I have to confess that I always use the wax disks as I find em easier to handle -so much so that my brother is off into Nottingham on Saturday and is stopping of in Lakeland to get me a new pack and send them to me to last until Im back in the UK :D.... Hey Capricorn (and all),

Just wanted to say well done on the weight loss and inch loss. You are really inspiring. I don't post much but ilove to come here and read your posts, they always make me believe that i can do this if i stick with the plan.

Please could you post a link to the shred that you have because when i did a search on Amazon (.co.uk) there were a few titles that came up.

Thanks, and well done again.

Toni. xx

Thanks. Have put it on my wishlist for payday. x

Good evening all

One very hot n sweaty me reporting in ... I have just done 30mins of Jillians fat blast thingy -god Im pooped. I gave up before it was finished, I have learnt to stop when I need to :D

that's a victory in and of itself - knowing when it's legitimately a need to stop and not just laziness. WELL DONE!

Wenchie -I love my burger press -especially as the cheese doesn't escape when you purt it in the middle :p .... I have to confess that I always use the wax disks as I find em easier to handle -so much so that my brother is off into Nottingham on Saturday and is stopping of in Lakeland to get me a new pack and send them to me to last until Im back in the UK :D.... Lakeland is the only shop I can't resist I could live in there :p

I'm positively dangerous in Lakeland... Ooh, okay, I'll try it both with and without then and see how I feel with it. I want to try the bean burgers in this month's magazine, as well (mmmmh, I can have them with chips and mounds of cheese on a green day....) and I think it'll come in very handy for those.

oooohh and I have just been informed that the zumba for the wii I pre-ordered will be despatched soon -more exercise to try :p
I will report back as its like the "just dance/dance on broadway" kind of game -It comes with a belt that you put the remote in -so I hope it will go around my fatta podge :cross:

I await your report with interest!

have a lovely day :)

Hi lovely!

Just popping by to say thanks hi! I've had my (lemon) water and done my shred... I don't love Gillian yet.. but I might if I can get my stone award before I go on holiday :D

Hope you have a lovely day xx

:vibes:

Good afternoon all :D

Im late popping in as when hubby knocked off work this morning we tootled off to the golf course -althought we only got a 1hr walk as it started to rain  - so we stopped off at the naffi on the way back where I may have picked up 4 more yankee candles -well they had swapped the promotions over  -so I have 2 midnight jasmine and 1 sweet lilacs for the "store" and a new new one called beautiful day which I have just lit -so if its nice I can get some more for the store :p

Anyhoo I also picked up a whoopsed chicken that is in the remoska -isn't it sad that Im really looking forward to the leftover turned into chicken n sweetcorn soup rather than the roast meat fresh :giggle:

So then Im on a Green day today that will be :-
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • frozen cherries
    [*]frozen raspberries
    [*]frozen strawberries
    [*]activia
    (2.5)
  • banana
  • apple
  • chicken n sweetcorn soup (1)
  • Pineapple
  • jacket potato
    [*]cottage cheese
    [*]lettuce
    [*]cucumber
    [*]tomato
    [*]peppers
    [*]onions
    [*]tickled beetroot
    [*]tickled cabbage
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • 1tsp camp (1)
  • fibre plus bar (B)

SO I make that 2A+1B and 4.5 syns so I need to squidge in another heB and some more syns.

Later this afternoon I will get my shred done -I didn't have time this morning :copon: -I will try and get a bit of something else in too...

Wenchie -I will report in on the wii zumba once I have tested it out..should be *interesting* as I have NO rhythm at all
I love the first part of that 2nd jillians DVD as its side kicks n hops n things -but when she moved on to twisted planks n burpees etc there is no hope in hell of me doing them yet
so I figured it makes more sense to do the 1st half hour when I can rather than try and do it all and never touch it again ;)
Ela ine -you will get your 1st award before your jollies :vibes: -Im not saying you will get to love jillian -but you will love what she can do to your body.... me, well I really like her and I think its because she isn't girly n frilly :p

Right -time to get off and get our soup -the micro has just pinged
Have a great day everyone and keep up the brilliant work :D

Thank you hun!

