So then my meal plan for today is....

lemon juice in warm water
Melon
mango
14g oats (0.5xB)
125ml semi (0.5xA)
banana

227g jacket (B)
prawns
hm dressing (2)
lettuce
cucumber
tomatoes
peppers
tickled cabbage
tickled beetroot

1/2 fibre plus bar (0.5xB)
mango
melon
pineapple
Balsamic braised beef (1)
carrots
cauliflower

375ml semi (1.5 x A)
2tsp camp (1)
activia (2.5)

so that will be 2A+B and 6.5syns -
I have just had my mango and melon -and I will get my porridege when I have done this ... just wanted my fruit to go down first :D
Hubby wil be home from PT soon so I will do his brekkie and then when I have phoned mum for a natter Im going to sort out some meal plans - I sat last night and came up with some meals that should fit in with the "carb curfew" -just need to turn it into a proper plan so I don't make a clanger ;)
I have nothing much else planned for today so I will no doubt be milling about here ;)
Have a great day everyone and keep at it.....

Hey Hunni,
I'm curious about something, what is this shredded thing? Carb curfew is a good idea, not sure i'd manage it though, me and carbs have a love that is 24hrs a day :D

Shake shake, wait.

Shred shred shred! Shred that booty! :bunnydance:

Morning beautiful! :wavey:
Hope you have an awesome day today! I spoilt my 100% consecutive days with mothers day, chocolate cake, cheese on toast AND indian food.
I know, I know... why do I do it to myself? Why can't I just carry on and keep on losing like you do? whyyyy Mrs why?

Ee. okay. enough moaning. Success express today ooh!

p.s. the collection I got my Mum for mothers day was this Accessory Collections

but in a lovely creamy white, with midnight jasmine and one small 'beautiful day' (green) and daffodil shade (matches work :p) for my gran.

Love them all, going back today as they have '2 for £10' on small jars :O and thinking a french vanilla for my bedroom?! yes please :p

GOOD DAY TO YOU MISS!!

:vibes:

Good morning ladies :wavey:

Thought I would pop back on to pass a few minutes until I can have my lunch mmmmm the salad is done -just giving my spuddlie 5 more mins to make it REALLY crispy  ...

Nicki. "shredding" its from the Jillian Michaels DVD -called 30 day shred ;) -I LOVE it :silly:
The curb curfew is fine so far -the strange thing is that I used to be a carbohydrate junky before I started SW -I could have lived on home made bread, potatoes n pasta in various forms :p -but I have managed to get to grips with them now -well apart from bread and that I just cut out completely ;) .... I felt great yesterday, I'm not thinking it will make much difference to my losses as I know things have to slow down the lighter I get, but I'm OK with that -I just don't want my body to get used to expecting certain things at certain times ;).
How are things going with you?

woohoo Ela ine
1 day out of a whole week won't have wrecked anything -especially with all your success express and body magic :whacky068:....
I find the french vanilla a little sweet -so the 1 I have goes in the kitchen :D , they do some lovely things don't they :gimi:
Hope you are having a good week Mrs.... not long until your jollies ;)

Well folks I realised earlier that 1 week tomorrow I will have completed a whole 1 year on SW :faint2: - it seems to have flown by :party0011: by this time next year I should be happily at target and as toned as I can be -Im not expecting a 6 pack or anything, but I plan on being the fittest I can be :character00115: :giggle:

Right -time for lunch and then on with my meal plan for the week!!!
Have a lovely afternoon all :D

Is she the mean fitness women from TV? think i'd have a heart attack putting the dvd in the machine! I've given up bread, i only like the white stoddy stuff, wholemeal is just wrong, lol! I'm eating alot at the moment just because pasta and potatoes is cheaper then meat, but when things settle down i want to start eating less carbs, I need to start eating veggies really.
So have you lost 81/2 stone in a year? You are my guru, do you have any tips? share your wisedom x

Wow, Capricorn, I honestly can't believe it has been nearly a year...fantastic xx

Also WELL DONE on your 8 1/2 stone loss so far, that really is fantastic.

I am off to sort out some meal plans, well try, although the smallest one keeps screeching at me, I have no idea why...my head feels like it is going to explode!!!

Keep going xx

Have a lovely afternoon all :D

Morning (or well, afternoon, once I get this posted, I think :D). ONE WHOLE YEAR - and look at your progress and how consistent you are, this really is life now for you. You are fantastic and I hope you (a)know that and (b)bask in it a wee bit.

Your body must be loving you so much right now - all this good and healthy food and lovely exercise :D.

Glad your carb curfew's going well so far (it reminds me a little of an actress I've PA'd for as part of my second job; she ate no sugar at all, and no carbs after lunch - along with a lot of other more quackish dietry restrictions - and she did look utterly fabulous. I've also never seen anyone drink so much water in my LIFE. Hollywood diets can be a bit bizarre but hers seemed more reasonable than most, and, actually, quite SW ish.)

