good morning all. i'm shattered. woke up early, even though it's my day off and i can't get back to sleep again. hmph.

tried on some size 16s and they were nowhere near. couldn't even do up the button. but my 18s are massive and my small 18s are getting baggy... the 16s were bought at the same time and the same shop as the small 18s so i'm thinking i'm going to look at my measurements and some shop size guides to get an idea of how far i have to go in case they are BOTH small.

still no loo or totm. i think my body is just collecting things at the moment. great...

frijj, there's obviously something about winter lol... maybe our bodies are trying to keep us warmer by keeping the fat in place - stoopid bodies, they just don't know what they're doing sometimes:p

well abz, i'm still waiting for my body to shift some crap lol - don't think im totm any time soon though. it's ok, at some point both of our bits and bobs inside of us will realise that they need some space to manouvre and will send us straight to the toilet heehee.

last night i did about half an hour of greek dancing with my sister as she was trying to show me a new dance. a new incredibly fast jumpy dance. needless to say it got my pulse going which i hear is quite good! lol... didnt have time to weigh this morning so it's all riding on tomorrow. whatever happens i'm having my last skinny cow tonight guys and not buying any more until i've gone down at least 5lbs. this wont be limiting my treats gem, as i can still buy shaper's crisps from boots with my lunch. rather, i think i'm having too many in a week, as you said last night and as my sister pointed out to me aswell. although i prefer hearing it from you, as she is stick thin and eat tonnes of chocolate/crisps when she feels like it and remains pristeen. grrr. some people...

abz if you got your slacks from a place that have small size 14's then i bet my bottom dollar (such a random phrase, firstly, we use pounds here!lol) that the 16's will be small aswell. thus, i would go into another shop, try new look, and try on a pair of 16's there. you might be pleasantly surprised. how tall are you abz?

and i'm definately hormonal. i've never seen how to look good naked before and i just watched it on channel four catchup and it's made me cry!! ha. going to watch another one now. i'm a glutton for punishment!! hee.

Well the tests went well. I only had one extra stab as one vein didn't want to share it's load, so they had to re-stab. But other than that...it was all well. But when I came home since I hadn't eaten, I was shaking really badly and even struggled to close bags and get my avocado out of the skin. But I just ate a jacket spud again with a little bit of cheese, sour cream and bacon bits ( salad ones). About 4 small chuncks of chicken that was left over from our curry last night ( none curried of course) half and avocado, and a salad with carrots, mushrooms, spring onions, the rest of the avocado, a little cheese and some fat free dressing. It was nice....I was so starving...I tried to take my time, but I couldn't help it I just wanted to stop shaking. But after 10 minutes I was fine. *LOL*

Abz...I am sure you will find yourself a pair that fits soon.

lol abz how have you avoided how to look good naked for so long? and also, why on earth where you crying? haha. do you mean in the bit where they come out looking nicer and more confident? xx

It's been a great day in school. The atmosphere was good and there were no incidents. Because it was a good day, there was less to discuss at the end of it so we got away 20 mins early. :D

I'm still sticking to my "no treats" week and hoping for the best :eek: I've decided to have a piece of salmon for tonights dinner - with some salad I reckon :)

Elle - It is so hard to hear advice from a thin person about weight isn't it :sigh: I think you're mistaken about our bodies not knowing what they need - I think they often go "Duh" when we try to make them do things against their best interest - like lose weight when they are trying to adjust :D Be patient - it'll happen :) x

Oh and Elle - if you weigh in on a Friday shouldn't you be rockin' with the Friday Girls? :p

Jenn - It's not me, honest. Abz is the one with the mack :eek: Glad all is well with you :) x

Evening all, yes Gem I have finished now. I finished at 4pm and came straight home to have dinner and chill for a while before I have to go out again. I have got karate and kickboxing tonight

Yeah I get loads of rest. There is not much overtime available at the moment so I seem to be having a lot of time off!

