for some reason i can't see the pics anymore? will log on from laptop later. what is your goal weight vicky?

think i have successfully worked out my bmr and tdee figures. if i have did it correctly i should be eating 1407 cals per day. from tomorrow i am going to give this a bash to see how i get on in terms of feeling hungry etc. not sure how i would work out the calories on my frozen home made spam

9 6 i think. I did want to get to 8 7 but I think that's too much cos that's over 2 stone. I think I might get lollypop head if I do that. Im going to concentrate more on cm than my weight. We have got rid of our scales and im just going to measure again in 3 weeks. I know what I feel like in myself n if I dont feel im gonna be wear I want I might do a vlcd again because I want my wedding dress to fit properly. I have 8 weeks until my wedding and 3 1/2 until my hen do. I want to feel good at them both x

Hey ladies!

Well done Kim this maintaining malarkey is the best weight loss plan ever haha ;-)

Nice to hear you are OK Donna - its always hard around Easter with all the choc!

Interesting to see the pics, I might go take some in a minute!

Deb I think we are pretty similar shapes - tummy and thighs carry my weight too. You certainly don't look dumpy just need a bit of toning and I am sure Jillian will help with that!

I agree Vic you have a lovely tiny waist. Its just about doing what's right for you and if you think a vlcd is what you need to feel good for your big day then go for it, it's not like its going to be long term diet.

Just finishing my lunch then shall attempt pics! X

Ok so here is my food intake for today so far

Breakfast
35g of crunchy bran with raspberries& skimmed milk
Cuppa tea

Lunch
Chicken, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, sweetcorn & small squirt of mint sauce.
Toffee muller light
Fruit bag(apple & pear)
Cuppa tea

I've just bought a fridge jug & bottle of sugar free cordial n I've put it in fridge ready. It holds 1.5 litre n I'm planning to drink it this afternoon/evening

Later will be having egg & SW chips & beans I think or might make a pan of quorn bolognese as this can be used through week after work or even taken to work for dinner

Vicky, you have a lovely figure & if you keep up with the exercise Im sure the wedding dress will fit perfectly. As I said above to Deb, eat a healthy balanced diet i.e SW & CV work & you will tone up lovely.

Its funny tho that we all seem to have our problem areas around our middle.....maybe its a stumpy short person thing lol!

Dont forget tho Deb, your BMR may be 1400, but you have to then add in the amount of exercise you do to get your TDEE & then get a deficit of 3500 calories per week to lose a pound. So, you can work your TDEE from the formula below.

Harris Benedict Formula
To determine your total daily calorie needs, multiply your BMR by the appropriate activity factor, as follows:

  1. If you are sedentary (little or no exercise) : Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.2
  2. If you are lightly active (light exercise/sports 1-3 days/week) : Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.375
  3. If you are moderatetely active (moderate exercise/sports 3-5 days/week) : Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.55
  4. If you are very active (hard exercise/sports 6-7 days a week) : Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.725
  5. If you are extra active (very hard exercise/sports & physical job or 2x training) : Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.9

Braved some pics! To be honest i am only couple pounds from target and happy with most of it apart from tummy/love handles.
Got 2 weeks left of my c25k running program (should be finished but had 2weeks off the gym coz of lurgy and overtime at work) once thats over will concentrate more on toning up. X

Laura I am SO jealous of ur figure!!

Been thinking over stuff n cant afford to do a vlcd anyways. Just gonna cut down the carbs so do more red days ish and keep up with the exercise.
Spoke with my gym and they are fine with me going in with a sling on :)

I think we all carry it there or appear to carry it there because we r shortis :) it shows a lot more x

Ladies, not sure if this will be any help to you all, but since I called target at 8st 11lbs, I have slowly lost weight since then & the only thing I have done differently is to follow the Extra Easy plan with an extra HexB. I am enjoying this so much more as it feels a more natural, sustainable way of eating as its healthy & more importantly a balanced way of eating as you are getting healthy carbs & proteins all in a day

Its so funny coz we all have such similar figures! You girls are all a lot firmer than me, as Im a bit flabbier than all of you as Im a tad older lol!

that's what i did though i can't see your calculation..it said to deduct 20% from tdee figure?

Aww thanks Vic but I would love your tiny waist mine barely goes in at all lol!

Kim that's basically simply filling that I am doing to lose weight lol maybe that's why you keep losing? As on it all the main red and green foods are free and you get as much of the heb stuff as you want within reason (so all wholemeal bread products, bran flakes, porridge etc) x

Laura you do look great. your legs look really toned. good for you!!!
