OMG it's been quiet on this thread today. I've just posted today's food photo - veggie sausage casserole with mashed sweet potato and brocoli.

hello everyone. well, i got my dress AND IT FITS. so i danced around the house twice in my size 16 dress :D it is a wee bit tight on the boobs. but if i got a nice push up bra i think that would sort that out. but a couple more inches and it will look even better :D

Well it's Sunday morning and I've been up for an hour. OH was going out for a walk but before he reached the end of the road the heavens opened up and soaked him so he's back and having his second breakfast - toast and marmalade. I am going out to make my porridge in a mo.

Abz - You are up Iearly, are you working Sunday again? It's great news about the dress. You are doing so well.

I bought a nice litte short cardi type thing to put over my Christmas dress. It's got really subtle sparkles and little rouched sleeves - very pretty.

well guys i had a chinese last night :S oh dear. on the plus size, i tried on a cardy in H&m in my usual large and it was too big, needed a medium (which they didn't have). weight is still constant (even though i had chinese yesterday, i only had a bit of soup for lunch and i was very active in the evening so i'm hoping it hasnt made much difference)

anyway next week is my calorie counting week so we'll see how it all goes. Who exactly is coming to brum then? x

I'm definitely coming to Brum next week and I believe Abz is too. I've still to pin Taz down to see if she can get the day off but I hope she will.

I've just posted my latest food picture in the album. This one was new to me - I only got the recipe this afternoon but it was scrummy and VERY filling. The recipe was Stuffed Butternut Squash x
 
i've not been well this evening. suffering all week with my stupid toilet-less days lol and then today, lets just say it's been awful. had breakfast at around half 11 today and then ate dinner at 7 and then had some apple crumble and custard afterwards :s but still, it was cosy and im sat by the fire feeling warm, it's nice when you're feeling a bit, well, poo! lol. i feel like i need to be stricter but at the moment im not feeling up to it, i havent binged or anything, just had pudding. i am not a bad person, haha. tomorrow is the first day of calorie counting, well, trying to as much as possible. so wish me luck.

as far as brum goes, took my cousin who came up to see us from southampton uni, to the bullring and then german market yesterday. peeps you'd best be warned, it will be PACKED to the brim. if it turns out to be just us lot and we get bored we can prob just pile into my car and head somewhere. however i wouldnt wish it on anyone, its ridiculously small and only made for 4 lol. we'll just have to go with the flow xxx
 
That's cool Elle. We'll cope won't we. We can elbow our way through the crowds, catch a cuppa or two - just enjoy each others company. It'll be ok. Sorry you're feeling poo. Are you eating loads of veggies and fruit, enough fibre, drinking water? If the answer to any of these is "No" you might have your answer - otherwise it's probably just one of those thing. Evening all how was your weekend? I went out with a friend all day yesterday so didn't get chance to check in here. Been working today, a 9 hour shift and a troublesome one at that! Have a good week everyone!

yep gem i eat plenty of fruit, veg, fibre - water i tend to drink more in the form of green tea/camomile, that kind of thing.

we certainly will have fun! you've gotta try and come taz it would be great to see you! xxx

And now a lil bit about myself.
My name is Angelina, I'm a 22 yr old student from Nottingham and like u guys trying to loose weight from 145 lbs to 115lbs - I am 5.6 foot tall.
It's the first time I'm using forums and I hope it will help me to motivate this time as reading through all the successful stories it looks much easier in a group support:)
Went through many diets such as atkinson, cabbage soup diet, 1000kcal diet, starvation etc. And one thing I learned through all this hard time I had gaining all the weight back is that there is no miraculous easy meal plan that works for few weeks and keeps the results for permanent. Just determination, systematicity and patience, healthy eating plan and excercise that's it!:)
And hey I worked as a barmaid aswel!!:) It's those tipsy drinks u get from clients that make u crave after work lol I know it's hard to resist haha

Hi STB and :welcome: to minimins and especially to Big Boys. This is Tyns thread but we all seem to meet here and lose our marbles, put the world to rights etc. It's great and SO supportive :)

This was my first forum too and I had not a clue what to do. Now, I can't believe I'm checking in every day and have all these really supportive people to communicate with :)

Get yourself a weightloss ticker from ticker factory and update it on weigh-in day. You'll soon be up to speed.

There are tutorials on here and Pierce is helpful if you get into trouble with it ;)

Morning all, looks like I am the first today! I was supposed to be in work at 0627 this morning but I didn't finish til late yesterday so I am now in at 0647, which means someone else is doing the first part of my job and I do nothing but read my book til 0944! It's a hard life! Ha ha

I woke up this morning at 4am and went straight back to sleep. I then slept straight through the alarm and OH getting up so I'm starting in a heap this morning.

It's gonna be a long week this week with parents evening on Tuesday so that I will be VERY late home. It often feels that I don't really have evenings after a long day.

I'm going for a "no treats" week again this week so that by Friday I'm hoping for some falling numbers and moving tickers.

good morning everyone. i am coming to brum :D :D saying that, i should pick up my tickets from the machine before saturday as if i wait until half six on saturday morning (yes, that's what time i have to be at the station. see what i do for you?) something is going to go horribly wrong... ha. reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally excited about meeting you.

gem. that butternut squash looks amazing. i love the stuff too :D

well my lovely size 16 dress is hanging up and waiting for the first christmas do i need to go to in it. don't think it's that far away actually... it's the christmas do at my old work if i can wangle myself an invitation and i think they'll fall on the floor in shock when they see me in that after a couple of christmasses of me cramming myself into unforgiving dresses. well. dress. i only have one. ha. now i have two :)

i can't, cannot, brain will not, think of me as a size 16. it just doesn't compute. i mean. i'm still on the verge. i don't think size 16 trousers would quite fit me yet, but do you know what i mean? it's always been so very very far away...

Guys it must have been the chinese. I woke up with stomach cramps and i keep needing to head to the loo so im working from home today, which i feel awful about. but still, i'll try and get some decent work done.

Started the calorie counting week, CAN'T BELIEVE how little 30g is of cereal. I fancied cereal so i got it out - it gives you the amount of cals per 30g serving with semi skimmed milk, put everything on the scales to measure it and got a piddly amount in the bowl before it said 30g! so i did a bit of maths, figured out the cals in 50g and had that instead. otherwise it wouldn't have kept me going at all. that's ridiculous!

i shall keep check of things as im going in my diary because god knows i don't use that enough!

measurements wise, things are going in the right direction.. i now have a 31 in waist and the thing i use to measure it is a healthy bmi thing where the ticker is for men one side and women the other and is coloured green for healthy, orange for overweight and red for obese, and i'm JUST in the healthy range finally so that's made me happy.

gem do you know what time you'll be getting in to brum? x
 
hey elle. do you mean an online diary on here or a book at home? because if you have one on here i don't know about it!! ha.

well done on the waist measurement. i don't know whether mine is healthy or not but it's the smallest part of me at 31.5 inches so hopefully it's close!! ha.

i'm not surprised - your waist is really well defined!! lol, you have a great figure. me - i'm bigger on top. your figure is healthier than mine. i'm talking about my online minimins diary lol. i'll link you to it, although im not the most avid writer (on it), i always seem to just go directly here. even though this is poor tyn's diary and we've taken it over! lol.. x
