Baby Charlie has arrived so lets get on with shedding the rest of this wobble!!!

OH. MY.

I don't think you need to buy any more meat until you move back to the UK!!!! :)
I think you could be right  -especially as Im quite taken with green days at the moment :silly:... so there are at least 2 of those a week....
Im going to meal plan again for next week and "try" and start working my way through it all ;)

Capricorn! I've just laughed myself silly looking at all that food. :giggle: Well we know where to come when the world ends I guess.;)

Good morning ladies :D

Hubby was home at 6:30 this morning, and has now gone back again to "hand over" and should be back about 10ish -then we are contemplating going a walk round the golf course ;) -To be honest I really can't be ar*ed :giggle:BUT I will think of Sundays weigh in and just bite the bullet and go.
I think today will be an EE day....
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • apple
  • banana
  • 2 egg omelette :-
  • mushrooms
  • onions
  • peppers
  • salad
  • activia intensely (2.5)
  • fresh pineapple
  • spanish rice with chicken and chorizo (2.5)
  • activia intensely (2.5)
  • raspberies, blueberries, cherries
So thats my heA and 7.5syns used and my heB and 7.5syns left to use.... my meal plan may alter as Im not sure what time we will go out/get in -so the omelette may get left out -we will see...

Oh my god!!

I have a huge chest freezer, and second fridge in the utility room with a big freezer and a big freezer in my kitchen fridge...will i tell you what I have in mine....

chest freezer - one chicken and one bag quorn mince and half bag mixed veg,

utility fridge freezer - bottle of cow's first milk in case we have a calf whose mother can't feed it and

kitchen freezer - ice cubes and half bag frozen berries....

I am so envious of your freezer --- never thought I would ever say that to anyone!!

Take Care, happy eating TB

OMG  I thought I had loads in my freezer until I read your list. :D

You'll certainly not be caught out if you get snowed in this winter :rotflmao:

*shuffles in shame faced* OK I confess I seem to have a problem :p. I may have added a few bits to it today -but now Im done..honest I am :D
I think I can blame my mum -she has to keep a good stock in too ....so there you go -its genetic :D. We both freak if we don't have at least one spare of everything

Well we went for the walk earlier and so my meal plan changed completely :p -it has ended as a green day :-
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • 1 apple
  • 1 banana
  • 2 egg omelette with
  • mushrooms
  • onions
  • 42g low fat cheddar (B)
  • fresh pineapple
  • 1 apple
  • home made wedges (0.5)
  • mushy peas
  • 2 quorn burgers
  • activia intensely (2.5)
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • 1tsp camp (0.5)
So thats 2A+1B and only 3.5 syns used... so I need to use my other B and some syns later -although I haven't had my yog or coffee yet .....
I didn't get around to sorting out the cupboards today -couldn't face it -so if I can convince myself I will make a start tomorrow, hubby is at a golf competition so I can get a good run at it :cross:. I have started sorting out some meal plans to use up what I have :giggle:

Prawn -cheese is fine to freeze -its just a bit crumblier when its defrosted... I freeze just about everything if Im being honest ;)

right I will get off and catch up..have a lovely evening all...

*crawls in on hands and knees* -ok -well I went and did it :D I have just finished sorting out the food cupboard and the food in the basement :patback: -and now after much clambering up n downs steps and up n down the basement stairs Im niknaknooed -so I thought I would post on here and then collapse on the sofa and turn my lists into some sort readable thing  -lets just say there is quite a bit .... BUT THEN Im going to be good and do my meal plans -attempting to use as much as I have first...
well due to the cleaning I have managed an apple for brekkie and now I have gone past fancying any lunch -so will have fruit/yogurt .... anyhoo -my meal plan for today is EE and looks like this....
I may well end up sticking the list on here so I can keep checking stuff off -please feel free to ignore it *unless you can't sleep and counting sheep won't work* :p
  • apple
  • pineapple
  • activia intensely (2.5)
  • banana
  • Spanish rice with chicken n chorizo (2.5)
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • 1tsp camp (0.5)
So thats my heA and 5.5 syns used, so I need to find a way of using my heB -so I might "buy" some cheese later and have ryvitas with it for supper :D
Right Im off to crawl on the sofa..will be back later
Have a lovely day everyone :D

