Morning Gem you seem to be alone here this morning! Mr Taz has gone to work and left me all on my ownsome but that was not without leaving me plenty to do! Last night he moved a load of stuff from the dining area and piled it all up on one of the sofas so now the place looks like a junk yard!

Jenn, OMG I have just got my m&ms out of the freezer and they are yummy!

Well abz - today I'm off to the hairdressers and then (sorry) on a research mission to McDonalds to check out the new whispa McFlurry (well, someone has to do it, and it's no good relying on a CDer to check out something as important as a whispa McFlurry is it?). I'll leave it up to you whether you want a slurp by slurp account or whether to keep quiet about it (maybe you've hung up your mac). Then it's back to being good til the end of the week. Ideally I'd love to evict 3 or 4 of those nasty pounds this week in prep for my visit to The Land of Guiness but I would be happy with 2lb.
Don't think I'm at all jealous of the M&Ms either. Taz, you can have them all to yourself. x

it's the best way taz or you'd go mad... what do you think about this house... i'm thinking of selling mine but it's such a huge thing to go through. buying it was bad enough. buying and selling i'm not sure about but i want a bigger place before i have kids. my house could probably manage a baby... and that's it. as soon as there is independent movement we have trouble. obviously we'd have to redecorate but this one has three bedrooms and a garden...

Wow Abz I like that house! I would like to sell our flat and get a house but Mr Taz wants to wait til the market is better! We could be waiting forever!

well it isn't too far from where i'm living at the moment so if ours goes down in value so should that one... i'm not sure what the 5% deposit paid bit means though. does that mean that 5% of the asking price is already paid or that it is worth more than that asking price but 5% of it has been paid already... am a bit confused there. i need to go and see my mortgage woman to see what we can do. first of all i need to fix up the bathroom as the toilet leaked and we had to rip half of it out and get it valued to find out how much we are going to be playing with. it was valued rather highly when OH took over part of the mortgage a year ago but that was a year ago... the area i'm looking at is on it's way up in the world. not the nicest area in the world in general but the bit that house is in is lovely and the council is throwing so much money at it at the moment. i'm sure it's going to end up being a yuppy flat area eventually, ha. but i want three bedrooms and a garden and if that's what i want this is the only decent area i know of i'll be able to get that in. my best mate only lives around the corner too. she didn't know where it was so we got the sat nav out and it said 'turn left, turn left, you have reached your destination', ha. so great for babysitting purposes and ad hoc visits

oh. forgot to say. there are quite a few up for sale on that street at around the same price. this one was taken off the market for a bit so think the sale may have fallen through. this is my favourite one but if this one sells there are others around the same place. it doesn't have a bath!! that's the only thing. but it would be easy enough to fit one unless they've done something to make the room smaller than all the identical ones next to it!!
