Baby Charlie has arrived so lets get on with shedding the rest of this wobble!!!

Good morning all -another blinkin freezin cold day here again :gen125: and it keeps trying to snow

Hannah - I used to love cooked brekkies when I first started SW -even though I swear if you have to take the fat off bacon then it is no longer worthy of being called bacon :giggle:(explains my weight I guess -I used to love fatty meat mmm)... now I just find them too heavy so I pretty much have fruit n yog or porridge n banana/berries .... I could eat porridge any time nomnomnom....
I hope having something a bit more substantial held the hunger at bay for you :cross:..
I think a lot of us will understand that feeling of "I have failed so many times -Im going to do it again" but remember that as long as we are still trying -we haven't "failed" -that only happens when we give up trying .. so no failures here :party0049:.... and just think -summer will soon be here again :D - my main problem in summer is all the soft fruits... Im like a human waste disposal with that stuff and I know there are worse things I could love but it soon adds up when I can sit with a tub of peaches, nectarines and plums and eat em in one go  -- *I will show restraint this year - I WILL* :faint2:...
Its not suprising that moving home has thrown your routine -tis the devils job... I know it sounds bonker but we are due to move sometime towards the end of the year and I have started sorting and boxing allready (although I have alarming amounts of stuff ) :silly:-Im having a right good sort out and every single item is getting listed according to what box it is in, each box has a reference so I can find things straight away -when ;). Im putting stuff on oneside to carboot and stuff that is tat is staight in the recycling pile....
Hope you are having a good week
Jim  its getting closer  -I have made some beaded bookmark last night -just hope they sell :cross: how are you doing ?having a good week I hope!!
Nikki -thats bloomin expensive isn't it :faint2: -Im hoping to get as much weight off as possible before we leave here and then Im planning on getting my name down for an allotment back home (need to phone today) -THEN hopefully that will be plenty of exercise -for no cost and lots of fresh air and yummy fruit n veg to boot :D
Thanks Gail -twas a shocker, but Im ok :D. You are right -I see SW as a way that I can easily eat for the rest of my life so even when Im at target (and we WILL get there) I plan to keep on eating just the same :fingerscrossed:

Well my dinner changed last night -I made the curry sauce and just knew I wasn't going to enjoy it so i only stuck 3 chicken breasts in (hubby loved it) so he has it for lunch today and a portion for the freezer.... I got the other breast and wrapped it in foil and sprinkled over some ketjap manis over and steamed with a big pile of cabbage -it was gorgeous :D...
so then -here is todays plan....

1A+B and 15 syns
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • 28g oats** (B)
  • banana
  • 1/2 grapefruit
  • hm lentil+chickpea soup (0.5)-using gammon stock
  • 1 ryvita **

  • broccoli
  • cabbage
  • activia (2.5)

Right I had better get off for now.. have a lovely day everyone and keep up the great work :D

Morning Capricorn

Yes, the gym is way too expensive and when you don't go, its wasting so much money.. But im on a contract which doesnt end til May. Having said that, when I do go, its my tranquility.. gym is huge, good classes and a pool in the eve, thats dimmed that if feels like you are swimming in candle light.. Theraputic. So I'll keep makeing the effort to get down there as much as I can while I can. Just need to get motivated more, which I am so lacking at the moment with waiting for the results from an interview.. Will snap out of it!!

Loving your dinner tonight, pasta carbonara.. mmm sounds yumm xx

Oh wow! I'm so glad I found your diary Capricorn!!

I'm only 3 weeks in to my SW journey and you have just given me SO many ideas my head is fit to burst!!!

Thank you :) xx

oooohh noooooo that could be very messy ...
Glad some of my rambles have made sense ..its very unusual :D, How are you finding SW so far? feel free to come and natter on here any time you like ;)
Nikki - If the gym does you good and gives you a bit of "me" time then its money well spent . I put my name down for an allotment for when we move home.. I rang today and there are 35 people waiting in front of me :sigh: -so we are now thinking of looking into buying another house with a good sized garden instead -finances allowing of course.. I love getting out and growing things, I love being out in the fresh air, thats why I like going around the golf course with hubby as I spend all my time watching the deers and other wildlife... much better than being in a gym :D
How long have you got to wait for the results from your interview? -its torture isn't it!!! As soon as we get back Im going to look into become a SW consultant -if they will have me and I think I can make it pay... I can then pick hours to suit me too ;)
We weren't that keen on the carbonara we found it a bit "mehhhh" sort of lacking something -so we will stick with my easy cheesy veg pasta -dead quick and really tasty..tomorrow I will be swapping our dinner as we are desperate for jacket potato, cottage cheese and salad ...
Anyway I had better get off again
sleep well all and keep up the great work!!

ooooohh surzy -I have just seen your losses so far -thats a brilliant start you have got off to :party0011:

ooooohh surzy -I have just seen your losses so far -thats a brilliant start you have got off to :party0011:

Ooh thank you! I'm really proud of my start!!
Got a long way to go - but my 30th is less than 18 months away and I want to look fabulous!!