Good luck for your weigh in, though I'm certain you won't need it :D

:party0049: -good morning world ....
Im now in the 13s :woohoo: 2lb off for me this week so Im at 13st12lb ....so I guess clambering up n downs those steps yesterday helped :p -well I haven't been to the gym or anything this week :nono::copon:

Im having a red day today and so far it looks like this:-
  • apple
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • lamb leg steak with rosemary and onions
  • home made yorkshire pud (2.5)
  • carrots
  • nobbies
  • cauli
  • broccoli
  • raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, cherries
  • activia intensely (2.5)
  • 3 seedy ryvita (B)
  • cottage cheese
  • beetroot
  • cucumber
  • tomatoes
  • peppers
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • 1tsp camp (0.5)
  • activia intensely (2.5)
So thats 2A + 1B and 8syns used - I will think of a way to use up the other B later.. ooohh in fact I guess I could have 4 ryvita and count it as 2heB without adding too much bulk ;)-will see how hungry I am later...

I have got a big bowl of baguette dough proving at the moment -Im going to make some baguettes to do hubby a few lunches with some home made soups and I will use some of it to make hubby a pizza for tea tonight...

Im still trawling through my magazines for recipes -I have an ever growing list of meals -plus I have synned them as I have gone, so once I am done I am going to have to do hardly any thnking when Im menu planning -I do like making lists  -all I will have to do is play eany-meany-miney mo -and pick 7 out a week and then I will be set :happy036:
I don't have much else planned for today -but tomorrow Im going to have a "blitz" day and thoroughly bottom the spare bedroom -now THAT should burn some wobble, well thats the plan ;)
Right I will get back to my list making :p
Have a great day everyone and kep up the great work :D

Well done for getting into the 13's, that's fantastic! You're so focussed it puts me to shame. Can I borrow some focus please? :giggle:

Hellooooo Laura..thankyou :D -but ecky thump you have lost loads :happy096:..
I have just picked up your PM so Im about to go and PM you back ;)

Well folks I have just had dindins and OMG nomnomnom...
I don't know if anyone uses Tesco -if so I can recommend these :-
Tesco Lamb Leg Chops (2 per pack - 350g) in Tesco | mySupermarket

Now it says 2 per pack -but if you look at the bag there are 4 (and there is in mine) -they are nice n thin and only have a strip of fat a bit like an elastic band around the edge (I left min -even though its the best bit :wave_cry:) .... we have just had ours done with onions and rosemary in the remoska and they don't leave that greasy film on your mouth ;) -PLUS you lot can get em on offer *we don't* -so yours will work out at 50p a steak :happy036:..
OOOHHH and Im :bliss:at the moment as I made my usual yorkshire pudding mix and only used half in the remoska (when I use the full it touches the lid so I have to let the heat out so it shrinks back down) anyhoo -this way I poured in half the mix and it ended up just as high as the full mix-so it only cost me half syns for the same size piece -twas just lighter :rotflmao:

In case anyone wants to try the mix I do its :-
yorkshire pudding recipe

makes 2x8"= 5syns per pud
  • 50g plain flour (9)
  • 1/2tsp english mustard powder
  • 1tsp salt - you might want a little less than us
  • ground black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • approx 100ml milk -I use my allowance
then just whallop it all together and beat any lumps out -don't over mix as it stops it rising.
Then stick it in the fridge to stand until needed (I make my mix first thing in a morning) when it comes to using it you may need to let it down a little -use ice cold water..

