Baby Charlie has arrived so lets get on with shedding the rest of this wobble!!!

Oh yeah I work from home so no worries about making a fool of myself! Obviously not ideal in an open plan office though!! :8855:

Oh yeah I work from home so no worries about making a fool of myself! Obviously not ideal in an open plan office though!! :8855:
Ahhhhh now that makes all the difference :p..I had visions of the whole office looking at the crazy women in the corner at her desk with her legs tied together:8855:
Well Folks we have had our dinner and then taken the dawg for a walk -so Im pooped now :p
Dinner was yum - the Tuscan chicken I did last week and froze the extras, I swapped the steamed potatoe and had a jacket instead..it is deffinitely on the "to do again" list only next time Im using chicken breasts not thighs as stated in the recipe ;)

This was lunch -doesn't 37g (should have been 42g but I won't quibble :D) look a lot when grated ..... has everyone tried the cathederal city lighter ? it is lovely and creamy....and not wussy...and the drizzle of balsamic realy finished it off mmmmmmm

and of course -my ever faithful brekkie -I swear I would eat this as a pudding

So then folks today apart from all the cleaning I have done I have clocked up 7,750 steps :D
Right Im off to eat my 150g of peach n maracua quark like a good Swimming world girlie ... then I will have used 5.5 syns ...see I have started off well -lets see if I can make myself use at least 5 syns every day -*NO EXCUSES*;)
Have a good evening all and sleep well ;)

Goooooood morning one and all :D

We have another scorcher on the cards -so I have been out and cut the grass before the full sun hits it ;)- when I have finished on here and phoned my mum I WILL go and make a start on sorting the spare bedroom *if I come back later and haven't at least started-please yell at me*

Well my meal plan for today is:-
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • 2 bacon
  • 2 eggs -scrambled
  • fresh tomatoes
  • peach
  • melon
  • roast chicken
  • lettuce
  • cucumber
  • tomato
  • celery
  • pepper
  • gherkin
  • pineapple
  • melon
  • *same salad as above*
  • 227g jacket potato (B)
  • cottage cheese
  • creamy yogurt (8)
  • 2 ryvita (B)
  • 42g low fat cheddar (A)
I was doing hubbies chicken salad for work this morning so I have plated one up for myself and stuck it in the fridge -saves faff later ;)

We are nipping shopping later so I will stick the jackets in the remoska before we leave and they should be done by the time I get back and have put the shopping away ...ooohh I like being organised :p
I really shouldn't need much shopping *famous last words* :8855:although they have pineaples on offer at 99c and they are the super sweet ones I always have AND they have cherries @ €2.99 a KG -they have been €6.99 a kg -so if they have any in I think I might end up with 2 of each nomnomnom...
Right I will get off and callmum and then make a start on that bleepin bedroom
Have a super day everyone and keep at it...

Morning Capricorn

2.5lb off for me this week, need another 0.5lb to crack my challenge and also my stone award for next week. Ticker says different I know, as lost 1lb in the 2 days I did SW at home, before going to group. So not counting that yet.

Mmm, those pineapples sound yummy, are cherries a sf fruit? AS they are starting to sell them cheaper here and did wonder.. I will look in the book and see.

Well done on doing all those steps yesterday again, i'll be doing mine tomorrow, aim for 7000 anyway 3 times a week and if I do more, then all the better. Funny though, I was walking much more the week before and only lost 1lb, so cut back a little, not meaning to as such, but the heat makes me feel so lathargic.. and this week a better loss. Hmmm, I wonder why that was!!

Sticking to mainly red days with perhaps 2 or 3 days at the most EE this week, and hope I can loose the same next week.

Enjoy your day xx

just popped by to say hi,you are doing so well on your exercise go you:D.
loving your menu's as always.
have a nice day.xx

Good evening all

Nikki -well done on that loss :happy036:...see -"what do your scale know?" ..leave the b*ggers in the shed with the spiders :8855:-hope you have another good week...
Hi Surreygal -I am becoming one of those that I always considered a "strange creature" -someone who is loving exercise  -Im sure it will wear off eventually :p

