Big Boys Need Love Too!

Babies Babies Babies! I want a baby aswell! Have no idea why! lol. I think i am slowly turning into a woman lol.

MY sister made me laugh earlier on when we was driving into town. She asked who the hell was going to make Xmas dinner now! lol. I have no idea, we can all cook basic stuff, but i don't think any of us have roasted anything other than chips before! lol

This i can't wait to see! lol. I just keep seeing the kitchen with floor exploded over it, no idea why we would be using floor to make xmas dinner, but meh! lol

I am still do jealous of you doing CD Jenn and Abz, roll on September so i can start, then we can all get drunk and have babies together!

.. yea that sounds wrong but you know what i mean!! lol Just crashed out on mum and dads bed at the mo, watching bad TV, wish i had Sky in my room! then i could chat and watch lol. Boo. No idea why i am so hyper.. must be the dinner we just had. Can't belive its friday already, almost a week has passed, where did it go?! lol.

Think me and my sister are going doing late night shopping at asda tonight, prolly tomorrow tho as my sister seems to be in a lazy mood today.

Annnnyway! mwah :)

ok guys just a quick check in before bed as im going to drayton manor park tomorrow (yay). i've eaten my weight in bread today :S i've been absolutely shattered for most of the day and my sis says that may be why, plus ive never craved bread before lol. oh boy oh boy. its ok though, i have a week till next weigh in, and i certainly wont be tempted to get on the scales tomorrow!

tyn, late night shopping is, to use an excellent 90's expression, DA BOMB! haha. :)

Hi everyone :character00238: the sun has got his hat on down south this morning but the forecast says it's not gonna last.
Elle - Enjoy Drayton Manor (envy envy)
Jenn - I hope you have settled down and are feeling a little better this morning.
Tyn and Abz - Have a good day today too.
I think I'm off to the countryside dodging showers today - probably end up in the pub but better not be TOO naughty cos there's a weigh in looming large (I hope not) on Monday. Bye folks, have fun :)

please tell me you haven't all abandoned me when i'm stuck at work for the next 10 hours? somebody is going to be here aren't they?

jenn, am glad you aren't exploding a few times a day now.

tyn, i made my first ever christmas dinner all by myself last year. even turkeys have cooking instructions on them these days. you'll manage, ha. and to be honest making a mess is part of the fun. so if you find a reason for flour, chuck it all over :D i also made my first ever christmas cake last year and it was damn fine :D so i'm going to do it again this year. christmas cake and wensleydale cheese :D was there ever a greater combination!! you southerners probably think i'm weird now, ha. but it's beautiful :D
ooh, christmas. i want to be at goal by then. i want to look sexy and slim rather than frumpy and fat on christmas day. i haven't felt great about how i look on christmas day for years and years... i can't remember actually...

abz xx

Hi abz. Yea, you're wierd up there but we're wierd down here too. I wanna be at goal 2 by Christmas but we'll see if I meet my deadline for goal 1 first ;) Christmas dinner Tyn is a piece of p***. Just work out the time for the turkey (fully thawed if it's a frozen one and well washed out and dried with kitchen paper) 20 mins per lb plus 30 mins over all. Big thing with turkey is keeping all surfaces clean because of contamination from juices. Keep the detox and kitchen paper handy. Make sure you remember to get the turkey foil and calculate the weight of the stuffing in the cooking time. That's about it really. Set your alarm to put in the pud to boil, otherwise just nuke it in the micro. Then set alarm in time for veggies and sit back with a can or a glass of wine, put on a paper hat and watch tv.

Anyhow don't think you'll get away without advice from all of us nearer to the time. We'll give you blow by blow if you like. I've also got a wicked nut roast recipe if you want a veggie option.

You'll be fine x :)

i had a practice run with my mum and she insisted on opening presents when it was just about ready so it was all keeping warm and i ended up really miffed because it dried out. that's when i learnt authority over my mother in my own house and she hasn't dared cross me since :D although it did mean that on christmas day with a few of my friends (thomas's folks live in denmark, one of my friends has lost both his parents, and another friend, her family doesn't really 'do' christmas so organised something else) i put my foot down, everyone sat down at the right time and it was amaaaaazing :D

abz xx

There's plenty of time for presents between turkey cooking and veggie cooking - or even afterwards. If you've got kids, they've probably opened them at 5am anyway so that's ok HOHOHO!

I wanna be at, or really close to, goal weight for xmas aswell! It will be funny seeing the shock when i come home for xmas and they don't notice me lol. It will be like, Yea i am sexeh biatch! hehehe.

Woke up with a horrible headache today. Silly headacheness. Gonna have another day of crashing out watching TV i think. Sky is rather addictive. lol.

I doubt this years xmas we will be left alone. My nan (dads mum) Will prolly kidnap us lol. Or dad will buy the food ready made. lol

ha. sounds like a plan tyn.

well i have just rung up my two fave rooms for our wedding night. we do have to book for two nights, two night minimum stay if you are staying a saturday. they are both available and two of my aunties are giving us a £100 each so that almost pays for the second night so that's good. you pay on departure too so i don't need to worry about having the money right now. just then, ha. i am going to see them both on monday in york. now i just need to ring a few others. while i'm in york i may as well check out a few :) i feel like i'm actually organising things, which is good. i need to ring some caterers on monday too to sort that out or we're not going to be able to eat as you can't provide your own at this venue and there are only five caterers allowed to supply food for it so god knows what you do if they are all booked up, ha.

how is everyone doing today?

abz xx

Well done abz. Your getting on with the planning well.
Hiya Tyn. You sound a little more settled today. Get over the baby thing though - they's VERY hard work. Plenty of time for that - after all guys don't have to worry about body clocks ticking away do they! Enjoy being young, get a career under your belt and a man to love and to love you THEN think about family stuff. You can't get your youth back, trust me, I'm STILL trying x

