Amies Lipotrim Journey

Am still feeling a little hungry but not loads. Managed to drink enough water aswell, bought a really nice candle today to have a nice relaxing bath tomorrow on my day off.
I have a feeling this next week's going to be hard, but I shall survive.

So today im going to turn my hand to cooking. Ive never been a big cook but when I finish lt ive vowed to cook for myself more and avoid ready meals.
Today im trying wrinkled potatoes and mojo (recipe from lanzarote), a diabetic brownie and a normal one. I love both of this so its going to be a challenge not to eat them but I will be strong plus my OH won't let me anyway.

Now to get out of bed and make vanilla shake with coffee.

I managed to walk around morrisons and not crave anything at all even when my OH was buying gorgeous smelling ribs and eating them in the car. Made both batches of brownies and didnt crave any of them so this ketosis thing must be working well. Just canary potatoes to go and I will of succeeded in my cooking goals.

Urghh. Up really early today to take OH to work while his car is moted so I went to work 1 3/4 hours early. Got shop set up and tried to sleep for an extra hour.
Had a headache for the past 3 days and dont feel all that great today on top of the tiredness and being at work. Put lots of coffee in my shake to hopefully wake me up and going to take a paracetamol in a bit to try and cure the headache.

There should only be one 5.30 in a day!

So after a long and tiring day I get to do it all again (minus the ridiculously early morning) tomorrow.
Dont feel as bad as I did earlier, I had a little nap while OH was playing football then cooked him a nice chicken and prawn curry for his tea.
Im really getting into this cooking business even bought a recipe book from the charity shop to try.

Hooray I can now pm and see profiles, didnt realise id written that many comments/posts.
So after a small weigh in this morning on my own scales as ive been doing this a week today I started at 13st 2ib last friday and this friday I am now looking 12st 5ib. I was amazed! 11Ibs lost in just 1 week I couldn't believe it. Will have my official weigh in on tuesday so hoping for another 3ib by then for a 1stone in 11 days.

Early night tonight I think and a little lie in in the morning, well deserved too.
Haven't drank enough water today at all and decided to do a vanilla shake hot with coffee for breakfast. Never again it was horrible I couldnt even finish it. Hoping for a total 1 stone loss by tuesdays weigh in. Throws me off a bit because although ive been doing it a week today I changed the day to tuesday so my starting weight there is 12st 10Ib whereas my old starting weight was 13st 2Ib so had lost 6Ib before I even started. Weighed in this morning and had lost another 5Ib since Tuesday weighing in at 12st 5Ib. Only 3Ib away from a stone.
I may keep my own friday weigh in sheet for myself.

Im not a huge fan of chocolate, much prefer the strawberry one. Vanilla is better with coffee in, I tried to do it hot yesterday but it was disgusting.

I haven't tried the strawberry one yet. Had one chocolate one but found it really sweet. I used to love the soup but I think I had too much of it, used to have 2 a day. Back on 3 vanilla for a while hehe xx

I love the soup so might try 2 a day. I also want to try the flapjack things too not sure if I can have them though in the 2nd week.

Not even hungry today having to force myself to have the chicken soup and even then im still 1 shake down.
Have made a sugar free victoria sponge cake for my mother in law and a chocolate brownie for OH. Been busy busy today.

One thing I cannot wait to eat when all this is over. Grey peas and bacon!!

So my aunt and uncle have come to visit from canada and today I have found out my aunt is on pretty much the same diet as lipotrim set by her hospital. Only difference is she can have a meal every so many days as long as its under 300 calories. Ill know more about it tomorrow when I go to see them. Small world ay. At least im not on my own.

Wednesday we are going for a family meal and ive decided on a carvery meat and veg nothing else with water to drink. There is also another option but im not sure going to play it safe with the carvery.

Another successful day and closer to my first proper weigh in on tuesday (although ill actually have been doing it 11 days and not 1 week) looking forward to seeing how much ive lost. Moving pharmacy really confuses things as I have different dates I started on a friday but changed on the tuesday so I will of been with them a week and my old one 4 days. Confusing!!

Heres me rambling on again. Thinking of trying flapjacks aswell if I can they cant honestly be that bad I suppose.

So heres to another successful day, I honestly didn't think id last this long without giving up but im still going strong just having to hold things for 1 day. May just have 1 shake for breakfast and then my meal I think 2 and a meal may be too much but im not sure.

Soooo 1 week on in my new pharmacy and 8Ib lost. All in all 1stone so damn happy. This makes everything worth it.
Going for a meal tomorrow so meat and veg for me plus water. Quite nervous about eating as I havent done it now for 11 days. God knows what im going to be like on a refeed. I feel quite scared about the prospect. Will see how I get on tomorrow, but for now Goodnight.

I just know today is going to be a bad day. I really didnt want to get out of bed this morning, this diet has made me so tired its unreal.
Feeling quite down about everything today especially work but this happens every so often. I feel fed up, not valued and like i no longer belong. I think, again, it may be time to look for a new job but I have no idea what to do or what id be good at. The hardest part is finding somewhere that will pay what im on now or more. I dont know anymore, will probably just keep plodding along as usual.

For every high I have in life, like yesterdays weightloss, the day after I get really low and upset. Bizarre.

Im now back from the meal I had water and a small kids carvery of turkey, corn, cabbage and carrots and couldnt even manage it all really struggled to be honest. Hope this doesnt affect my weightloss although today I had 1 shake plus this meal. im also quite a nervous eater now but on the plus side I know when im full whereas before id of had a large carvery with extras and a dessert plus a couple of pints. Definitely surprised myself today.

Today has been a really hard day. My first sunday off work since starting lt. Whike everyone sat there eating dinner I had a vanilla shake and my god It was not the same. My favourite dinner of pork too with yorkies, I love crackling aswell which isnt fair as the dogs ended up having it. Today is the first day where I really feel I missed out on something. Also went to the pub yesterday night and stayed on water as a designated driver. Wished I could of had something like diet coke or even better a cocktail or 2.
Times are getting tough and only finished 2nd week on Friday.

I really dont want to be on this too long now, I miss food. Also have a party on the 2nd which is going to be no fun.
Have been looking into what to do when I finish this. Im thinking atkins or maybe back to ww. Hmmm not too sure yet.

Currently finding this so difficult. I miss food so much and would kill to eat anything. Having 3 shakes a day is also hard. I dont know what to do, im just miserable all the time. I want to stick it out but dont know if I can.

Don't give up, you've already gone past a stone so must be on your way to the next one by now. I feel like giving up too but then I think is it worth it, as it's only for a short period of time then I can eat again and will also have a nice new figure to go with it.
