Im going to start working on my siggie/mini-goals again. :) I have exactly 5st to lose. SoI need to be reasonable and sensible when i break it down.

HIYA Lou :) Good for you! You and Clin are so much braver than I am. Really. Im just not calm enough, inside, to have a go with food...even though I really REALLY wanted to. I think maybe, (did I mention Ive gone fully veggie again, for good? we had an incident with chicken over the xmas. omg. it was horrid...and put me off REALLY REALLY. gaag*) ....if I ate meat and had that to fall back on (hello, easy protein option)...it might have swayed me. But I just struggle in that respect. Also, Im just ch!ckensh!t. :D

Also...in other news. Hubby got me some flavoured coffee in waitrose today. Its Little's (the make) and its gorgeous. Im currently sipping a cup of Bourbon Vanilla. Feels like a proper nice drinkie. lol. :)
 
Sounds great! I so agree, it is a choice :)

I also have a smoothie maker (blend active) and it makes scrummy shakes, especially when you add ice!

I assume you're in your kitchen now?
 
Yes. I had some tiles put up in the kitchen...you know the pretty-but-pointless small mosaic-y ones that are just meant to look pretty? lol. the landlord loved them but there was such a rush for us to get into the flat (and out of my poor friend's house) that the last few bits of snagging work just got pushed back a bit. this was the last job that needed to be done. so my kitchen was inaccessible this morning. but its all sorted and im back in there and alls well. i just kind had to wing it today though. I havent had a single pack...but im still counting this as day 1. i had about 100g of mild cheddar (not all in one go!) and a handful of plain almonds and then for my dinner ive made half a 300g bag of quorn and some broccoli. very much vlcd but with food. In fact....Im going to go plug it all into MFP now.....

Well...it came out far too low in carbs, especially...so Im going to have a bowl of heaps of fruit later (the blueberry and banana) and then my numbers will be:

and thats me done. Ive only had 1L of water today. FOR SHAME.

Tomorrow, my asda shop comes early (between 7 and 9am) and i am on packs, properly. Still....not bad for a hap-hazard day 1.

Also, hubby ordered my scales. Awww, bless him!
 
I think you did brill. One thing I loved about reading your earlier diary is that you really showed that the plan can still be a bit flexible and you can still lose weight.

I'm only on my second day of packs but have been low carbing for 2 more so day 4 for me.
 
It really can. If you (one...not YOU specifically...) can educate yourself about how and why the diet works....you can find ways to tweak it a bit here and there, now and then...in order to make it really work for you. You have done so wonderfully over the weekend, really. You should be really pleased with yourself! :)
 
I've had a horrific day food wise I don't know if I can stick it out. I've got four boobs as a pair are sticking over my bra lol.

Oh man...the dreaded 4-boob. I hate that. I used to have that problem a lot. I also used to have 6-boob, which is even worse. :/ 4 in the front and 2 hanging over the sides of my bra at the back/side. it was so gross. *sob* was?!.....pfft..is....Im sure i have it again. I havent dared to look. haha.

Anyway. Up this morning, waiting for asda. Made breakfast (toast) for everyone and coffee for me. Hubby got me 2 jars of Little's flavoured coffee at Waitrose yesterday....one is Bourbon Vanilla (so...irish cream! lol) and the other is Swiss chocolate. theyre SO nice. Honestly. my flavoured coffees are my saviour. lol. anyway. so i had a cup of that and got my water out...ready to start chugging. Im aiming for 3L today. Ive also boiled a few eggs...because we all know I love my eggs...especially when Im having shakes (which totally dont fill me at all). So a shake and an egg. Especially for the first couple of days. Gonna go plug stuff into MFP. Oh and I got an email from SnS that my packs will be delivered today. yay! Savoury tonight!
 
Ive just had to input all the 4 pack exante stuff into MFP. What a pain! hahaha. But its all in there now and I know that the info is accurate and entered according to the info from exante directly. Today Im having:

Choc shake - egg
Banana shake (with a sprinkle of cinnamon...my fave!) - egg
Maple pancake
Spag bol
Another egg before bed if Im struggling.

837/65 - perfect. :)

Going to wait to have to figure out how to space my packs. 9:30, 12, 3:30, 5:30 seems about right.

Just had an egg and my first shake (banana with cinnamon...so so good). Only had half a litre of water so far though...must do better than that!

My SnS came and I had forgotten that I'd ordered 1 each of the new cottage pie and the new spag packs. so im going to have cottage pie. They are both very low on carbs. 13g each, i think...so i will have a little broccoli with them.

So my new numbers with the 150g cooked weight broccoli is

846/65
 
First, I wanted to say that I know Im posting loads and obsessing when I clearly said in an earlier post a few days ago that I wouldnt focus so much on the diet etc...but for the first week or so...I feel like I need to keep letting all this out and checking in here. It really helps keep me focused and on plan. Feel free to skim or completely ignore lots of my drivel!

Anyway...Im so cold today...Im pretty sure its just a cold day AND Im drinking more...much more than I had been (for months!). TOTM just arrived (oh joy) too. I always feel colder during TOTM because Im certain my internal body temp goes up a bit.

So I was talking to hubby last night (while he chomped his nasty bombay mix. ahem. And belgian buns. DID I TELL YOU HE BROUGHT BELGIAN BUNS IN!? hahaha. His logic was that I got my 2 jars of coffee as a treat so he got belgian buns. Fair enough really but RAWR!! haha (i dont even like them. well...the icing bit makes my tummy sore) LOLOL insanity.)....ANYWAY...we were chatting and i said...I have exactly 5st to lose. And I asked him what my prize would be once I got to goal - as, of course, I should treat myself. And he said "well, what would you like? anything in mind?" and I said "well, lots of things but it doesnt have to just be for me...." hahhaa I WANTED A TRIP/Holiday!! but I wanted to see what he would come up with...so he said "how about a trip? *has a quick look at the laptop*....for instance, a week at Haggerston Castle is only ....suchandsuch (cant remember)...in september". YES PLEASE! haha. Then one of the reviews said that haven at Berwick was much better..so we looked at that and it does look amazing. So we will probably do something like that. So i need to get these lbs shifting asap. :D :D :D *excited*

Day sounds good, and I'm so going to try adding cinnamon to my banana shake...

I have promised myself a trip to New York in 2016 (can't afford it before then) if I get to goal and maintain for at least 6 months...:) not sure that'd appeal to you now given your American adventure.