You and that 1 syn sweetcorn soup :p

It's no wonder you love Jillian - she'll have you dropping a dress size in a month at this rate :p
Was going to go to pilates tonight, but have to attend Brownie training.

Did Day 2 this morning and had water with lemon in your honour :bunnydance:

Good evening all

Well I did day 14 of the shred earlier and when it got to the cool down I stopped it and stuck on the "banish fat and boost metabolism" disc and did 12 mins of side kicks, hops n the like AND THEN did the cool down :party0011: - I was a soggy mess by the time I had done -but I figured that extra 12mins on the end would have done me more good than if I did it on its own as my heart rate was already up ;) and I have discovered that I quite like leg kicks and the like ... I can't wait until Im happy enough with my fitness as Im going to give kick boxing a try -I never have been much of a girly girl so I think this would appeal to me :p

I have finally cooled down and Im now just waiting for my jacket spuddlie to get really crispy :eating:

Ela ine -well done on getting day 2 done :party0049: are you getting it done first thing in a morning? I find it so much better then although I don't mind it too much when I have to do it at a different time now.... I can't believe I have found a trainer I like :woohoo: -not sure I would be as keen if she was screaming in my ear as she seems to do on TV

Rigth off to get the salad done.. have a great evening all

Hi hunnybunny! :wavey:

Thanks for the encouragement, yep I've been getting it done in the morning as thus far I've been able to!
When I get busier with swimming (this week - eeeeek!) I'll hopefully do it after work/before I go to bed.

I don't love it yet :p
after boxcersise the bicyle crunches kill me! As do the leg lunge things at the end.. and ofc as always - jumping jacks! But it's over quickly, no?! Haha - onwards and dowards to 30 days :D Well... 17 day shred for me, since I'm going on holiday 2 weeks today! :D :D :D

Food looks great.
what do you do with your felting, exactly? always curious :p

Lots of love and positive vibes! Have a great day :hug99: :vibes:

so I have 2 midnight jasmine and 1 sweet lilacs for the "store" and a new new one called beautiful day which I have just lit -so if its nice I can get some more for the store
Ooh - I see our wee Yankee-stocking-shop's got the new ones in - is Beautiful Day good?
Anyhoo I also picked up a whoopsed chicken that is in the remoska -isn't it sad that Im really looking forward to the leftover turned into chicken n sweetcorn soup rather than the roast meat fresh

Mmmh, Lovely soup is so GOOD though
Wenchie -I will report in on the wii zumba once I have tested it out..should be *interesting* as I have NO rhythm at all
I THOUGHT I did, but possibly only when I'm sitting down :D - I'm definitely interested to hear how it goes.

Well I did day 14 of the shred earlier and when it got to the cool down I stopped it and stuck on the "banish fat and boost metabolism" disc and did 12 mins of side kicks, hops n the like AND THEN did the cool down - I was a soggy mess by the time I had done -but I figured that extra 12mins on the end would have done me more good than if I did it on its own as my heart rate was already up and I have discovered that I quite like leg kicks and the like ... WOW! I'm very impressed indeed :D And Day15 already today... just wow :D

Have a lovely day!

Good afternoon all

Thought I would pop in and catch up before I go for a veg out on the sofa :p

Ela ine :p -Im not FELTING Im FETTLING -whats we call having a good old spring clean and sort out... I seem to do an awful lot of it to say there are only 2 of us
Sounds like you are well up on the exercise again :character00115::character00116::whacky068: you should have arms like Arnie :giggle:
I still adapt the bicycle crunches I ain't knackering my back :p

Not long until your jollies now -is it a family holiday?

Wenchie -the "beautiful day" is lovely but very subtle... my faves are "lemon lavender" "midnight jasmine" "orange n cranberry" and pomegranite cider" mmmmmmmm and quite a few others actually :D
Hopefully my zumba wii game will be here next week - a couple of people have got theirs and reckon it really makes you sweat "mmmm this isn't going to be pretty" :rotflmao: - when I do the just dance one I swear I go one way and my boobs n belly go the other :giggle: -mind at least I have a sports bra now... just need something to anchor my belly down ;)
Hope you are having a great day...