YOur journey has really given me hope that SW is the way to do it :D

Morning Capricorn. Hope you are ok. Usually see your early morning post, you must be shopping :)

AS you are the Red Day Queen I know on here.. I need a few ideas. Doing Red Monday to Wed, and meals for eves are ok.. just need some ideas for lunch, that I can take into work with me.. What ever you have?

Thanks xxx

My pack's arrived!

T-shirt, balloons, and lots to read - including the kit list

A bit scary!

I haven't had a chance to read it all yet, but I'll give it some time over the weekend.

It means it's really happening, though!

Life is not like a bowl of cherries. Or a box of chocolates. It's like going for a curry.
What you choose to do today might burn your ass tomorrow.

Love it Sarah!!! :)

Morning all -got here eventually.. hubby comes home from PT to get changed and have brekkie, by the time he has left for work again its time for me to ring mum..now Im all caught up again :D
oooohhh Sarah -I thought we got the T-shirt when we met up for the trek.. mine will go away until then as I was optomistic and put myself down for a medium :giggle:
Im glad there is a kit list as I may well set hubby on "accquiring" what he can from the army , he was going to see if he could get me a "camel pack" one of those bags that you fill with water and shove in your backpack and then you have a tube so you can drink handsfree -well they cost about £18 -if I have to carry bottles of water I will need to buy a donkey to carry it.. I drink enough when Im sat on my backside :p .... once I get the list I will see what hubby can get and if he can get any doubles ;), I know that if they recommend walking poles I will get them out here as they are much cheaper -well every little helps :D
Surzy -you are doing great -you will look stunning in time for your birthday :bunnydance:
Nikki -do you have access to a microwave etc or does it need to be cold stuff?
well folks -todays meal plan has change an awful lot :p as I want to use the soup up I made and then we really really want jacket spuddlies, cottage cheese and salad for dinner nomnomonom -so it looks like this now:-

So thats 1A+B and 11.5syns covered :D

well I got quite a few more mobile phone/purse charms made yesterday I will try and get pics loaded (if the bleepin thing will co-operate ) so I can get some feedback -I like them -but that doesn't really count does it :D... I just hope they sell... really need to get some funds raised-its creeping up on me isn't it
Rigth I will get off and get some more done.. have a lovely day all and keep at it ;)

I got a Medium too - I haven't tried it yet, cos I didn't open it till I got to work. But it looks a reasonable size. *Gulp*.

How long are you going to have to wait to get your pack sent to you? Because if you want me to scan & send the kit list or anything, just PM me your email address, and I'll happily do it.

It's exciting! But scary. And the thought of how much money I have to raise is a big *GULP*!

Just managed to get the bloomin camera to do as its told... not great pics mind, I will get some better ones....but here is a quick snap of what Im making to "hopefully" sell on for a few pennies towards the sponsorship.. you can click on them to get a bigger pic....
I have lots more to make, at least I can do them sat on my bum watching TV :D
Can I have honest opinions please ... Im thick skinned :p -they fit on mobile phones, purses etc... Im planning on pinning them all on a board so the light hits them as they are all crystal and glass,,, even if I only get €2-€3 each for the "dangles" and hopefully a little more for the bookmarks it will all help :cross:
Sarah -my brother is posting me my bumph over tomorrow so i can wait thanks -he offered to scan it too, but I will be patient :p -I can't see me getting into a medium T-shirt yet :p
Raising the funds is quite  isn't it... but we WILL do it... not sure how,, but we WILL :vibes:

right I had better get off and get something done.... nikki I will post a list of foody ideas later on when I have scratched my head a little more :D

Gooooooood morning all

Im back :D -we have been for a walk... lots of up hill, down hill through the woods -need to get the practice in for my trek ... it was lovely even if it is -6 here :gen125:.... so 2hrs and 12000 steps later and Im home again! We really enjoyed it as it was lovely n quiet -only saw 3 people :D -so hopefully that will have wobbled off a couple more ounces ready for the morning :vibes:
Anyhoo -our meal plan has changed *suprise* :p -its the jacket potatoes fault ..they were yummy last nigth so we want them again :D
so then my day should look like this:-
  • 28g oats (B)**
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • banana
  • frozen cherries, raspberries, strawberries
  • 1/2 activia (1.25)-will eat these in a moment whilst I wait for lunch ;)

  • roast chicken
  • cabbage
  • carrots
  • nobbies
  • peas
  • sweetcorn
  • 250ml semi (6)
  • lychees
so thats covered 1A+B and 7.5 syns -I need to get my meal plan for next week sorted today and other than that I plan on sitting on my bum making some more beady things and reading magazines *ahhhhhhh bliss*
have a lovely day everyone and keep at it :D

Good morning all from a VERY :gen125:me... tis sooooo cold.....