Eh I definitely posted here this morning but it's gone :S

Can't remember what I said now - so if you get two *confusing* then sorry!

Well done on the carb cutting! Yayhaaaayyy! :bunnydance:
And the shredding - you're an inspiration doing it every day! I literally get soooo achy! Not doing any today or tomorrow as resting my arms (and swimming only)until my Swim on thurs! AAAAAHH! tres nervous!

I got my mum this collection set from yankee, although it's creamy white and much nicer.
I also got a little beautiful day one with a daffodil glass shade for my Gran - she liked it. Thanks for the tips :p

Hope you have a fantastic day! Back to success express and 100% day for me after SCOFFING LIKE A PIG last night, but the less said about that, the better :p

Afternoon lovelies .....

Yep nicki. Jillian is the trainer from the biggest loser USA -Im not sure I would respond well if she was in my face screaming, but on the DVD I really like her, mainly because she isn't pink n frilly :p
Yep -I have lost my 8st8lbs in a year (next week :p) - Im certainly no guru -I still have plenty left to shift -but as for any tips.. :hmm:
The first one I trained myself into would have to be "if I don't buy it -then I can't eat it" -sounds so bl**dy obvious but that has been my greatest revelation. If I had things in the house I swear I could hear them calling me and I would have eaten them even if I didn't fancy them :slap:, I figured out long ago that all I need to be able to do is to get my feet out of the supermarket without XYZ in my bags and Im fine, thing is now that I have been doing it long enough for most things to not even appeal to me in the first place now :happy036:
Plan Plan Plan -I know a lot of people don't like planning quite as obsessively as I do, but it really helps me to know that I have scrummy food to look forward to!!
Keep your body guessing -I like to keep changing what Im doing so that my body never knows what to expect PLUS by keep changing things you have to pay attention to the rules -so no getting complacent with the weighing n measuring bit ;)

Do you know -I find it really odd as I don't find red days as expensive as green  -I think its because red days keep me full longer and also I find them more satisfying so I don't want "extras" -on green days, because I still weigh n measure the carbs so i don't go overboard Im left needing something later..

Thanks Redmel :p -I don't know where the time has gone  -hope your little ones have given you some peace n quiet *not much hope I bet* :giggle:

Wenchie -Thankyou so much :flowers: - I think I AM finally begining to appretiate my body -especially after all I have put it through  -I really do believe that I can carry on eating this way for the rest of my life :cross:
I don't mind tweaking SW a bit whilst still sticking to the basic principles -but Im at last past fad dieting *woo bl**dy hoo* - I don't mind doing a carb curfew to see how I get on but thats about it I think :p although I do drink masses of water -but I always have ;)

Ela ine -you did post this morning its probably shifted down as I have waffled :p ... Hope you enjoyed your curry -its one of the few foods that I don't like *woohoo something I don't like* :party0049:

Well folks -I settled on what I was having to mark my 1year on SW ..its nothing major but I loved it ... not sure if it will be here in time -but it's this:-

Buy Affirmation Pendant – Take Charge Of Your Life from Pia Jewellery

Its in part to mark my 1 year but also a nod to my big sis too -who really did grab life by the throat :D
oooh and hubby has started a "makeover" jar for me so that when I get to target I can go and have a complete overhaul -I will be having my moppa toppa cut n re-styled and dyed etc :bunnydance:
right -enough blah blah blah..... have a lovely afternoon all and thankyou for the constant support :thankyou:

Wow, that pendant is absolutely lush! I think I might get one if I ever reach target! Hope you don't mind me nicking your idea but it's so beautiful!!! :D :D

And a MASSIVE WELL DONE opn the 8.5 stone sticky - you really are FAB :D :D

Beautiful idea, for you and your sis :) xx

p.s. I want to have SHORT BROWN hair and not long blonde hair. Ooo target target where are you!

Good evening all

ooohhhh it has arrived -wii zumba  -I have had a tiny peek but Im going to give it my 1st go in the morning *gulp* I think there is going to be lots of :banana dancer: kind of thing going on -looks quite fast, especially for someone with NO rhythm :p

Its so nice that you all like that necklace -tis sooo pretty ...
I don't mind at all Kate -Im sure you will be at target wayyyyy before me-hack you can't be far off :party0011:...

Wenchie -I have hung my nose of Pia before but this is the 1st time I have ordered from them.. and I *might* have grabbed 3 bits in the sale too
Ela ine -my hair is almost to my waist at the moment and I recently dyed it a darker brown -but once I hit target I really want to go RED and I mean in your face red, and quite a bit shorter...