Well as expected hubby escaped from work early ..so is sat on the play station -well not *sat* ON it but you know what I mean :p.... ooooh and he came armed with a camelbak for when I do my trek next year -I have it now so I can get used to carrying the weight and using one... in the shops they are £55  -mine was the kind of price I like - NOWT
hopefully he will be able to get me some more of the kit I will be needing *gulp* I really need to get my a** into gear with fund raising.... at least Im doing my best to get fit -that seems to be the easy bit
Anyway Im off for a chill out... have a lovely afternoon all and no doubt I will be back later :sign0151:

Oh Jill - you're funny!
My arms are more like jelly... well, jelly made with lead.. it still looks and feels like jelly and shakes a whole lot.. but low and behold when I try and lift them they are heavier than I don't know what! That's where all the real 'weight' is sitting :giggle:

I am motivated once more - woohoo! I know I've been rubbish of late  but am back now *wiggle wiggle* and it's only two weeks until I get to sit in the SUNSHINE with books and go exploring little corners of morocco!

It's not a family holiday no, just my friend and I.. everyone thinks we're together/married etc.. and we sort of are.. (well we're like a married couple) but not (not actually married)

Going good on success express - day 2! Whoot!

LOL @ your spring clean.. I must have read felting and imagined you were doing something crafty (Brownies on the brain, still :p)

I'm going to get my Mum a yankee candle for mothers day I think - the ones with the 'lamp' like lids and the saucer.. hopefuly you will know what I mean? heh on the hunt for it today after work :D x

Good Morning all :wavey:

Well its an odd one here -its gloriously sunny but overcast/hazy at the same time ... We are off for a walk around the lake in a bit (after I have caught up here and had a cuppa :D)
*must burn more wobble* :whacky068: - plus I will get to stop off at the fruit shop on the way back *:sign0151: -cunning plan*

SO then Im thinking that today will be EE and I think it should look like this:-
  • 250ml semi (A) :checkmark green:
  • banana :checkmark green:
  • 1/2 avocado (7) :checkmark green:
    [*]chicken :checkmark green:
    [*]lettuce :checkmark green:
    [*]cucumber :checkmark green:
    [*]tomatoes :checkmark green:
    [*]onion :checkmark green:
    [*]peppers :checkmark green:
    [*]tickled cabbage :checkmark green:
    [*]tickled beetroot
    :checkmark green:
  • golden plums :checkmark green:
  • frozen raspberries
  • frozen cherries
  • activia (2.5)
  • jacket potato
    [*]cottage cheese
    [*]*salad as above*
  • pineapple
  • fibre plus (B)
So thats 1A+B and 9.5 syns covered -Im still way down on using them this week but hey ho I tried :p It will come to 52.5 this week -so I guess thats 7.5 ish a day average -which isn't that bad really :D -Good ole Mr Avocado is the answer -wonder if I could have avocado every lunch time :hmm: .....
I will get my "shred" in this evening -hubby has the Leeds footy match on this afternoon so I will take root to the sofa and TRY and meal plan for next week :D

Ela ine - that holiday sounds good and you should have a great time if its just you and your best mate :party0016:.... oooh and get in that pool and get some swimming done :character00115:

I don't like that :0icanfly: game on the wii -I can never land properly and boy it makes my arms hurt -no wonder you have lead arms :p

I know what yankee thing you mean, my mum has some -Its no use now but later I will dig you out a link for a yankee place that do some good discounts in case you want to use them at a later date ;).... I got mums flowers delivered yesterday as I knwo she would be in and not be busy with visitors.. I chose these this time..
Mother's Day Teacup and Saucer - Interflora
Apparently they are "bootiful", I send flowers for every occasion and make it my mission to see what form I can send them in :p -she has had numerous vases, baskets, troughs, boxes -but never a cup n saucer :party0011: - gawd knows what I can find next time :giggle:
Hope you have a great weekend.. and keep up the great work :bunnydance:

Right I will get off and get sorted and get out on my walk - no doubt I will be back on later :D have a good day everyone!!

Hi hun!

FYI, I hate that chicken game too! It hurts my arms no end -ESP after 30 day shred!

I ended up getting large candle (beautiful day) an the daffodil large shade (and tray) - for my gran!

