Big Boys Need Love Too!

Ah.... that could make all the difference you see x

:8855:Maybe all men do the diagonal thing. My OH does it too & it drives me mad!! :8855:

I heard you can buy some sort of bolster thing to put down the middle. I reckon it's probably like the body pillow I had when my back was really bad x

Bolster, where would the fun be in that, what about cuddles and stuff. Anyway, I sleep straight most of the time Colleen says.

Hi there everyone :)

I'm feeling quite positive today and determined to do something physical. The difference is that I have had a good nights sleep. It does make such a big difference :)

Where's the fairness in this weightloss lark. My mate (on WW) has been telling me all week that she's gonna put on this week. She lost half a pound over Christmas and since she got back to school has been pigging out on left over mince pies, biscuits, choc etc. She was with me when I had my McFlurry last week and lost 1.5 and THIS week she's lost 0.5. She only loses small amounts BUT SHE IS LOSING CONSISTANTLY - talk about the hare and the tortoise!!!!

Jim - So you're not a diagonal sleeper after all - Well done Jim, that must be a great relief to Colleen.

Yea cuddles and "stuff" would be a challenge with a bolster in the middle wouldn't it :giggle:When I had my huge back problem I had to put my leg on something while I slept so I bought a body pillow but as I woke up about 6 times a night needing to turn (a very painful process) I had the added problem of moving the pillow over too. It was quite a job but guess what - OH slept through the whole thing EVERY night  How?

I hope your smoke free thing is going well and becoming easier :) x

Jools - So it's not ALL men with the diagonal thing then - we'll have to think of a new theory :) x

Taz - I hope your day was good yesterday - you certainly sounded buzzed last night in your post. What are you up to today? :) x

Abz - Have you come down to earth yet? :) x

Have a lovely day everyone x

Hi all! I'm back! I blame the fact that all you ladies sleep next to someone at night haha. I sleep in my own bed, I can move around, cough, splutter, SNORE even (not that I do I don't think) and not bother anyone. And...have an excellent night's sleep. I generally sleep within minutes of hitting the pillow and shutting my eyes :D Plus I'm always tired when going to bed, if I don't feel tired I dont try and force myself.

Hope you have a successful time at the physio Taz!

x

Morning Taz and elle,

do you work shifts taz?

Is the phsio helping? I found NHS physio didn't really cut it for my problem. It was only when the local clinic started depleting my bank balance that I really saw some positive permanent change. It was VERY expensive and I couldn't really afford it but it was SO worth it x

Yes I do Jim.

Thanks Elle, I haven't had any trouble with my knee's since I've been resting so I think it will be a very quick visit!

Not really but physio, however cheap or expensive, wouldn't do much for my knees!

I had a lot of Physio over the years due to playing Rugby, I was never convinced it did much for me.

Your're so totally right Elle. Jim's link yesterday said that research bears out that men in male/female relationships actually benefit from sleeping with their female partner and get more sleep where the women get less sleep and suffer for it. No surprises there then.

When my mate and I go on holiday together we don't share a room so I have a whole room to myself. I sleep like a log and come home refreshed (even though I drink guinness and burn the midnight oil) so I reckon that should tell me something :)

Hey Elle,

Sorry it took so long to get back but i still am not getting emails to say anyone has posted and I plum forget sometimes.

LU is doing great, scareing me every day with his cleverness and sweetness. Baby is great...he's just kicking away. Always seems to start when I want to sleep, but I am getting used to it. I have a 4D scan on the 11th of feb in london, which will be great. Then I have another scan 2 days later at the hospital which of course will be uber fun as I have to go a glucose tolerace tests so I am at the hospital at 8:45am for 2 .5 hours then I have a scan and then hang around again for the consultant. And finally I have 2 more scans 4 weeks apart from that...so begining of march and again beginning of april where we then decide if I am going to have a section or natual birth. But he growing like a weed, we have been putting the remote on my tummy when he is kicking and you can see if quite clearly how hard and much he kicks. And I am feeling great. I can still do loads and move fairly well. Just trying to get things organised.

Hi there folks. Jenn, My daughter is due TOMORROW and she is having twinges tonight so waiting for the call to arms so to speak!!!!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH YAY YAY YAY!! Good luck to your daughter Gem!! x

Thanks Elle but don't hold your breath - we've been here before - remember?

oh yes, that's true... well, at least she didn't give birth all those weeks ago..

Ahhh babies all round! Should be getting my new nephew soon. Not that I need a new one, I'm not bored of playing with the other 2 yet! I spoke to the 3 year old earlier, can't understand a word he says but it makes him happy!
