Bev - Round 2

Ouch Bev......theres a guy at physio with the same injury. He had it manipulated under a general anaesthetic but he said that it was still painful......hope you get better soon x

Thankfully my shoulder doesn't affect my badminton!

Weekend nearly here and we are off tomorrow to book our flights. Woohoo!! Really means holiday is on then!

Hope everyone has a great weekend, I know I will!

Thanks Bev, I am working nights Sat and Sun, but will have a good drink tonight.

Good luck with booking the flights hun xx

Oooh the excitement of booking it all - I love it!! :D xx

Well, flights all booked! We're off in just over 5 months, can't wait already. Hubby's really excited already, just like a child!

Did the Wii Active yesterday and completed all the running again. Can't believe I did cos I find running so hard, always have done. Really hot and sweaty afterwards so know it's doing some good. Doing it again tomorrow, badminton thursday and wii again at the weekend. I have a 2 matches this week, thursday and friday. I will be knackered on saturday!

Have physio again later and this time she will be showing me how to strap up my arm myself. Wont be doing it as tight as she did though.

Ooooo exciting :)

Just reading about your exercise makes me tired ;) xx

Whooooooooooooooo flights booked!!! Now just spending money and clothes to save for yer?!! :giggle: x

That's right Tanya, spends to save for and we're there! This will be our last holiday for a couple of years as my daughter is getting married next April and we are also going to a wedding vow renewal later in the year too. Both include stays in hotels so that should be a couple of nice weekend breaks.

Did my physio last night. For the next 5 weeks it's up to me to strap up my shoulder and arm, should be OK. Doing Wii Active later and then badminton match on Thursday and Friday and Wii again on Sunday. Really determined to get fitter this year. So far so good!

Did the Wii again last night. First time I completed it under 20 mins. Very pleased with that.

Really trying hard to cut out the nibbling in the evenings now what with the holiday booked. I have just under 22 weeks to shift a little weight and feel better about myself. The exercise is under control it's just the food now!

Bung your swimsuit on Bev and take a photo of yourself with your phone as incentive ....I've done this with jeans that I wanted to get into, original photo had them half way up my thighs, then pulled up but not zipped, then zipped but with muffin top creeping over the waistband and finally.....fit like a glove....shame cos they should fit like a pair of jeans:D

You don't need to lose much though do you?

Thats a good idea what sandra suggested bev :)
Cutting out the snacking is hard tho init! x

I didn't know Sandra had 5 legs ........ xx

At least you've got the exercise under control Bev ... one thing I just can't ge tto grips with! xx

Oh wouldnt life be so simple if we could eat and drink what we wanted, when we wanted!

I am sure if you keep yourself occupied in the evenings Bev, you can cut out the snacks.

I think the snacking is the downfall for us all. It is a bad, bad habit that is so very hard to break. I've gotten back into it since early Dec. and I am finding it tough to give them up. Main meals are good but then the snack attacks and fridge grazing!!!!
You have your fab holiday to focus on so get tough on yourself and break that old snack habit. Then tell the rest of us how you did it!!!

I saw something on tv a while back about snacking that made me laugh. The fellow said that snacking is not a natural thing to do. We are the only species in the whole animal kingdom that do it. You'll never see a lion snacking on a chipmunk while he's waiting for the next antelope to come along .... for some reason that really tickled me. :D xx

Where did I put that half chipmunk again???

:giggle:

HeeHee ;) xx

Thanks ladies. I haven't got a lot to lose just a stone I reckon. I know that sounds a lot to most of you but for me that's so much better than last time I came off LT. I really am trying hard to stop the snacking now and so far so good. Why does watching TV make you want to eat? What's all that about?

Can't do badminton tonight or match tomorrow as I pulled my back and can't risk it. What is wrong with me? I feel like an absolute wreck at the moment. If it can go wrong, it does!

Staying postive though, got lots to look forward to this year and next!