Gotta go now guys - off out this after for some Music in my ears - Rock on Guys (I'll try not to drink or eat anything I shouldn't) x

ha. gem. you seem youthful enough for me :D

i'm wanting to have kids but not until after i'm married in a year's time, ha. so will give it a shot after that.

i am glad someone is around. i'm so lonely. i have the telly on for company!! i'm at the opposite end of the office to the rest of the staff and it's L-shaped so i can't even see them. all i can see is about 20 metres of empty office. it isn't sunny outside any more though, so that makes me feel slightly better, ha. still. it would be nice if it wouldn't rain and that's what it looks like it's going to do...

thomas is at home washing loads of clothes, woo. i feel like we've been living in a mound of dirty washing. since our washing basket broke we have been very bad at estimating when we need to do it... much to our detriment. he's chatting to some of his danish mates online which is good too as he misses them and doesn't get to talk to them all that often.

i'm off to see hancock tonight. am looking forward to that. i finish work and go straight to the cinema. awesome, ha. and i have a chocolate tetra thing in the freezer. it makes amazing ice cream so i won't feel left out of the goodies at least :)

i'm only on about half a litre of water so far today. it's cold in the office and it's so much harder to drink...

Hey hey there all.

Abz..I will be around but on a mission today. More cooking. I am making hot wings for OH for his tea, sweet potato fries as well. Pasta and octopus ( just a weiner cut to look like a octopus- not a real one), Strawberry/banana nut muffins, banana and walnut muffins, pitta crisps, fresh hummus, and grilled corgette pizza. So lets see what happens.

I feel better today...not perfect but better. I am not hungry now so it isn't too bad. But I think the pic of me at my goal weight is helping ( plus my MIL after what she said is in my head) so that spurs me on. And of courses the baby thing.

You know I whilst I would have like to have had one sooner, but I am glad he came when he did, because it was at the right time. We got a chance to enjoy our married life and be a selfish couple and do what we liked and cement a strong foundation in which to bring up a child. I think if we had had one sooner, we would still be in manchester, living by the skin of our teeth in the old council flat!!! So it was perfect timing. And now LU is asking for a sister. Whilst I can't control it...I am looking forward to all the TRYING...hehehehe

Tyn, Sure any time babes...but I won't be at my goal until march...and then maybe next summer we can all meet at alton towers as I will be where I need to be and I think I am the one who needs to lose the most.

And as far as christmas dinner, I only like dark meat ..hehehe...so we don't have turkey...we have a beef joint which my OH grills outside and we have a gammon joint. Plus he makes the normal trimming....and I make a broccoli cassarole , which is devine. So if you ever need or want a recipe to try just give me a shout as I am cook all the time. And I would like to think I am quite good, or at least no one turns their noses up and all of my stuff gets eaten....

you can bet you cook all the time!! i wouldn't be able to cope with making that amount of lovely food and not being able to eat it!! ha. although i did surprise myself last time i had to cook for OH when he came home after a stag night, but he's still living on sandwiches and cereal when he's at home near enough. the odd quorn burger but he just doesn't want to cook for one!! but he eats plenty of fruit and things when at work so i just let him be... :D

things are still very slow here. i'm so boooooooooooored. am chavganging it at the mo :)

abz xx

I am moving in with Jenn, its official! lol. All that food you mentioned sounds sooo ooooo ooooo oooooooooo good! lol. I just had chicken on toast, because my sister got my garlic and onion bagels not the plain ones. Shame on her! lol.

Yea, next summer i vote we do something REALLY special, a day in Alton Towers, and/or a big night out lol. Get really drunk and be amazing! lol

i'm up for that. i'll be wanting to shake my skinny ass on the dance floor by then. as will you tyn!! and you gem, and elle, and jen.. all of us. that's a lot of ass shaking!! hee.

abz xx

well guys. finally only another hour until my torturous ten hour stint is over... until tomorrow *sigh*. i hope you've all been ok today.

abz xx

hahah...well you are all more than welcome. It all came out well except LU wasn't too keen on the strawberry muffins, so my neighbour was more than happy to take them off my hands. They love me to cook as the stuff never last long in their house. *LOL*

You know if you all could make it to my direction, we could have a big party and BBQ next summer at my house. I have a spare bed room, plus a big blowup bed. And my neighbours are also a B&B and I am sure I could get some kind of deal if needs be. There are several pubs in my villiage all within staggering distance, the beach is only 10 minutes up the street, and the train station is in town so if you don't drive the train could be the answer. I have a 7 seater van to get around in, and we could hire a adult use bouncy castle and have a laugh and such. But it is only a suggestion. May be alton towers would be a better idea!! *LOL*

well tyn, that is better than me I had a strawberry shake. My CDC was meant be dropping off some of my stuff as she didn't have enough to cover my full 21 meals....and she didn't show up. She had better get her finger out or I will be forced to find another one.

Tyn, you know you could make yourself some nice food that isn't too fatty that doesn't require cooking and start to learn a bit more about foods and be able to learn to cook too.

Abz...I think the reason I am able to cook and not eat is only because I love it so much. I get really disaapointed if isn't perfect in my eyes. It is just a little hard as I can't even taste any of it too see if it is ok. SO I have to get my OH to try it first. But I am hoping that maybe the next time I make the fish pie I will be able to eat it.

And man my finger (wedding finger) is so infected at the minute. I pulled at the little tiny sliver of naily skin at the side of my finger a few days ago and pulled most of it off and now my finger is pink with special stuff coming out of it. ( bet your not hungry now eh!=-)) Nah it only comes out if I push on it really really hard. the savlon will fix it I should have known better.
