Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

I'm being horrible and not taking little one.... my mum is going to take him away though. We're thinking of trying to find an adult only hotel as with us not having him I'd feel horrible if I saw other kids (I did when we went to Scarborough for the weekend and there was a little boy sat on the table behind us) also it's a bit more luxury not having other people's children about. Yeah first time trying any on, it was great :) I've paid my subs for running club today as well... I need to start driving the new car so I feel confident driving it on my own to get to club. We're about the same weight now, what are you wanting to get down to? Well... I said I didn't think I'd find it, but I think I did... The first dress I tried on was lovely, then all the other dresses in that shop were rubbish and I hated them, I tried the first one on again and tried a veil on, it looked great. But we went to the other shop and they were all gorgeous. There was on in particular which made my body look amazing! So in two weeks when my bridesmaids are up I'm going to take them to another shop and then back to the second shop to try that one on again and then my second favourite from that shop... and if I still feel the same I may be putting a deposit down. It's a lot more expensive then I wanted to pay, but I get 20% off which takes it to a bit more expensive then I wanted to pay, but she's throwing the alterations in free and if it feels as amazing on again as it did today then it will be well worth it. Because it looked and felt so good I'm wondering if I should only try and lose half a stone rather then a stone as it gave me some lovely curves and I don't want to lose that effect

I want to finally get to my 8st 13lb target! So not too far to go about 17lb now. Going back to group on Monday and doing a big food shop so we can get Millie into healthy eating too.

We decided to take Millie because it will be her first proper holiday and they have a babysitter if we fancy a night out! Xx
 
Sorry I`ve been AWOL the last few weeks!!

My head really hasn`t been in the zone recently.
Haven`t read other posts as I`m to far out of date.
We`re going awaytomorrow morning for a few days,
will be back Friday. Will do my best to get back on plan
when we get back!!
 
After writing that post I ordered some new trainers on ebay, they were neutral which is what I need and £40 so not too much of an expense (compared to the £120 I had to pay for my first pair) so will have to get back into it now otherwise I've wasted that money :p

Might enter a race as well to give me an extra push :)

I have just ordered a new pair of runners myself Donna. First new pair since my marathon but I bought two pairs for training but I am starting to get tightness in my calves and shins now. I also signed up for my first race since the marathon too. It's a 10k this Sunday. I have got terribly slow though but I signed up to give myself something to aim for.

Im sat in Day Surgery waiting for hubby as he's having a procedure. ...drove me nuts this morning as he was nil by mouth which isn't good for a strapping 6 foot bloke who loves his food lol!

I'm still 100% on plan & willing my blubber away, but it's sooooo slow! I'm cursing that I went to pot late last year & now I'm paying for it!

Kim no point in beating yourself up. Take some credit for your hard work especially as you have been poorly, inactive and after losing Charlie. Its been rubbish for you so stop cursing yourself.
You are capable of losing its just your medication that is hindering you.
Start some lovely walking each day, if you can, and stay focused. Life is too short x

Thanks Deb, you are so lovely as usual & speaking words of wisdom. I really cant seem to manage on the lower dose of neuropathic painkillers, so I will just have to put up with a slower than normal weight loss!
You're right, I should get off my arse & do some walking.....its getting warmer so it will be a bit more inviting to go out. The place where I would go walking is where I used to take Charlie, so I feel a bit emotional to be honest & it puts me off going :(

Hubby is fine thanks, just hasnt stopped eating :p
Thomas is a gorgeous little man and doing well, but keeping his mummy on her toes as he's a hit of a pickle at night!

Been back to group tonight and it was a 7pm group so weight in was 10st 4lb which is spot on considering I'd eaten breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks. So happy with that. Xx
 
Ladies I don't know what to do :/

I love the dress I tried on this weekend and honestly can't see me not putting the deposit down on it when we go back in a couple of weeks.... but now what do I do about my weight, I thought I had a stone to lose as that's what I've gained... but if I lose a stone will I lose all the shape I had in the dress? :/

But if I stay how I am, will I look back at pics and think I look fat because I have been slimmer in the past?
 
Donna if the dress is perfect as you are then take the pressure off and concentrate on maintaining.
I remember killing myself trying to loose last few lbs and when I look back now on my pictures I realise I was perfect as I was.

That was 10yrs ago tomorrow!! We are going away tomorrow night just for the night. My hubby works at weekends so it worked out better to go midweek.
 
Hello all, hope you're all having a good week so far. I had a weekend away and put on 1lb, which isn't too bad I suppose. I'm amazed how difficult I find it to pick up the motivation again, today's been a real battle! Yesterday was a battle too, which the party food from my daughter's party won!

I think I might concentrate on just eating healthy and toning up.... I'm loving my exercise at the minute and will be back into running soon and just see how it goes. Might even end up losing weight if I'm not fussed on it lol, as long as I don't gain

Can be 100% again this week so no excuses and sometimes it takes a week to catch up. Going mix my hexb's up cut out the couscous so different lunches and take each day at a time xx

just take it easy on the excercise kim. I hope this isnt too insensitive but would you consider a new dog in the future? i know its not that simple or easy as you cant replace charlie but is it worth considering?

Great news about the baby - the thought of a new born fills me with dread haha
