Apparently, LL recommend a minimum of 4l per day
I think that LL have changed this now. They recommend (taken from their website)
Lighterlife on fluid intake
"Drink enough to feel comfortable
Make sure you drink enough water to feel comfortable. You may also have black coffee or leaf tea with unlimited tablet sweeteners and two sachets of LighterLife Savoury Broth.

Drinking large quantities within a short period of time can be detrimental to your health, so aim for small amounts at regular intervals. Think of your body as a waterwheel which, to keep turning smoothly, needs small amounts of fluid throughout the day.
Remember, fluid requirements will vary between people, so be guided by your thirst and what feels comfortable for you. Learn to read the signals. Feeling dizzy, having a dry mouth or a headache can all be indicators of dehydration"
Be carefull tho, drinking 4 litres aday is alot! and atcually does you more harm than good because you flush out vits and mins that you need!
Yes. Can't remember whether it's LL or LT, but for one of them, their HQ recommended no more than 4L because it can flush out nutrients and electrolytes etc.
Personally, I'm in the gang of 'drink the minimum, then more if you are thirsty as no evidence has shown more fluid gives more fat loss'. I wouldn't give a maximum, because we all vary, so I always state drink to feel comfortable, because the body is very good at telling us what we need.
There is evidence that extra water can help with fluid retention, so if you have that, the scales will play nicely if you drink more. Once that's gone...well....
Anyway, good luck with your experiment. I've seen them before on here and the results were interesting with some losing less with more water, some losing more, some finding it makes no difference.
It will be interesting to see how this one goes
