Do Abz - you're a bright butterfly and make us laugh often - that's a gift x

Jim or Abz - HELP!!!!! :character00148:

I'm looking for a way to move Outlook Express from one user to another on the same computer. I only started the second user after I had OE up and running but it is and the other is the one I let others log onto. OE would be better in the more private user.

I'd be VERY grateful if you could help :worthy:

It's a long time since I used express Gem, I think the data files are called inbox.dat etc...

And in win '99 they used to be stored deep down in the user profile, not sure where they'd be now to be honest.

i don't have it on my home machine gem so i only know where we store them and that's on servers and totally different to at home... so i'm afraid i'm not sure...

if you go into your settings control panel, and then to the 'Mail' option and have a bit of a play about in there you should be able to work it out? that lets you change the user accounts that you have or the data files that outlook saves the messages onto and you can set up multiple profiles on email accounts from there too, so i think that's your best bet?

without sitting and having a mess i'm afraid i can't be much more help than that as i don't have it on my machine at home...

Morning all! Where has everyone been this weekend? Another Monday morning, another week. I have a lazy morning this morning then a very busy afternoon and evening. Have a good Monday everyone x

Good morning everyone :)

Hey - Speedy Taz - You beat me to it this morning.

Great weekend but a busy Monday coming up - loads of small loose ends to tie up.

I've had two meals out, one McDonalds, half a box of ferrero rocher, Guinness, wine and numerous other naughty stuff this weekend and have hit Monday morning up and running with only one extra squatter which should be gone by tomorrow :)

I have to have a good week this week cos I want to reduce those Christmas squatters by Friday. Watch this space and see if I can manage it :p

Loads of fresh air at the weekend producing the feel good factor and plenty of exercise with loads of walking on Saturday, including hundreds of steps (!) and a shorter walk yesterday in the forest.

Have a lovely Monday everyone - whatever you're up to x :)

Good Morning, ate way too much yesterday, still my Mum loved having all the family together.

Good morning Jim

I think it was a bit of an eating/drinkin fes for most people this weekend

Mothers day is probably the only day in the year we get the whole family together Gem, 16 of us at the pub yesterday lunchtime. The oldest is my Mum at 83 and the Youngest is my little great niece Eva at 4.

That's lovely Jim. This is the first year we haven't had any of the olds with us for the meal - but we did go to see OH's Mum yesterday before we went - she's 89 (90 in September)

I was thinking yesterday that every occasion like this might be Mum's last Gem, I mean she's fit and active still but at that age you never can tell can you.

Yes, I know just what you mean Jim. We lost Dad in 2005, then Mum last year - Mum-in-Law has had some health problems due to strokes but the last year (except for some mobility and associated problems) she has had a good year. She just doesn't want to come out any more so we have to respect that. The last time she came out with us was last mothers day.

Exactly Gem. Still yesterday was lovely, she was so happy Gem.

good morning everyone.

bon came to visit this weekend and we sorted bridesmaid dresses, hair bits, shoes (after going into more shoe shops that i think i've EVER been in. who can WALK in things like that. they were all about 8 inches high!!) menus and have picked out some table decorations too. still haven't bought those as of yet. so it was quite a good weekend. we were pretty good food wise. not sterling but not particularly bad.

i have gained 0.75lbs this week, but i think most of that is water retention so i'm going to work at that this week.
