You're right about everyone falling off around the same time... There's another 2 weeks to Christmas too

Looks like my afternoon could be brightening up!!! x

haha you do know, now I've said that he will 90 years old and minging! haha!

Trying to catch up on diaries now and it's no easy feat! plus got shopping and loads of housework to do haha! even gonna try walking the dogs, as when we get the bakery they will need ot walk home so they had better get used to it! lol
 
It's way too frosty and icy for me today and I you know I love walking. We live at the top of an un-gritted road and you can guarantee I would end up breaking something. Looks like we're in for more of the same tomorrow too :'(
 
I live up an ungritted hill to but its not as cold down here so it's not icey at all :) but still too cold for the little one I think

It's great when it snows... not! It's like an ice rink!! I often watch cars hoping for the best trying to get up and down it!

This cold weather isnt doing my water drinking good!

I never seem to fancy water when its cold! I always want tea, coffee or hot chocolate! lol

yeh im not drinkin as much water as i should its too cold but i havin hot orange and stuff lol!
good on u hun for havin a 100percent day yesterday me 2 :)

ha send john round to me if u want with a that yummyness!!! were normally start gettin goodies in for christmas but i have banned it SO on the 21st we will b going to Asda to do the christmas shop (isnt it amazin for one day it cost a bomb!!) and tha when some goodies and lots of wine will b purchased!!
we do christmas dinner at our house jus us 3! coz we have done going to mums n carls parents but the first yr we had lucas it dint feel like christmas day for us it was so busy and so hard so mum n andy always come 2 us in the morning then when they go we have cristmas dinner then in the afternoon carls family come! we love it suits us really well! i like christmas day night eating lots of cheese n cracker yum lol!

Talk away!!! I was looking at some supermarket leaflets that were posted through our letter box today and in the co-op you can buy smoked Camembert.... Oh my days, I need that in my life!

On the flip side I am just watching 'inside the body beautiful' x

I've just watched a fantastic programme called inside the body beautiful that I think Sarah recommend... Has to be one of the most interesting programme I've watched in a long time!

I'm lucky that I can work from home to thankfully I haven't had to go outside In the awful weather... I would be life Bambi on ice ;-) x
 
Yeah it's a great program!

it's really interesting to find out what actually happens inside you, makes you think about what goes in, I should of watched that when I fell off plan :)
 
well I have a side table/coffee table right next to my seat on the sofa, I tend to put my tea/coffee/drink and laptop on it, but have recently been putting food items on it and find I pick at them mindlessly, so we have said everything we eat, except fruit must be eaten everytime at the dining room table. trying to get myself out of the habit. I've bought a few xmas cupboard bits and I opened a box of mince pies yesterday only ate 1 but it's all I can think about! driving me mad, can't wait for dinner to be ready.

Hopefully I will think about them less when i've got a full tummy.

Been trying some Paul McKenna techniques to do with eating slowly and visualization and it's really helping! it's amazing how little we need to eat to feel full! I've read the book before, but now I've got it as a PDF on the comp for when I need it :) plus I love the hypno cd lol

it's really been knocking me out.
 
I've got a practitioner diploma in clinical hypnotherapy. I studied it for two years and used to go down to London on a weekend to do the course. The crazy thing is, since I've qualified I never did a thing with it!

It can be a very powerful tool if its used in the right way. I chose to study it as so many people take medication for problems such as stress and depression and all it does is mask the problem and they never truly get to the root cause

I met a guy on my course that went on one of Paul makenna's courses that he runs on CBT and he said it was mind blowing x
 
I'd love it to work for me, just not sure how much of an impact it has on me. Never really done it for enough of a length of time to be able to see results I guess.

It was something I looked into for maintenance but wondered how long I would kid myself I was doing it properly, and that i would just end up putting on weight because I would be fooling myself by not following it properly as it's not a conventional route.

Morning lovely ladies!

Last day before weigh in! Hoping to hop back into the 10's tomorrow morning and if nothing else over Christmas i need to make sure I stay there. I think it's more psychophysical than anything else because it will mean that getting into the 9's will seem more achievable in the new year...

Tomorrow night I have another works do which is an Indian meal in Leeds and drinks, I have already said that I want to drive as I know it will save me points for the weekend, If I use a huge chunk on Thursday night I know I will struggle over the weekend. An Indian meal already isn't great on points and I am going to opt for something like tikka pieces as they wont be swimming in a fattening sauce and if I decided to drink and get a taxi, after i've had a few drinks i will think f**k it and before I know it I will have a full fat curry, rice, naan and all the wine I can possible drink as it will all be free

The building inspector is happy for us to move on to the next stage so we are having the cement delivered tomorrow and we are hoping that the brickie will be able to start on the 22nd Dec and he should have it built in a couple of weekends. We are going out with friends in manchester on the 22nd and we were supposed to be staying over but I have just cancelled the hotel as will need to be back home ready for Sunday morning... I am going to opt to drive as the restaurant menu is calorifc and everything is either covered/cooked in oil and is swimming with butter. It really annoys me, why do chefs think that they have to cook and cover food in oil and butter to taste nice???

Anyways my food for today...!!

B: Porridge, scanbran with skimmed milk 1pp

L: Tuna and boiled egg salad - FREE, salad cream - 1pp

D: haddock, babycorn, sugar snap peas, carrots - FREE, home made parsley sauce - 3pp
 
Mm, sounds good! I really don't eat enough fish anymore.

The Paul Mckenna techniques sound interesting - might look into that when I get back. I do find that since I started ww I can't eat as much anyway but I have a problem stopping eating halfway through even when I'm full. I am improving and I've started asking for food to be boxed up in restaurants. I have no shame!

Becky - where did you do your course? I'm tempted to do something similar (prob not hypnotherapy) so would be good to see what they offer! :)
