B_44s food diary

He is indeed. Although I do remember once I went round there and he had made another curry, we started to eat it and I thought it tasted a bit odd so I enquired about the recipe - he had marinaded the chicken in curry paste...and cheese?! Lol, weirdest curry I've ever had.

Green day today

Breakfast: scrambled eggs with baked beans and cheese (healthy a), latte (healthy a)

Lunch: mugshot (not a fan at all but easy for work) with added broccoli, ryvita minis (healthy b)

Dinner: quorn chilli with Mexican rice, vegetables, possibly a few wedges

Extras: Special K chewy delight bar (healthy b), galaxy bubbles

Syns: 9

Change of plan for dinner! Went out for a mexican meal. I've never been out for Mexican before, it was ok but nothing special. I had a vegetable chilli with baked rice sour cream, tortilla chips and refried beans. Probably about 100 syns but you know what, line drawn and straight back on it :)

Mexican is my favourite food! It's a shame it was nothing special if you used all those syns :(
Get the line drawn - tomorrow is another day x

Green day today

Lunch: jacket potato with baked beans

Dinner: lentil bologneise with spaghetti, spinach and 45g mozarella (healthy a), 2 m&s mini wholemeal sub rolls with 1 laughing cow (1 syn) turned into garlic bread

Extras: yoghurt, vanilla latte (3 syns and healthy a), Special K chewy delight bar (healthy b), galaxy (12)

Syns: 16

Thankyou. I can't wait for dinner, it's a bit sad how excited I am lol, I love spaghetti bologneise!

Dinner was very nice, I mixed the mozarella in it and it was really nice and gooey

Bit of a bad day today as we're going out on a (very!) non-slimming word picnic. I could have made up some sw stuff, quiche, smash scones etc but I didn't really want to. I just want to join in with everyone else, enjoy myself and then draw a line under it because I know that I can do that now. I have a challenge tomorrow too (pizza) and before I would have just a 'Sod it' weekend but not this time. I will make good choices where I can but also enjoy myself :)

Hope you've had a good day and enjoyed your picnic.
I love sw as a diet, but I do think it's very tricky to do and have a life away from the normal day to day, don't you?

Thankyou, it was lovely.

Yes I totally agree! It really is the thing I find it hardest, fitting sw in with a normal, everyday life. Even just going out with a friend for a coffee is hard because you have to use a healthy extra, syn some milk etc and I think it does get in the way of life, particularly socialising. For example, having a spontaneous night out is pretty much a no no most of the time isn't it!

I'm glad you agree tho, like you say I do love sw as a diet but its so difficult not to let it rule your life and finding that balance. It's hard but we'll get there!

Yesterday was totally off plan in the end but I'm ok with that and really pleased to be back on the wagon today.

not long woken up and A lazy day at home so lazy/easy food to with it :) green day today

Does pasta work with mushy peas? I love both but have never thought about having the two together.
You've got me wanting rice pudding now :)

I have pasta with mushy peas quite often lol.... Few mushrooms added and bob's your uncle... Nice and filling and plenty of superfree.... Gotta have cheese on top too... Mmm xx