Now I cook mine in the remoska - just rub 1/4tsp oil around the deep pan and switch on to warm up... then add HALF the mix (approx 100ml) and switch on and well-wait until its cooked :p -I just cut it in half for me n hubby so you are looking at just 2.5syns each
I don't know about everyone else buy I can easily "con" myself with things like that -afterall -the yorkshire covers half my plate just the same so Im satisfied, same as when I make my own tortillas -I make smaller ones so I can have 2 as my brain registers 2 as having to be more than 1 bigger one :p
right enough waffle -Im off to get on with my recipe finding..
Have a great afternoon all......

:party0049: -good morning world ....

:woohoo: Congratulations sweetie, but do you realise you've done yourself out of 1.5 lbs on your details? 13 st 12 lbs is only 194 lbs not 195.5 so you are even closer to goal :p I wish I was so close but I've got my head down this week and I'm doing pretty well.

I'd love to see what recipes you come up with next - I always think I'll do some of them, but then I fall back on to the regular stuff I know I can do :D Might have to have yorkie pud though as I do miss it ;)

Take care hun, JJ x

:happy036:Thanks JJ -don't know how I messed that up -but nowt suprises me... I have been and altered it now :woohoo:

Im coming across all sorts of recipes, its looking pretty good for me using up some of my supplies -which is a bonus :p ..
Its strange, but I went through phases of wanting a lot of the meals I always loved, but Im finding my tastes are changing so much that a lot of my old faves just don't do it anymore  and some of the new stuff Im doing would never have appealed to me before -yet Im loving them :D
This list Im doing at the moment is taking quite some doing BUT once its done *as long as I don't lose it* its going to make planning a doddle :party0011:
Hubbies bread is in the oven -god it looks good and heck have they puffed up -I have taken the organic butter out of the fridge ready too, so that should keep him happy -Im hoping to put 4 out of the 6 in the freezer (they are HUGE :p) so I only have to make 1 batch a week-I don't want to be giving him bread every day;). There is 400g dough left to make his pizza -although he is ofering to make his own "I dread to think how much salami he will fit on"
Anyway -I had better go and check the oven... have a great afternoon all.....

Congrats again on another great loss!! Thanks for the yorkshire pudding recipe, I had been meaning to ask for it. Can I divide it into oiled/frylight muffin tins as well? My kids love filling their yorkshires with mash, chicken and veg. How long would I cook for and what temp? Thanks TB.

Thankyou all :p

Good morning one and all - *look at me on here nice n early*.... Its a lovely dry but sharp day out here -hope it stays dry, but I doubt it will
Anyway I have got hubbies chilli under way in the slow cooker and I have had my brekkie, oohh and put some bedding into wash and so now Im having 5 mins with a cuppa before I venture into the [STRIKE]chinese laundry[/STRIKE] spare bedroom:p, where I will make a start on fettling
I was a busy bee yesterday -as well as hubbies baguette/cobs (which I managed to get 4 huge ones in the freezer :D) I made a big pan of soup and ooohhh nomnomnom it was leek, squash, chicken stock and a de-seeded red chilli -cooked and then blitzed .... oh wow it is so velvety n smooth -so now I have a 1400ml jug in the fridge so that is some lunches for this week and the rest Im going to portion and freeze *if I can find room*

Well then -hubby is having chilli -which Im not overly keen on so Im having an EE day that looks like this:-
  • 28g oats (B) +1 ryvita seedy
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • banana
  • 12 speed soup
  • apple
  • activia intensely (2.5)
  • 8" yorkshire pudding (5) -using up the mix from yesterday
  • 1/4tsp oil (0.5) -to roast :-
  • carrots
  • onions
  • swede
  • turnip
  • raspberries, strawberries, cherries, blueberries
  • activia intensely (2.5)
So thats my 1A+Bs and 10.5 syns, Im trying to use more syns up and well -a yorkshire pud seems a good way to do it :giggle:
Trixie -Yup you can bake them in the oven -just heat the oil first and bake at 375/190 for about 5 mins and then drop to 350/175 for about 25 mins until golden -well thats what I used to do, but if you have any cookery book you can look up what temp they use....
right I will get off and make a start on the spare room -
have a great day everyone...