A large midnight something candle (it's wrapped now.... But smelt very nice :p) a large ceramic mosaic tray and shade (will take a pic when my mum has opened :p) and two small candles - French vanilla (for me) and an orange one for my cousin to give my aunt for mothers day.

Well, the two small ones were two for £10... So imagine my shock when the total came to £82!!!!!! Okay so I got my grandma a card still but... :-o

Decided to forgo getting my hair done this week and get nice candles for my Mum and Gran ... Aha x

Food looks awesome- I love cottage cheese now!

Hope you have a great day xx

Afternoon all

Well the walk was lovely -it was only an hour but it was bliss, tootling around the lake with just the birds tweeting *ahhhh* and it burn an extra 6000+ steps worth :p
ooohh ooohh and on the way back I stopped off at my fave place for fruit at the moment and got 2 HUGE mutant pineapples :giggle: now they are €1.99 each which is actually cheaper than the supermarkets at the moment -but these ickle booties weigh nearly 3kg each (with their spikes cut off) :bliss:, I also grabbed golden plums *which are NO MORE*, a melon, 3kg itty bitty rock hard red apples, 3 aubergines, a courgette, 5 peppers and a bag of plum tomatoes and it came to €11 nomnomnom ...... I got a sudden fancying for ratatouille  -hence the aubergines n things... I will get that made tomorrow so it can stand and develop in the fridge whilst I decide what to do with it :giggle:
I have had another halo polishing moment too -hubby decided that he wanted a gyros for lunch :nono:-so I traveled home in the car with that smell up my hooter and then made my avocado n chicken salad -which was nommy as always
ooh and on the way back I stopped off at the naffi and got 3 packs of 2 steaks with peppercorn sauce -each whoopsed to €1 :woohoo: -now the sauce comes in a sachet -so hubby will have it on his and I can just have the steak ;) -core - I like bargains :p

Ela ine - if its a white one you got your mum -called midnight jasmine -tis bootiful (one of my faves) .... I bet you needed gas n air when they totalled it all up :faint2: -now you know why Im stock piling the little belters ;) I get the big jars for €12.50 each ... I figure if I have plenty then I won't mind so much buying an occasional one once Im back in the UK -Im doing the same with perfume and face creams too :giggle:

I have always loved cottage cheese -luckily its one of hubbies faves too :party0049: I buy 12 pots at a time and shove it in the basement fridge.
Hope you are all set for a good weekend Mrs..
I need to get my shred done later and sortout what I fancy eating this week too ;)
Right -time to get off and catch up .. have a great day everyone..

the "beautiful day" is lovely but very subtle... my faves are "lemon lavender" "midnight jasmine" "orange n cranberry" and pomegranite cider" mmmmmmmm and quite a few others actually :D

Mmmh, I shall have to go in and have a sniff at it, thank you :D (and pick up one of the clean cotton car hangers for my wardrobe whilst I'm at it, the current one smells of cardboard now!) I love the pomegranite cider - it leaves a lovely sweet freshness afterwards I think.

I was just thinking "but she's got that great sports bra..."! :D Somehow I don't think holdem in pants are the answer and a corset's not conducive to bending... hrm....

he came armed with a camelbak for when I do my trek next year -I have it now so I can get used to carrying the weight and using one... in the shops they are £55  -mine was the kind of price I like - NOWT

Ooh, nice! Yes, definitely practice with it, apparently it can feel a bit odd, balance wise at first.

Im still way down on using them this week but hey ho I tried :p It will come to 52.5 this week -so I guess thats 7.5 ish a day average -which isn't that bad really :D -Good ole Mr Avocado is the answer -wonder if I could have avocado every lunch time :hmm: .....

Well, they'd be "healthy" syns, but I suspect it might get a touch repetitve :D

I don't like that :0icanfly: game on the wii -I can never land properly and boy it makes my arms hurt -no wonder you have lead arms :p

Its when you try so hard to land and then only get a 10second bonus - and it's taken you longer than that to get down!

sounds gorgeous :), I'm hoping the rain'll go off, but if it doesn't I might well head out anyway.

Have a lovely rest-of-day!