Anyhoo -Im reporting in with another 1lb gone :party0049:... Im happy with that as apart from the walk yesterday I did NO exercise all week :nono:... and now hubby thinks I have tendonitis in my right achilies.. all I know is that it bloomin hurts :sigh: - I have had a dull ache all week -hence no exercise -but me thinks me agrivated it yesterday trudging up n down hill *oooopsy* ... that side is weaker anyhow as I once got hit with a sheet of glass there and ended up with 32 stitches and damage to that area -so its a wee bit dodgy :sigh2:
Anyway -on to a new week and Im thinking of mixing n matching the plans this week ;) -well I can't have my body knowing what is coming can I

so then -today will be RED and should look like this:-
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • fruit
  • 1/2 grapefruit
  • 227g jacket potato (B)
  • cottage cheese
  • lettuce
  • cucumber
  • tomato
  • red/yellow/orange pepper
  • onion
  • tickled cabbage
  • tickled beetroot
  • mixed berries
  • activia (2.5)
  • 1/2 grapefruit
  • salmon fillet
  • 1/4tsp oil (0.5) -to stir-fry
  • carrots
  • onions
  • peppers
  • mushrooms
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • fibre plus (B)
  • berries
  • activia (2.5)
  • lychees
so then I make that 2A+B and 5.5 syns .... it seems going back to red-seems much more to eat :hmm:
well I had better get off as we are having a ride out to the naafi as they have swapped there yankee candle offers over and they have strawberry frosting and fresh cut flowers on offer at 2 for €25 (and I haven't got any of those YET :p) -ooohh and they have my "cherry blossom" which I love -and I only have 1 spare stashed -so I "might" be a little naughty and get 2 of each :giggle:
When I get back I need to get on with making some more jewellery bits n bobs.... I should have a decent stash soon....just hope I can sell them
right -of I go for now.... have a lovely day everyone and keep up the great work....

Well done on the loss today:D

Your phone charms are lovely, i'm sure you will sell them no problem.

xx

Hi Capricorn! Well done on losing another pound!!! :D Sorry to hear about your achilles and hope you soon feel better. Your disagreement with the sheet of glass sounds horrible!!!!!!

I'm off to London this week to take my actual bookkeeping exam on Wednesday and I'm dreading it after doing so badly in the mock. :( If I fail it I can re-take it in March but if I fail the re-take then I'm off the course, so there's a lot riding on it :wave_cry:

So it's fingers crossed and please send some good vibes my way on Wednesday!!!

Bye for now and have a good week, lots of love, Trace xxx

Good afternoon all

Thanks Redmel -I hope I can sell some, I love them -but then I would as I make them and only make what I like :p -Im hoping once they are all pinned onto a fabric covered board they will sparkle and catch people eye :cross:

Trace... come on..lots of positive thoughts -you have soooo many qualifications that you KNOW YOU CAN DO THIS :vibes:. I will keep my littl chubby fingers crossed for you on Wednesday,,,, hope its not as stressfull as it seems... have a good week Mrs...

Well I got my candles :giggle:I have had the strawberry buttercream one burning -very suble but lovely and now I have just swapped over to the "fresh cut roses" -mmmmm I got 2 of each and 2 "cherry blossom" to add to the stored ones.... Im an addict ...
The only other things I got from the naffi were 6 chicken breasts whoopsed to €3 2 packs of crumpets for hubby -whoopsed to 50c oooh and some tesco vegetarian cheese n leek sausages whoopsed to €1 so I got 2 packs ... I have looked them up and they are 4.5syns each on green/ee -but I know that I have days where I can factor them in easily enough -I don't know why but I seem to be fancying more and more of that kind of thing  -I have some of the bean burgers and the mushroom burgers from the same range in the freezer so I really should get some green days in ;)
This weeks meal plan is sorted -nothing too exciting as we have decided that we can't wait until it warms up any more to have our jacket spuddlies n salad :p - so this week looks like this:-
  • jacket potato, cottage cheese and salad X 2 :D
  • special fried rice
  • goan pork curry
  • home made burgers with wedges
  • easy cheesy vegetable pasta
  • lamb hot-pot
As it gets warmer our evening meals will get simpler and simpler as we could easily live on jackets n salad -especially with cottage cheese on
I need to nip shopping tomorrow or Tuesday -just for milk, fruit n veg.... so it shouldn't cost too much...
anyway I had better get off and make some more jewellery bits...
have a lovely day all and hope everyone is well!!!

Just a quick one before dinner.. here is where I am up to so far on my "beady exploits" as always if you click you will get a better pic ;)

Now then I have been pondering..as you do, and I was wondering-do you think it would be allowe and worth while if I was to add individual pics in my profile so people could have a nosey and then if they wanted one instead of paying me they could go to my "just giving page" and donate a little something there instead? as that way no money would be swapping hands??
Not sure if that would be ok -not that Im sure if anyone would want one anyway
hmmm off to think somemore whilst I eat my dinner *oohh get me -multi tasking* :p