Have I beaten Taz to it this morning? Well, I wanted to stay in bed til the last possible minute this morning but in the end the clock told me I would have to leave my cosy nest and get going.

The SPS (sticky pound syndrome) has made it STS this week so no moving tickers either way, which is not too bad. Seems like that illusive 2 stone is teasing me and making me work for it.

I hope all the other Friday girls have a better weigh in than me. Good luck :) x

sts is good gem :D that ticker will be moving this week. you'll make it to your goal in no time.

my scales actually went down today, much to my surprise. i've got a headache today and am wondering if i somehow went over my carb limit yesterday.... maybe there was something added to my chicken? i don't think so. it said it was just plain roast chicken. or, of course, it could just be tiredness. i was boiling all night and just couldn't sleep.

as for why how to look good naked chocked me up i just don't know. i think it was seeing how much these people truly hated themselves. all i could see when i looked at them was how beautiful they all were. and how they all had great bits. and then they'd start crying as they realised it and it set me off. like i said. hormonal, ha. but it was the thin woman that got to me most like i said. just shows that whatever your body size or shape, you can always be unhappy about it.

i watched lots of bones last night :D i do like it. but it was really odd because david boreanaz was in it, he must be nigh on 38-40 now and then i was watching buffy last night too and i think he was about 28 in that and all skinny and angular instead of a bit more chunky. ha. well. he's still totally hot either way :D

haha i never really got what people see in him. i can see he's good looking, i just dont..i dont know....it doesnt go further for me. guys, im back to 12st 12lb, i dont remember how much i was last week? was i the same? probably. thus sts, again. me too gem, this 2 stone barrier is messing with our brains. next week im going to try all in my power to calorie count x
 
ha. it took me forever to get through the 2 stone barrier. my body and brain just didn't seem to want to do it.

my weight actually started going down this morning, so that's good :) everyone at my house will be getting takeaway tonight so i'm going to have to prepare myself for that. i seem to be doing ss+ more than ss these days. not exactly what i planned but as long as it doesn't do any damage... we'll have to see.

we are playing the new guitar hero world tour game tonight, with all the instruments on the wii. can't wait :D worth a celebration or two i reckon :D

Evening all, yes you did beat me this morning. I was up early but didn't come on here. I had a day off but had to go into work to see the Bupa nurse and meet some friends then I had to go to physio. So I've had a busy day and tonight I am going to see some friends down the pub!

I've just been out to eat tonight. I had a Thai Prawn Curry (mack on Abz) and Ice Cream for pud. It was lovely and I don't thing it was TOO naughty either

I woke up at 5.25 this morning, to sweet music from the CD alarm :eek: Idiot me had forgotten to turn it off last night and I took a few minutes to realise that it was Saturday and I didn't have to get up.

I got up and switched off the music AND the alarm itself so that it doesn't happen tomorrow. Having got out of bed to switch off the alarm, I then needed the loo so I did that too. Then I went back to bed and slept until 8am :)

I bought some new clothes yesterday - it's becoming a necessary habit and, if I'm honest, I'm enjoying it immensely :D

I bought a brown skirt and a pair of brown trousers. The skirt is of soft suaded fabric, mid-calf length with curved panels and will look good with the size 18 winter jumpers - it's size 20 AND IT FITS. It's got a nice line and makes me look SO trim and I'm really chuffed. The trousers are size 20 too and will fit if I move the buttons slightly. A few more tummy exercises and a couple more pounds off should get those buttons back into the original place.

Well guys, this time next week we'll be in Brum. I'm really looking forward to it. I can't believe it's come round so quick :) Today, however I am going to do a few things around the house (I'm too knackered in the week after school), then there's the never ending shopping and at this time of year there's Christmas stuff too. Sometime this weekend I'm gonna try and get out and about a bit in the cold fresh air - perhaps somewhere woody where I can have a nice walk :) x
