Anyone tried or is doing shake that weight vlcd?

Ha ha Jeanette killer! Am very lucky that way I have very dark brown hair on head (dads italian gene)and the hair on arms legs etc is very fair (thank you mam's gene). I dnt need to get waxed as underarms and legs get shaved and lasts bout 3 weeks before they have grown enough to shave again. :) dark eyebrows and lashes but again slow growth too: :)
 
You are lucky, if i shaved would have to do every day, as my hair (when not dyed, as i have gray roots:eek:) is normally dark brown and grows very quickly :D Even my eyebrows are long, have to cut them :D
 
Yay we have heat! Hot water x fab x man was really lovely and said with wind some dust from chimney had clogged the pilot light. As I thought. My fire is really awkward to get into to relight it. There is a reset button on the side but as it was the pilot light he had to take fire out of surround.

Bless he even made a fuss of Clyde and said it was ok to to leave him in the lounge when he was working. :) not many workmen let that happen! Not that Clyde is vicious far from it he is so docile and gentle plus he doesn't bark as he has no vocal chords. Just snuffles and snorts x
 
Ah what what a nice man lol. Poor Clyde, no vocal cords? he looks a softy. Glad that you have heat, just put heating on for an hour, in July!!!!!!!!!!!! been living in toilet today, so hopefully.............:D

Not in ketosis, tried this afternoon. not had much, only one shake a day this week, for lunch had Granary toast (400g loaf) with 3 small slices wafer thin ham, and 3 cherry tomatoes. cut up small to last:D am having chicken fillet, 2 small potatoes and cauli for tea, what do you think, to much carbs? am trying to add food, but not go over the top.
 
Jax Glad you have heating can't believe I'm saying that in the summer! I just put some washing out as was clear and a little sun, now overcast! The heating engineer sounds really nice,not many workman would have animals in the room!
Jeanette , sounds about right to me. You are being very careful! Even if you stayed the same weight it would be good. A fresh start when you are back from hols.
Back on shakes today, decided will go a week longer on shakes and start refeed 2weeks before I go away as can do third week in France.
Jax when are you going away? And when introducing food?

What date are you going away? 2 weeks today am going to Torquay (Devon) for 5 days, then when i return on Friday (12 july) am off to Ibiza on the wed (17 july) for 2 weeks, will need to go back on it then :D
 
Jeanette I think the minimum of carbs for keeping weight loss going is 25gm according to Atkins induction. So why dnt you have a look into that. Def wouldn't be bread/pots in it tho plenty of veg x

We go away 25 aug for a month Pink. I'm going to introduce end of July/start of August.

To tell you both the truth am actually dreading eating on Wednesday. I just feel that I am cheating I just want to stick to my shakes til it's the right time. Unfortunately my friends already booked the table:(. I know it's just a one off just worried how it is going to affect my weigh in on Thursday :(
 
I'm going on 21july for six weeks. I always put weight on when on hols,too many good restaurants and delicious wine!
Jax hopefully if you choose carefully you will be ok.
i will restart at the beginning of September, going to stay with shakes as I find them ok.
we all need to stay on this forum so we can keep in touch. X
 
Pink am not bothered bout bread until recently and wine just doesn't interest me saddo that I am :(

I'm really good food wise on holiday as I just eat Greek all the time. Plenty of meat and fish hardly ever chips lots of salads downfall FETA cheese and baklava! :)

Apart from last year I used to run every morning, swim and go horse riding. That used to work off cheese/cake. We have huge BBQ and friend who goes fishing everyday so plenty of home cooking. Tend to go out every few days for meals. As we have so many friends there we have them over and we all chip in with bits.

We have been all over but kassiopi is our second home. We love it. X
 
Ha ha carbs that's why athletes eat bananas but they are good carbs. It's processed carbs that are the bad ones. X
 
I do enjoy a glass or 2of wine! This year going to go for steak or fish with salad all lovely where we are! Please don't even start me on cheese! I just love it! Going to have to be very careful on holiday !
 
I agree with you about the carbs, am going to allow myself bread every other day, as if i don't add it in gradually, when i go on holiday i know i will have some and there will be a big jump in calories then.

You should be ok Jax on wed, sometimes its a few days before it registers on scale. Lol at doing shakes 45 weeks a year, just to put it all back on holiday :D

Am also going to try to stay off the carbs, or just have a small bit every day or so
 
If my memory serves me right (not often) am sure all root veggies are pretty high, also pulses/rice and most flour products.

Have you tried pumpernickel bread? Or the dark rye bread? It looks very dark flat and square shaped. (Scandanavians/germans love it). It is very dense but a better option and you can get it all over (Spain inc . I like it but one slice is very filling and def takes the edge of wanting bread for me. Not easy to make sandwiches with tho, infact don't try! But if you need a liittle something carny with a salad try it.


Tom however can eat the whole bread basket with butter or olive oil with wine before his meal! Greedy guts :)
 
Might try that for breakfast now again on holiday, thanks. not a big lover of potatoes, pasta or rice, can take it or leave it, now bread.......................:D Had a piece of toast today, i was in heaven, you would think it was caviar or something :D
will avoid pasta and potatoes etc, and try and cut back on bread.
 
I love crackers of any kind are they any good? I'm defo not doing shakes for 46 weeks
! I think that would drive me crackers!
i think if we all take it carefully when on real food we will be alright! It's when you just eat,it becomes difficult and if you do go straight back to healthy eating! We are sensible enough to do that. Well we should be!!!!
i beginning to think that you are both right about scaring people off, we seem to be the only ones posting! X

I like crackers as well, ( might be because i am crackers lol) crackerbread though, as lower in cals only 20 cals per cracker, cream crackers about 40!!!
 
I defo think we are crackers or nuts!!! But I enjoy the banter with you two like minded nuts! X
