Debs, I would guess its pronounced Eilish? But can't be sure cause in Irish names there is niamh 'nieve', and siobhan 'shivon' and you would never guess from the spelling.

Good guess, but not quite . We usually say its like ceilidh without the c. You know, a ceilidh dance. Or Hayley without the H.
Siobhan always makes me smile. My Dad used to be a messenger at Standard Life and he had post for a Siobhan. He went into the office looking for See-o-bhan. Siobhan said, oh you mean Shivon and my Dad was like, no See-o-bhan. She said, yeah thats me and its pronounced Shivon. No way says Dad. I think he has told everyone he knows that See-o-bhan is actually pronounced Shivon as he is so confuddled by it! lol