Well folks the shopping is done for another week *well apart from fetching water in the next couple of days;)* -I was a "tad" naughty -well you see, it was like this *hmmmm tries to think of a convincing excuse* -Now I know I have plenty of meat in the freezer , but well you see I happened to pop into the naafi and well they had 2 of those Tesco "just cook" I think they are called -Lamb joints in minted gravy -and well blow me down if they didn't leap into my basket as I went past..and I didn't spot them until I was at the checkout  ..... whoopsed from €9  to €3 each -not bad at only 12 syns for the whole thing. Oh and of course they had the lovely lean smoked back bacon on BOGOF €2.59 for 2 packs *so 6 fell in my basket* -but Im sure that as fellow "slimming worldies" you will appretiate that they are classed as necessities :D
"other" than that I was good :8855:-didn't have too much choice as I was allready playing at jenga in the fridge/freezers (lets see how much we can wedge in)
So Im topped up with milk/eggs/fruit/salad/veg....so Im all set to go :sign0151:
We didn't get our walk tonight as it was threatening a storm (that hasn't appeared yet) -but I have clocked up just over 4000 steps so far 20 mins on the wii, cut the lawn and made a start on fettling the spare bedroom -oooh and done the shopping -so it will do for today...
I still need to fit in my :-
2 ryvita (B)
42g low fat cheddar(A)
AND a creamy yogurt (8syns) :8855:
so I will make a start on that in a moment...
here are todays meals...

right I reckon Im off -will get my cheese n ryvitas and then see what I fancy doing...
Sleep well everyone....

:wavey: Evening Capricorn!! Just thought I'd pop bye and say hello so you know I haven't forgotten you.

I've been back on the wagon for 3 days now, so I hope it shows on the scales by the end of the week! You're still doing brilliantly and as for all that exercise - wow!!! I'm getting withdrawal symptoms as my Zumba teacher is on holiday (how very dare she?!?!?), but she'll be back next week, thank goodness!!

The NAAFI has obviously changed since I was in Germany - we didn't get any Tesco stuff back then! Makes me feel really old!! I remember that whenever anyone had any visitors from the UK, or went home on leave, there was always a shopping list involved, which always included Waistline low fat salad cream (don't know if you can still get it now, but it was the only one back then!), plus large jars of Marmite!! Mmmmm - I love the stuff!!

Anyway, that's it for now. I shall be going to bed soon cos I've got work tomorrow :-(

Bye for now and KTF!!

Love, Tracy xxxxx

Hi Tracy

Glad you have got back into the swing of things -pinkies crossed for your weigh in :cross:...
I have looked at zumba on line and wow it looks fun ...I was going to get the DVDs, but Im gonna hold off until I have lost some more..*I have the co-ordination of a flipflop*... Imagine a human being in a giant washing machine on fast spin -and thats me :8855:.....
The naafi is supplied by spar/iceland and tesco mainly now... ours isn't very big so when we go to the golf course I tend to got to that one there.... to be honest I try not to use it as I like most German products (plus the Naafi can be soooo expensive).. but I do check it out for whoopsies or things like tha bacon (can't really get that in the german shops) ... When hubby or his mates have to go back to the UK in the cars or minibusses -they get shopping lists ;) -I have 3 huge jars of marmite left  -but it has to be home made bread, cut thick and toasted, slathered with organic butter and then a good layer of marmite ..so as you can imagine -I don't eat it now
Hope you have a good week...

Well folks...get me... I have just been upstairs and finished fettling the spare bedroom and gave ours another quick tidy whilst I was wielding the vaccuum cleaner :D...

Today my meal plan should be :-
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • 2 bacon
  • 2 eggs
  • tomatoes
  • peach
  • melon
  • pineapple
  • stuffed +rolled beef steak (1)
  • carrots
  • cabbage
  • peach
  • grapes
  • melon
  • pineapple
  • cod
  • 198g steamed potatoes(B)
  • carrots
  • broccoli
  • cauliflower
  • parsley sauce (2)
  • 150g fruit quark (4)
  • cereal bar(B)
SO that should be all my 1A+2Bs and 7syns :D
I don't normally have 2 warm meals -but as I promised -Im starting to work my way through the contents of my freezer -well its a start :8855:plus -hubby is playing 2 rounds of golf today -so Im not sure what time he will be back, so that lunch should keep me ticking over until dinner ;)
Well Im going to get off and get my brekkie -have a lovely day everyone:D

Choccy button -ya gotta love marmite mmmmm:8855:

right Im off to have a squeeze in my cereal bar and my yogurt whilst watching big bang theory
have a great night folks :D

So, another day begins -and it looks like being another scorcher :p
Righty ho then-my Red meal plan for today is:-

