I nearly didn't weigh this morning as feel really puffy and bunged up! All these drugs are playing havoc with my digestive system and I'm having to take other drugs to counteract the effects of them lol! So, was up half a pound which doesn't concern me as I've been on plan all week, stuck in hospital yesterday, sedated and the poor body is out of sorts! I feel as tho an American football team have been jumping up and down on me all night, but feel quite good otherwise, just have to take it easy for a few days.
I did mainly Red last week with not my full quota of syns, so going to eat the full 105 this week to see if it makes any difference.
Hubby bought me a lovely present yesterday for being a brave soldier.....the Rick Stein India book. We've been watching his programm on BBC2, so he's cooking me a lovely vegetarian curry tonight. It will be a little syn heavy at 10 syns per portion, will be well worth it hopefully.

Was thinking about what you said with the healthy eating - i have been following sw but only to a point the past few weeks if am honest. Maybe an extra healthy extra being thrown in here and there and not keeping an eye on syns as much as i should be but not too sure that i am majorly going over on them that much either. On a friday i do make an effort to wipe the slate clean and count them but i know that iam not eating big family bags of crisps, pizza etc so i know what i am doing is right. It seems to be working for me just now so will probably stick to this way of life unless the scales dont move. I would say i am being 98% sw friendly, just need some tightening up here and there. Back on my pill soon so it will be interesting to see what happens.

Do you just do Red days? Why not try mixing it up a bit with some Green and EE and try upping your syns to 15 per day. How big are your portions? What have your losses been lately? I would also keep a diary and document every little thing that you consume, but apart from that it all looks good but not a lot of it!Will try to remember what I had!

Breakfast frozen berries & fat free plain yogurt
Lunch ham & cheese sandwich (hex's) melon & apple
Dinner grilled plaice broccoli & carrots
Loads of NAS squash all day
Syns 35ml brandy (4)
Freddi bar (5)
Wednesday
Breakfast porridge plus milk from allowance
Lunch egg salad
Dinner grilled chicken & salad
Evening snack alpen light
Syns 2x freddo bars
We had potato, onion, carrot and green beans as per recipe but you can use any veg. When hubby cooks a recipe for the first time he follows it to the letter, cos you can then play around with later, but to be honest nothing needed to change, but any veg would be gorgeous in it.Mmm what's in the curry Kim it looks lovely? When do your schools stop Donna and Vic is it this week? Up here ours finish earlier and start back sooner so the kids have all been off a couple weeks already I think? Fun summer ahead for you hopefully!

Deb that's amazing running is doing wonders for you! Well done! I wouldn't worry about extra bits of food. If gains happen then is time to reconsider being a bit stricter but the reality is that you can eat things that aren't necessarily strictly on plan sw wise and still lose as its still within your calories for the day especially with exercise burning some off. And one of the best things I learned from swapping to simply filling when I did is that extra "healthy extra" type foods wont make you gain. I did it for months with unmeasured bread/cereal/milk etc and it works! So just go with the flow keeping sw as a framework I think is best for you.
Loss today of 0.5lb. Had a nice picnic and wine last weekend so not a bad result back at 9st 3lb which been at several times over last few months but never seem to get lower lol! And that will no doubt happen again as friends hen day/night is tomorrow. So excited! X
