Taz....hmmmm....I am sure they are nice....but too many syns for me at the moment. Maybe when I get down to what I was before I got PG I may get one as a treat, but for now...I am staying away from sweeites. I guess I am lucky to be a savoury girl...I get my fix from my cheese allowence. hehehe

Gem...gotta tell ya...LU made me laugh today...we were in the grocery store and there as a little lightenin' mcqueen ride he wanted to get on ( which he does every time I am in the store) but I told him I didn't have any change so he couldn't ride it...so he said " can I get on and use my imagination?" I said yes and then just laughed.....he keeps asking me lately if he can use his imagination....bless.....hahaha

But thanks about the internet thing....I have considered getting him into modeling because he loves clothes and taking picutures...but then I am not one of those pushy mom's and I am sure I would end up telling them all to p*ss off. hahaha

An imagination is a wonderful gift. So many children and young people do not know how to tune in to theirs. I can remember the joy of helping my three to develop theirs and seeing everything new through their little eyes. x

hehehe....yeah I love to sometimes ( when the weather is nice) lay on the grass under a tree and just imagine what shapes you can see from the shapes of the leaves and the sky as the background...good fun....or the clouds....or sometimes we just sit on the floor and pretend he is driving and he tells me about the stuff we pass up and see....he is good like that. It's funny I miss him even when he is sleep...He is the most wondeful gift I could ever be given!! I am so grateful everyday for him...even when he has the occasional naughty steak....he is really a lovely little boy and such a joy to have around. I could never imagine being without him. I just hope that I can do right by him....let him experience life to the full. And teach him to be a good man. He even tell me that when I become small and a baby again he will cook for me and let me play with his stuff....hahaha...that is nice!!

My goodness. I should really just learn to slow down when I am typing, my typos are getting worse. Hahaha! I am surprise you all can make out what I am saying half the time. I just never re-read what I am putting down. Then when I do I have already posted it and I sound like an illiterate idiot who can't string a sentence together. The thing is, as you can tell, I talk A LOT, and my brain is working so far that and I can't possibly type as fast as my brain is thinking. Therefore I just think sr*ew the spelling they will figure it all out. Hahaha...and well...I guess you do huh?! This post is much better slowed down a bit. Yeah...I think I only have the odd typo in this one...fingers crossed I can keep it up.

Coo-ee, Mr Sun, where are you?

Hopefully Mr Sun is in Ireland waiting for me to arrive tomorrow and have a good holiday.

That Taz again - up in the middle of the night to go to work.

I know all about that one - when I was a kid one of my dad's shifts was 6-2 and he had to walk some 3 miles to the station to catch his train. I used to hear him downstairs stirring his tea and would go down just to sit with him - that would be around 4 am.

Then off he would go, happily down the street singing to himself as he went to work all day at a horrible acid production plant, often climbing up inside those tall chimneys that you see to clean away the nasty stuff sticking to the inside.

If he was lucky and no-one had gone sick he would be home again around 4 in the afternoon. Many times he had to do a 12 hour shift (occasionally 16 hours as the plant had to be kept going) and turn around next morning and do his early shift all over again - hard life.

Anyway, enough already of my insane ramblings - how is everyone else?

Just one more day to go for me before I embark on my first ever trip on an aeroplane - used to packing everything but the kitchen sink in the back of an estate car and can only take 15 kg, plus my guitar as excess baggage - hmm.....

good morning guys. didn't realise it was your first go in a plane gem. i absolutely LOVE flying. i love watching the clouds and imagining shapes in them from the other side. you know when you think about what shapes you can see in the clouds (like jenn and her leaves ) i like doing it from above too they really do look like cotton wool, ha. i'm sure you'll have a fab time

as long as you check it in with the baggage desk it will be fine. if it's checked through specially it goes down in a lift rather than being chucked down a chute, ha. so if there's anything you feel might be fragile always go to the baggage checking people. i can't remember the name of the desk now, ha. but they'll tell you when you go and check in your guitar will be just fine

Took my lovely friend to the train station this morning before work, it's ashame she's goin i'll really miss her. but i'm off on my hols on monday so i can't complain. only upset really is having to leave the rabbit at my aunty's house and go, boohoohoo. he's my little buddy.

We went and saw mamma mia AGAIN last night! lol, guys, abba are class, they barely have a song that ISNT a classic. And i love laughing at Pierce Brosnan.

Had my hair done aswell yesterday, i've gone a shade darker with a brighter red over the top. and it's a lot shorter cos my hair always grows really fast in cyprus so i thought i'd go one step ahead.

Now... WI this morning showed up at 13st 13lbs, PHEEEW, but as usual i'll not be excited till tomorrow morning. it's taken me TWO WEEKS to lose those stupid couple of extra pounds. i tell you what, i've learnt my lesson lol. I'm surprised how good i've been while clare's been here. she bought loads of goodies, crisps, chocs etc.. and i only had a tiny amount of the choc. A few maltesers in the cinema last night. and then i thought i should stop so i ate my apple and shoved a chewing gum in my gob hahaha. i find that's quite a good way of stopping yourself. Ofcourse, you can easily take it out and have a pick at things but they taste gross thanks to the mint. muhahahaha i'm too clever.

Yes Elle, I have been playing the guitar and singing for over 30 years. I told you I'm an old hippy (haha) I'm a folkie - singer/songwriter. My guitar skills aren't wonderful but they serve the purpose. I will hopefully be playing with others (friends from Cornwall) in Ireland and they will support me too. It's great fun following the music and my mate and I are going on our own this time. We have a "girls on tour" week every year. OH staying at home with his cars.

I don't really like Abba but I would love to see Mama Mia. It looks great.

Oh ye of little faith. I knew you could get into the 13s - now stay there!!!!! x

Haha, excellent. My dad's pretty musically talented. he taught himself to play the greek version of the guitar, the bouzouki. he can also sing amazingly, and find harmonies on his own and stuff. i'm not as good as him but i did kick ass on singstar last weekend hahaha.

i think if you're looking for a good pop song with lyrics that actually mean something, then abba is the way forward. i think they were very talented lol. but each to their own. MAMMA MIA, HERE I GO AGAAAAIN, MY MY, HOW CAN I RESIST YA la la laaaaa.

Hey - some of my friends play bouzouki - it's got a good sound. I'm not knocking Abba - they're iconic. My husband and my mate are fans, just not really for me. Go girl with the singing and the downhill bob-sleigh through the 13s (haha Cool Runnings was a good film). I love to sing and play. I've said before that music really rocks my life - it is really important to me. x

Morning all...Well I would have been here sooner, but because of the storms lastnight something happened with the computers and I had to wait for OH to sort it out.

Elle...well done on getting back into the 13's. I am sure you'll be just fine for tomorrow. Well done. You've worked at it and it pays off!! As far as Abba is concerned, I like them enough...OH loves them, but personally, I would rather listen to something else. Like Gem though I think they are very iconic, but I could take them or leave them.

Gem, you'll be just fine. You enjoy your plane ride. It is a good laugh, make sure though you take some boiled sweets to suck on whilst you are going up and coming down to help your ears pop, with the pressure. You're little partner will be fine, but I would take a few extra strings if I were you. No matter what, you can mark fragile on it all you like, someone will still ping it just to spite you. You should film one of your gigs and let us see you play. Now that the cat is out of the bag, you could show us all now? Right? hahaha And have a drink or two for me!!
