Todays food changed a little - realised that was about to have way too few calories so upped a bit

bowl of Special K - yoghurty & Skimmed Milk - 172 cals
Strawberry Shake - 138 cals
Special K Bar - 88 Cals
Leek & Potato Soup & L.F Garlic Flatbread- 550 cals

- roughly 948 cals...oooh I really would have been under if I had've gone with original plan.

Must plan in advance a bit more.

Hi Ladies

Bad day again :(

Feeling rubbish today...been to the doctors, have got a virus and throat/ear infection so on Anti-biotics.
Hoping they won't affect the weight too much as still really want to get into the 10's for next week as planned, but I guess there isn't much I can do, I need to get myself well for birthday too.

I am meant to be resting for the next few days but very hard with a little'un running around too.

Foodwise today I have had

Special K yoghurty - skimmed milk
l.f tomato soup + special k bar for lunch
Chicken with l.f korma sauce for tea with v small amount of basmati rice.
1 small treat today - iced finger bun as I'm feeling so rubbishy - have counted the calories, and worked it into plan. It is a choice/decision and a conscious one, so one that I am happy to make.
 
Sorry to hear you're poorly, take it easy and try and relax, which is easier said than done with a little un.

Hope you feel better soon.

Sorry to hear you are ill, I know exactly how you feel and it sucks! I struggled having OH off work yesterday at home with me when I was ill and he is slightly less work than a toddler ;)

Look after yourself and make sure you eat enough to nourish you when you are poorly. You want to be raring to go for your birthday ready to receive all those compliments on how fabulous you look :D
 
8 days to go...

Been reading lots of threads today, trying to get my head around different thoughts and aspects. I'm actually enjoying having time to read through bits before starting my revision again next week.

Feeling very rough today, virus really taking a hold but taking the anti-bios and getting through with lots of tissues, throat lozengers etc.

Food wise today.

Special K Bliss - Berries & skimmed milk
1/2 tin tomato soup - healthy living
Special K Bar
Home Made Fish Pie - made healthily - no creme fraiche or anything, and extra veggies to try and flush out this virus.

Lots of fluids

Just do whatever you need to do to get better, but your food certainly sounds good for today :D I had a monster craving today for fish pie so i'm jealous!

7 days to Birthday...

Still not feeling at all well today. Have been told to stay in bed by OH, but I'm just no good at that, so have got up, had breakfast, and will have a bath soon, just to try and help clear sinus's etc.
Hoping the anti-biotics will kick in soon to start helping.

Haven't thought too much today about food yet, so will pop back on later when I have planned a bit more.

How are you feeing today? It took my antib's about 5 days to really help me turn the corner. Rest and fluids and medicine.

6 Days to go...

Well some good, some bad today.

The good (the brilliant :)) weigh in today at...10 stone 13 1/2 very very happy about that!! I know it's only a smidge into the 10's, but I intend to not be getting any higher, and for me it's a huge milestone to be in the stone bracket that my healthy BMI is in also :)

So this week my loss is 1 3/4lbs - pretty happy with that :)

Bad is that I am still feeling rubbish from this virus, and it doesn't seem to be shifting at all, really trying to keep dosed up etc, but it's hard with a little'un when you feel guilty for not playing with him as much, but in the same light don't want to pass it back to him either - so hard :cry:.

Plan for this week, ideally I would still love to get to 10 stone 12 for birthday which would be a needed loss of 1 1/2lbs in 6 days...achievable, only problem is on antibiotics and throat sweets etc, so this could hinder my attempts , but I also know that I have got to get well as soon as possible too. I can't have any more time off work, and really don't want to be unwell for my birthday, or picking mum up from the airport on Thursday either, unless I really have to be.


As I have been home these last few days, have realised how many clothes I really do need sooner rather than later (though I am really trying to hold off 'til I get to goal, and then my tone up a bit more) but even my comfy joggers that I've had a while and leggings I bought the other week are baggy now, as well as things like underwear etc all baggy and look horrid - hhmmm I may need a shopping spree sooner...liking the look of the jeggings at the minute, but not sure if they will suit my thighs...may have to do a trying on session too x

Congratulations for having such a great weigh in and getting into the 10s that fab....... and well done for losing 6 stone....... It really is amazing..... You should be so proud.

6 Days to go...

Well diary I am waiting for a call back from the doctors as I am still absolutely full of it - my chest is awful. I have hardly slept a wink as I have been coughing all night. Got up at half 1 in the end to get a cup of tea, just to try and help stop coughing as I was driving me mad, and no doubt the OH aswell.

I'm trying to be a bit more positive as I really don't like being negative in all my posts at the moment, so when my little man goes down, I'm going to have a bath, and put some make up on, do my hair etc, and see if I can try and brighten myself up a bit that way, even if I am shattered. I have my shopping being delivered later between 3-5 so I can't go for a walk with my little'un as he will probably wake up just about 2.45 or something similar, but will get out of the house tomorrow instead - weather permitting.
Having a lazy day having the shopping delivered too (in relation to where we live I mean) but feeling as tired and rubbishy as I do, I'm thinking I shouldn't care really, and just get it in and away. If nothing else, at least I'm not sharing my germs with anyone else.

Plan for food today.

Special K and semi skimmed milk for brekkie
Lunch - Special K bar & shake.
Dinner - ...Not decided yet - will have a choice when the shopping arrives.x

 
I'm sorry that you are feeling so grotty and hope you are better soon. But congratulations on getting below 10st.! That's fantastic - well done.

Re the clothes, have a nose on ebay! I have bought some super clothes to see me through my journey and havent had to spend a lot on improving my pathetic wardrobe! I am going to go through it when i get to goal and start moving up the plans and decide on some key items i want from some DECENT shops...i promised myself that i would settle for Ebay/primark etc short term, but not forever! lol

Hope your lazy day is a good one hun! Enjoy your shopping turning up! I love food shopping online now! Much easier!