  • 250ml semi (A)
  • 28g porridge oats (B)+ryvita
  • banana
  • mixed berries
  • melon
  • pineapple
  • 2 eggs
  • lettuce
  • cucumber
  • tomatoes
  • celery
  • peppers
  • kholrabi
  • carrot
  • gherkin
  • 150g fruit quark (4)
  • home made beef burgers
  • 42g low fat cheddar (A)
  • 227g jacket potato(B) -wedged in :-

so that should be my A+Bs and 5 syns used.... dinner just has to be a super tasty affair with THAT on my plate mmmmmm
Well I extended my SW online subscription yesterday -which will take me to the 18th January 2011 - then I will no doubt need to extend it again... if I work on the assumption that my weight loss will slow to an average of 2lb a week then I can drop another 4st by then.. which will take me down to 13st 1.5lb -which be the lowest I can remember being in years :D -although I will still have a way to go :p. I may lose quicker or slower than the 2lb a week -but OFF is OFF -so as long as Im heading in the right direction I will be happy enough ;)
oooohhh I got my bronze body magic award :party0049: -don't know why I didn't start working towards it right from the start -anyway -Im now going to work toward my silver -I'm allready do enough exercise to go straight for the gold -but I want them all :8855:

Right I will get off and make my brekkie -my fave -porridge with nana and berries
Have a wonderful day everyone and keep on going..we are getting there :D

Good morning Capricorn

Mmmm burgers and jackets, sounds lush.. I made some at the weekend and loved em.. went down well with family as well. But did find that eating them cold next day weren't as good, lol.. But still added to my salad,

We did similar steps yest, am aiming for 7000 3 times a week, but got it down to 8220 yest and need to walk the similar route again today to Post Ofice, so hoping for the same steps too. It really does boost your losses doesn't it..

I think 2lb a week is a good steady loss, if you aren't in a hurry to get there.. and I'd be happy with that as well, if I didn't have a hol in 36 days time, lol.. So I'd like at least 2.5-3lb a week without resorting to the Cambridge Diet Route for a week before I go away. But we shall see.. Its only a temporary measure for pre hols.

Well done on the Bronze Body Magic Award honey, you should be at gold by now with the walking and wii exercise you do, so i'm sure now you've got bronze, gold will be a few weeks away ;).

Enjoy your day xx

Hi Capricorn,
Just wanted to pop on and say hi :) I've just found your diary today and have really enjoyed reading it. Your weight loss is an inspiration, and I feel very motivated to plan our meals a bit better.
On the Wii, I love the Biggest Loser game - you can really feel it and it's good fun. Highly recommended.
Hope you don't mind me lurking in future x

Evening folks....

ellebear -you are sooooo right about marmite ... all the talk of it has made me turn my potato wedges into marmite ones -and nommy nommy nom nom they were too
Hi Jiblet -what a great loss you have achieved :happy096:... feel free to lurk away -and pop up and chatter whenever you want :p. I have found that planning all 3 meals works brilliant for me, it means I eat more balanced and I never crave anything because I can pencil it into my meal plan :D
Nikki -I love the burgers cold (but hubby reckons Im freaky that way as I only ever ate sausagerolls, pasties cold too mmm)
I think I have finally accepted that it took me years to put this weight on, so I can't expect it to drop off in a few months -Obviously I would love to lose more than 2lb a week but "anything off is a step in the right direction"
I bet you are ready for your holiday --how long are you away for?

Well folks -we won't be walking the dog tonight as hubby has only just got in and the dog seems a bit off colour..so luckily I have done lots of cleaning and done 40mins "just dance" and Im up to 4600 steps so far -so not too bad...
So here are my meals for today :-
old faithful mmmmmmm:-

lunch:-

and burgers with marmite wedges and home made coleslaw....

I will be having 150g fruit quark later and then I will have used my A,Bs and 5 syns (cor I can see my halo shining :8855:)
Right folks that is me done for today... have a great night all and hope you can sleep in this stiffling weather:eek:

Hey Capricorn. You're doing so fabby!!! Go you girl! I have also been 'lurking' haha.

Your meals look so delicious- im slightly jealous as I never seem to have the time to make lovely meals ike yours and have to whip up something quick. But you do still inspire me to try out new things AND get my bottom off the couch/computer chair!!

