Becoming a slinky bride (even if it means no wedding cake!)

Ahhh I'm having Xmas eve and Xmas day totally off and new yr eve off too, we are actually going for an Indian for Xmas dinner haha and we are going china town on new years eve. I've been dieting now none stop since jan so I'm sooo looking forward to this break :D

I know but I just live Christmas cooking shows! It's not Christmas without Gordon, Jamie and nigella on the screen!

Well I'll be lucky to stay the same this week! Forgot about my works Christmas party. Going to try and be as good as possible. Have ordered the following off the Christmas menu at las iguanas.

Starter: cheese and chicken taco (going to avoid the taco shell an just eat the meat)

Dinner: festive fajitas! Chicken with spur cream, going to not eat the wraps

No dessert and only water to drink xx
 
Definitely going to be lucky to maintain. I had half a slice of cheese cake! Ad I was being so good! Scrapped the pathetically small bit of chicken out of the Taco shell, didn't eat the wraps and then they put the most amazing piece of cheesecake in front of me! I tried to pass it round but damn it I work with beauty therapists! And I could t leave it there untouched, that would be rude lol x
 
LOL cheesecake is delish! And so hard to resist when it's being waved under your nose.

FYI for next time you can make a low carb one in two easy steps -

1. Mix 1/4 cup of ground flax seed with something to bind it - melted butter is good, and I also add some sugar free maple syrup from the LCM. Push into a small tupperware dish and put in fridge.
2. Mix half a tub of cream cheese, some liquid sweetener and flavouring (I really like lime juice for a key lime effect), then spread on top of the base, and fridge for a bit longer.

It's not perfect or pretty but it sure hits the spot! :D
 
I'm a sucker for cheesecake! My mum buys it for the fam every Sunday dinner it kills me lol xxx

So just the 1lb off this week. But that does make it 12lbs in 4 weeks so I'm very very happy. And I'm fitting into work clothes that never used to fit before.

I have started the Jillian Michael's 30 day shred! Omg I've done level one a few times and its heard. As I have my measurements for my wedding dress due to be done in 30 days I thought I'd add it in now as extra motivation! I will really really try to do it every day as its only 30 minutes its just not nice and fluffy anywhere, hardcore!
 
Hehehe just had hubby to be do it with me, he said "oh it can't be that bad, I do spinning and boxer use and football every week" even he had to take breaks lol. I love it. In a very very good mood today, feel very skinny! Xx

L: 1Tbsp of sugar free organic peanut butter on celery

D: Jamie's chicken stroganoff with Jamie's celeriac (amazing!)

Snack: some whipping cream with cocoa, cheese string

Good evening everyone! I am back! Haven't weighed in this week as I was struck down on Sunday with the dreaded sickness bug! Lived off crackers (not very atkins I know but couldn't keep anything else down) then had a atkins friendly dinner and a not atkins friendly Christmas pudding and some chocolate. Got back on it yesterday, hopefully not done any damage. Xx
 
Also anyone getting a bit fed up of their other halves or family sticking their noses into your diet? My fiancé keeps questioning me every time I have an atkins snack. Like just now I sat down to eat some of my mums specials atkins sausage meat stuffing she made for me and he was asking why I was eating that before dinner. Well because I'm hungry, I've had no lunch as I've been out with you shopping all day and dinner won't be for another 2 hours. And MY diet plan is working just fine thank you! I've lost nearly a stone and dropped a dress size (2 in my work trousers). If I have something that doesnt look like conventional diet food like some whipping cream he says "should you be having that?" I'm about to rip his blinking head off!

Hey Hun, back on it properly today, only a 3lb weight gain and I know that's water as none of my measurements haven't changed. Hope your ok and had a nice Xmas.
