll and slice of cheese (HexB + half HexA)

Lunch - ricotta tortellini with tomato sauce (HexA for ricotta)

Dinner - big meal out with colleagues and there's a set menu so I'll do the best I can to limit the damage...

Wow that cathedral looks magnificent - knew you'd do lots of body magic walking around! Well done on your bargain and good luck at the meal tonight x

Woop!! 2lbs OFF for me this week, despite Milan. Well, more like 1.5 but I round up / down to the nearest lb so 2lb it is ;) . I went for good options where I could and I suppose eating smaller portions than I would if cooking at home and having fewer snacks helps too :)

Sunday night meal - absolutely delicious:
Mozzarella and tomato salad, breadstick
Spaghetti with pepper (which was also really creamy but I didn't know it was going to be...)
Steak fiorentine with salad and potatoes
Green apple sorbet
Small glass of wine but mostly water

:) Monday

Breakfast - kiwi fruit and natural yoghurt

Lunch - vegetable quiche, chicken salad, salmon salad, fennel salad
tiramisu

Dinner - Asparagus risotto, Roast seabass with carrots and potatoes

:) Tuesday

Breakfast - pineapple with natural yoghurt

Lunch - couscous salad, white chocolate and raspberry cookie (had to grab something quick to eat at the exhibition in between customer meetings...)

Dinner - aeroplane food: cheese sandwich, chicken sandwich, cheesy bite snacks, shortbread biscuits

Got home at about 11pm last night so was knackered and just wanted to go straight to bed. Back on plan today! Going to restart the 30 day shred tonight and maybe make it to the gym if I can face it :)

This week's going to be another difficult one - I am eating out at Pizza Express on Saturday night and going for a pub lunch on Sunday. Will try to be good and let's aim for 1lb off this week :)

Well done!! Even closer to your holiday target and even better when you were aiming for a STS.
Did you enjoy yourself over there? Your food all sounds absolutely delish, I love Italian food, I could eat it 24/7!

Good luck with the shred tonight