Keep it up hun! xx

Mmm marmite wedges.. sounds yumm. I did cajun ones tonight with my HEB, steak, chicken and a pork and apple sausage (1syn). Felt stuffed, but then jumped in the fridge and have a huge pack of pineapple now, lol..You coleslaw looks so nice too, will have to give that a go.. well done on your wii, 4600 steps is brilliant from just doing that. Phewwww.

I'm going away for 2 weeks to Grenada, prob told you dozens of time's where I'm going now, lol.. I find myself telling everyone lately. Can't wait. Yes, 2lb a week is good to loose on SW and achievable too, plus.. easy to maintain that sort of loss as well. I'll be straight back onto it as soon as I get back from hols, as not getting back into the Fat Body I'm slowly shedding. Taken me a while and work to look the way I did, lol.. so gonna take some time to get rid of it too.

Night Capricorn x

Morning Morning Morning :D

Yet another nice day in the offing it seems :D.

Hi NikNaks.... I appretiate that I have more time than many to spend in the kitchen :secret:*shhhh though because a lot of what I do is really quick* . You are doing great -especially with the whirlwind social life you have...I would be a wreck if I had all those parties and outings to navigate:eek:. Keep up the great work Mrs
That sounds like a well earnt rest you are going to have Nikki -2 weeks in the sun -mind its hot enough here at the moment. Lets hope they have loads of scrummy salads and fruit for you to fill up on along with the occasional ice-cream/cocktail "or 3" ;)

Well folks it is sweltering here allready:rolleyes:so the patio door are swinging off their hinges..

My meal plan for today should be:-
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • home made coleslaw mixed up with :-
  • 42g low fat cheddar (A)
  • 2 bacon
  • lettuce
  • cucumber
  • tomatoes
  • celery
  • peppers
  • carrot
  • gherkin
  • kholrabi
  • melon
  • bolognaise -made with :-
  • extra lean minced steak
  • onions
  • garlic
  • carrots
  • celery
  • peppers
  • mushrooms
  • passata
  • herbs and seasoning
  • 198g steamed potatoes(B)
  • broccoli
  • cabbage
  • carrots
  • 56g frozen peas (2)
  • 150g cherry quark (4)
  • 1 cereal bar (B)
Good lord -that lot looks like a shopping list :8855:-hubby will be having his bolognaise on spaghetti -I have opted for potatoes as they are much yummier than the whole wheat pasta Im expected to have as a HEB :yuk:

We will be nipping out when hubby gets back from work this afternoon/evening -I want to do a fruit n salad top up, I don't really need it right now but Hubby is golfing this weekend (plus I try and avoid shopping on a Saturday ;)) and then he goes away early Monday morning until Friday evening and then he is on duty on the Sunday... and as us SW folks know -i can't risk running low on any of the essentials :8855:. I have 48 X 1.5lt bottles of fizzy water on stand by :p.

Hopefully (depending on how niknaknooed we are when we have finished shopping) we will get a walk in this evening -but just in case I had better get on the wii --
I did 40 mins "just dance" yesterday -gawd I end up a righty sweaty puddle  ...
ooohh oooohh hubby said there was a package on his desk for me *lots of use there isn't it* ... Im Hoping that its my wii racket sports game -I ordered it because I use the wii sports to play tennis but Im THAT GOOD :pthat Im better than the computer players -so even when I win them 3 games to nil -I gain about 6points ... so pinkies crossed it is that... if not then it will be my EA sports interactive and EA sports more workouts :D -guess who has the exercise bug

heck I don't half jabber on :8855:-right I will get off for now-have a great day everyone and keep up the good work:D

Good morning Capricorn

Loving your jabbar luv, lol.. 48 bottles of fizzy watr, do you think you might be in for a draught :8855:?

Mmm bolognaise on potatoes, like it on a jacket too. Having seafood pasta tonight, my only EE day left now til WI day, and I must say Red Days are definately fat burning days, judging by the scales in the shed (the spiders :silly: let me hop on this morn) and after a day of EE the night before I had STS, but this morn, had lost a little. I will leave the little bleeders alone now til WI day :)

I dare say I will be haveing a few cocktails, I'm not bad with food on hols, it is the cocktails, but will worry about that when I get back and back to SW Red days for that week to get rid of it, lol. On the wagon to slimville again.

Baking hot here today, woke with my hair wet.. what a right site I must have looked :roofles:.

Right off to for a shower, have a good one Capricorn. x
