Alpaca's stream of consciousness - IS BACK ON THE WAGON!

Ooh yes - spill all:D

i found a magnet bracelet in the cupboard, looks like a watch,
i have it on now,and fingers are a little more flexible.
might try and find one like yours,as thats much more
pretty than mine.

The meet up with this guy was ok.. He's quite nice company but not really my type... He wants to meet again and I need to make sure he knows just as friends but don't want to hurt his feelings

Morning Di, no spark there then, shame that

Evening Di. Shame about the spark but nice to be looking;)
Xx

Evening Di, how has your Monday been? xxx
not the greatest Monday really... came off coffee yesterday and hope I don't have any until I arrive in Belfast on Thursday - will see if it makes any difference although the scales this morning are still stuck.

And, one of the places I work has cut my days down to one - starting next week, so the combo of withdrawal symptoms from coffee and the shock about the days sent me a bit downhill... so I went to bed early - I always find that helps to get shot of the day! lol

So this morning I feel a bit brighter...

Anyway, onwards and upwards/downwards/stallwards...

so, if there's no change now that I'm not having cream or cheese, I really don't know what else to try. It maybe calories, so I might have to count them as well... fingers' crossed ...

strangely I have no urge to stuff my face which would have been my first impulse before... and now I'm remembering the struggles in the past on diets and the slow-down of the loss which always resulted in me throwing in the towel...

x

Morning Di, ((hugs)) it must have been a bit of a shock about losing the day. Hope it brings new options and opportunity.
And hang in there on the diet - the body sometimes needs time - do you know if you are losing inches even if not weight?
Keep smiling
Xxxxx

Morning hun

So very sorry to hear about your days being cut back, will you be able to pick up something else, or perhaps have the chance to enjoy a bit more time to yourself?

Please don't give up hope, you have been doing so well - just hang some of your new clothes around your room and revel in the fact that your hard work means a smaller you that can fit into them.

It might just be that your body has decided to stall you on cream and cheese - Jim and I are the same. Doesn't mean you can't have them, just not as much.

Morning Di, that must have been a shock, but as Susie says maybe you can pick up something else.

Afternoon Di, will you be ok financially or will you need to actively seek something else to fill the time? Must have been a real downer for you, going to bed sounds like a good plan in that case, stops any thoughts of munching............

Hope your stall breaks very soon, you have worked so hard, glad you are not giving in to it and keeping looking for the problem xxx

:hug99: xxx

Evening Di, hope the day went ok
Xxx

Hey miss, sorry to hear yr news.x

Dear Diary... It's official, I am now getting bored of being stuck!

Have had no cream or cheese for 3 days and have gained a pound - I am 16s 13lb... (237lbs).

The positives... I'm not 17 something and I am eating food that I enjoy. And, I'm not going to cave in and eat - because actually, carbs don't appeal to me anymore (at the moment). And, I've just bought a dress from M&S - a dress - wrap-around dress - size 20 - haven't worn a dress in yonks (not sure I have the courage to actually wear it, but it was a very lovely feeling to buy it lol). And have bought a stretchy skirt (size 18) which I will wear with thick tights once I've lost a bit more lol.

OK back to my stuckness... I will need to think of a new plan - but will wait til I get back from Belfast on Monday as while I'm there I shall be drinking wine every day! And I shall re-introduce cream and cheese while I'm there too - cos I can't see the point of depriving myself if it's not affecting the scales.

I remember in the Atkins book he listed a drastic 600cal high fat and protein diet to do for a short time if you're stuck - so will look at that and try it out. Also James posted an egg diet to help kick start the loss again. I'll have to try and find it.

Sorry to moan ... love you all xx

Morning Di, I do sympathise love, it's so hard when you're in a stall

Really feel for you Di, honest I do, so bloody frustrating when you are trying so hard, enjoy your trip away, you just never know it might be a change of routine that starts you off again xxxxx