Well Im nearly at the end of day 2 on the carb curfew and so far it seems to be suiting me better :woohoo: -although I wil wait and see if the scales agree on Sunday :p
I still have my yog and iced coffee to use.. but that will leave me at:-
lemon juice in warm water :checkmark green:
Melon :checkmark green:
mango :checkmark green:
14g oats (0.5xB) :checkmark green:
125ml semi (0.5xA) :checkmark green:
banana :checkmark green:
227g jacket (B) :checkmark green:
prawns :checkmark green:
hm dressing (2) :checkmark green:
lettuce :checkmark green:
cucumber :checkmark green:
tomatoes :checkmark green:
peppers :checkmark green:
tickled cabbage :checkmark green:
tickled beetroot :checkmark green:
1/2 fibre plus bar (0.5xB) :checkmark green:
mango :checkmark green:
melon :checkmark green:
pineapple :checkmark green:
Balsamic braised beef :checkmark green:
carrots :checkmark green:
cauliflower :checkmark green:
375ml semi (1.5 x A) :checkmark green:
2tsp camp (1) :checkmark green:
activia (2.5) :checkmark green:

so that will be 2A+B and 5.5syns all present and correct :woohoo: in the end the braised beef was free as I didn't need corn flour :D
there is half of that left and a load of mashed potato as only hubby had that -so its going in the freezer and will get used as a quick lunch one day for both of us ;)
Right -I will get of and finish my food for the day... sleep well all!!

Good Morning everyone :wavey:

hmmmm well, what can I say :hmm: -not sure zumba at 7am is a good idea :sigh2: -Im already "rhythmically challenged". so doing it before Im actually awake and have eyes that focus perhaps wasn't such a good idea :giggle: Im not sure its going to be one of my fave things -I think I prefer the structure and control of the shred :D - I will keep at it though and see how I go :help2: -it may well be something that I like more when Im slimmer -we will see :giggle:

Well hubby is on the ranges today so we aren't sure what time he will get back this evening so Im doing a stir-fry as I can prepare it all and then just whack it all together when he gets in ;)
So then day 3 on RED carb curfew should look like this:-
  • mango
    [*]melon
    [*]activia
    (2.5)
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • 4 dark rye ryvita (B)
    [*]cottage cheese
    [*]lettuce
    [*]cucumber
    [*]tomato
    [*]onion
    [*]peppers
    [*]tickled cabage
    [*]tickled beetroot
  • pineapple
  • fibre plus (B)
  • 1/4tsp oil (0.5)
    [*]pork escalope
    [*]sticky ginger marinade (3)
    [*]onions
    [*]carrots
    [*]peppers
    [*]mushrooms
    [*]cabbage
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • 2tsp camp (1)
  • activia (2.5)
SO that should be 2A+B and 9.5 syns
I will get the marinade made after I have done this and then I can get the pork in and let is soak mmmmmmmmmmmm
Nothing much else planned here -although I REALLY need to get the rest of the fettling and sorting done for the car boot AND the rest of my jewellery making stuff made into bits n bobs ooh and then I need to get all the stuff I have made into its little cellophane bags -so I really need to get my ass into gear :slap: -I think Im going to just ask for €2 per item for the "dangles" as I have made quite a lot and it will perhaps work better to have a high turn over at a lower cost :hmm:..Im sure I will figure it out eventually :p
Anyway I had better get off for now.. have a lovely day all and keep up the great work :happy096:

Hey lovely,
I've put the Wii Zumba on my lovefilm list so should get it next, my feet are less the co-ordinated so this could be a disaster, as long as i don't break the tv i don't think i can do tooo my damage :cross:
Hope you have a great day x x

Good evening all

Nicki. I really got myself in a tizzy with the zumba this morning, So Im not sure how long it will be before I get to grips with it *or skim it up the garden* :rotflmao: - I would rather face Jillian and her shred in a morning ;). I hope you have more rhythm than me :p

oooh folks -the marinade for the pork was scrum scrum scrummy-I adapted it slightly from my original recipe -so it was :-
  • 1tbs runny honey (2.5)
  • 1tbs hoisin sauce (1.5)
  • 1tbs soy
  • 1/2tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2tsp 5 spice
  • 1tbs kepac manis (0.5)
so it came to 4.5 and there was planty to marinade 2 good portions of pork fillet -so Im calling it (2) for my share as I have less than hubby ;)

I have finished todays food -well Im just about to get my iced coffee ... so its ended up :-

mango
melon
activia
(2.5)
250ml semi (A)
4 dark rye ryvita (B)
cottage cheese
lettuce
cucumber
tomato
onion
peppers
tickled cabage
tickled beetroot

pineapple
fibre plus (B)
1/4tsp oil (0.5)
pork escalope
sticky ginger marinade (2)
onions
carrots
peppers
mushrooms
cabbage

