Asda Chick Pea Dahl is Back

Eekkk - this is a staple for me, I really hope it's still free. I already made the mistake of buying 4 tins of the Sainsbury's vegetarian ravioli thinking they were free!!

I liked the new one as much as the old and it is still free checked it on the syn calculator.

I had the new one today and did notice a slight change in the taste but its still nice and if still free still something good to have in the cupboard which is good seeing as I bought 6 cans of it last week!

I found the chick pea dahl in Asda today - been missing for a few months. It's got a different label but is still 77p per can. The Asda website is still showing the old label so I hope they haven't changed their receipe

I have just had it tonight & really didn't like it

Its a really vivid colour now too - thats what first alarmed me. Hubby popped it in the pan so not sure if its all sloppy but I def won't be buying it anymore

I tried it for the first time last week in the mushy pea curry and it was lush. Will bf buying some more.

I agree... very disappointed with the new one.. I couldn't eat it all it tasted awful bring back the old one