250ml semi (A)
2tsp camp (1)
activia (2.5)
SO that should be 2A+B and 8.5 syns

Im really keeping my little podgy pinkies :fingerscrossed: that eating this way is agreeable with the scales on Sunday -as I really seem to feel better at the moment :woohoo: and Im eating much less fruit -Im still getting my quota in during the morning but Im not constantly mindlessly munching on it in the evening :D

OOH and excitement -hubby has suggested that we go out next Tuesday evening to celebrate my 1 year SW dodaa .:party0011:.. so I have picked a lovely little Italian as its walking distance -A) so hubby can have a drink and B) so I can get a bit of body magic in :sign0151:.
Im sooo happy because when he suggested it my first thought wasn't "oh god -it will break my plan" or "or oh god I have nowt to wear"
Hubby offered to nip in on the way home and get a menu so I could figure out what plan to do that day :heartpump: *I knew he listened when I rambled about the plan* :happy036:
Anyway -I decided to look on line and their menu is on :D -so I have chosen what Im having which means I can plan AND no temptation of looking at the menu ;) ... so I WILL BE HAVING:-

*Pork fillet in a lemon, white wine, rosemary, bay leaf and balsamic sauce served with rosemary potatoes and vegetables

So I have decided it will be a red day and then I only need to syn the white wine, leave the potatoes and then syn any oil etc on the veggies. Im not likely to manage to eat it all, so I doubt a pudding will feature (baring in mind I used to start looking at a menu by going to the sweets first ) and I don't drink -so *by jove I think I have it cracked* :banana dancer:
ooh and whilst Im getting all excited I skipped off to my wardrobe earlier and had a nosey (now I have things to choose from ) and got out a lovely long black dress I got in the sale at xmas and it fits and its a 16 :bunnydance:..
Sorry for rambling but this is probably the first time I have looked forward to going out for something "special" :woohoo:

right enough waffle -sleep well everyone-and keep up the great work!!

Sunday - 6.5 syns
Monday -4.5 syns
Tuesday-5.5 syns
Wednesday 8.5 syns

I have a great big smile from reading your post - it sounds like a wonderful way to mark your hard work so far :D - and what a lovely chap your hubby is as well. I'd love to see a piccy of you all dressed up for your special night.

I have to ask, what is
kepac manis? and is there something one could substitute if neccessary?

Good morning all

Wenchie - Thanks lovely - I will try and get a photo but I can't find my disc to reload the programme on the PC  -its here *somewhere*.
Kepac manis, is a fermented soy sauce -so its a bit sweeter , so you could always just add a bit of extra soy, or hoisin. I only tracked it down a little while ago too :p
Hope you are having a good week Mrs....

Well it looks like its set to be a nice day here -hubby has gone to a golf competition and isn't sure what time he will be back -so he is having "easy cheesy pasta" this evening, so thats nice n simple to sort out,,,,
Im going to finish this, do my shred, get my brekkie, phone my mum and then settle down with my beads n things and get some more dangles and earrings made - I doubt I will sell them al but I guess the more choice I offer the more chance there is of folks wanting 1 ;)

Im having another Red day *surprise* :giggle: so it should pretty much look like this:-
  • lemon juice in warm water :checkmark green:
  • 14g oats (0.5xB):checkmark green:
    [*]125ml semi (0.5xA) :checkmark green:
    [*]1/2 banana :checkmark green:
    [*]raspberries
    :checkmark green:
  • smoked haddock fillet :checkmark green:
    [*]ratatouille (0.5) :checkmark green:
    [*]71g peas
    (0.5xB) :checkmark green:
  • apple :checkmark green:
  • fibre plus bar (B) :checkmark green:
  • chicken breast
    [*]2tbs extra light mayo (1)
    [*]lettuce
    [*]cucumber
    [*]tomato
    [*]peppers
    [*]tickled beetroot
    [*]tickled cabbage
  • activia (2.5)
  • 125ml semi (0.5xA)
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • 2tsp camp (1)
So thats 2A+Bs and 5 syns

I have that hellmans extra light mayo stuff and I have learnt how to use it-now lets be honest -"it is vile" as it is -BUT what I have learnt is that if you add it to the tuna, chicken the day before you want it...it kind of soaks in and is much better (well its edible)-its the only way I can use it..but then I had got used to the German full on 80% fat one :giggle: -but I gave that up as it was 5.5syns per Tbs .... so i will make do with this stuff (only until the 3 bottles are gone then I will try something else ;) )
Anyway enough waffle I had beter get "shredding" -have a lovely day everyone...

Hi lovely! How is the zumba?
Debating on whether or not to get it... I used to do zumba (but not so much now - as prefer body attack)

maybe the wii game would be a good idea.. or maybe it will be sitting in the same place as the biggest loser wii game :p

Great food poppet, as always xxx
