BinkyBonk needs to lose weight...

I walked to the other butchers today, I made a big batch of chilli with the mince and it was tasty but I don't think the beef was as nice as the other butchers and it cost £7 for the chicken breast and mince, there was only one chicken breast which means it is £1 more and less meat plus not as tasty so think we will stick to the other butcher :)

Tuesday 10th Feb-

B- cup of tea (1syn)
L- rice, chicken stock, peas, sweetcorn and egg D- chilli- mince, onion, mixed beans, passata, chopped tomatoes with cheese HeA
Snack- Aldi mini magnum and dream bar (10Syn) and a cup of tea

Total- 12 Syns, HeA, 5 of five a day

Think I am going to make some HeB biscuits now to have with my cup of tea as I have not had a HeB yet :)

We usually stay in the comfort plus woodland lodge 3 bed accommodation as it is cheap but has everything you need, they have a double room and two twin rooms (there are six of us).

This time as we have booked later we are staying in the executive lodge 3 bed as there are no woodlands left, this one has two doubles and a twin, it also has wifi and maid service :)

In all honesty we have always stayed in the cheapest one and would normally do that as it had everything you need, we always go either March or October as they are the cheapest :)

If you put the location, date and number of people in the booking bit, it comes up with the price options, click on the left on the name of the accommodation and it will show you the pictures :)

For the biscuits I add 35g porridge oats to one beaten egg, 4 tablespoons of sweetener and 1 teaspoon of almond or vanilla essence, mix well, spoon into a plastic biscuit cutter and bake for 10 -15 minutes x

I have a stupid cold so can't visit mom tomorrow again which makes me sad but I will probably tackle the garden to take out my stress lol :) my sister booked it so we are officially going to centre parcs in March, I am very excitedddd x

It is awful isn't it :(

Aww bless her that is horrible, how do you rest and not worry x

They get ill in nursery environments as it is warm, and there are so many children poorly they take it in turns to pass colds which then do the rounds, plus in babies they put everything in there mouths so one child with a cold does this and passes it on to the others, school should be better but the oldest I look after keeps getting ill and then I get it three weeks in a row now, driving me crazy and I have been washing my hands so much that they are really dry :(

Thinking I need to order a hazmat suit for work :/

So I had a day of feeling frustrated today, I was upset to be in bed instead of washing and hoovering the car and doing the next bit of the garden hedge, I looked for jobs and got so upset that I can't apply for anything, I fell asleep and felt awful when I woke up so decided to take some paracetamol and felt better, I was nagging a bit at the bf which then made me feel worse :(

So I got up and changed the bed so the bf can sleep in it tonight without catching my germs, I used anti-bac wipes all over the furniture in the bathroom, I cleaned the bathroom and used anti-bac wipes in there too, I put all the washing away and have put two loads on and out, I cleaned all the lounge and set up my 'bed' on there for tonight, I have used anti-bac wipes on the kitchen and put tomorrow's dinner (chicken and chopped root veg) in the oven so I don't have to worry about it tomorrow :) I have had a lovely shower which has made me feel more me and am now sat on the sofa exhausted x x

Wednesday 11th Feb-

B- squash and fanta zero
L- chicken, salami, cheese and cucumber
Snack- popcorn, Milky Way
D- pesto pasta and cheese
Snack- 2X mini magnum and a small bar of dairy milk

Overall I don't feel too bad about my food today, the bf bought a bar of chocolate home for me as sometimes you just need chocolate, the mini magnums are very soothing to my throat :)

Morning peeps,

Still feeling poorly which is annoying :(

I need to walk to town today, need to pop to the post office and then the butchers. It is the bf's sisters birthday tomorrow but I am on a 14 hour shift so I am going to cook a big lasagne today so the bf will put it in the oven when I walk home tomorrow and I will get a couple of bags of chip shop chips on the way, I normally cook everything myself but think I will be too tired to cook chips from fresh tomorrow x

I just need to convince myself to get off the sofa now lol x

I have just made bacon, fried egg and baked beans for breakfast, hope this will give me some energy :)

My last load of washing is on now, so just sat watching friends before i get ready, I think I might take some more paracetamol as that helped last night :)

Sorry to hear you still ill hun. But Im surprised how much you still do being ill and all. When Im ill I just lie down ( unless I need to work) and just try to sleep as much as possible. You other hand cleaning , cooking and many other stuff. You must be very strong and full of willpower. Well done.
Hows you days been plan wise ? Im sure lasagne will be superb. I havent dont sw lasagne for ages. Maybe I should do one day.
Get well soon and have a great day :)

I should probably just relax and lie down but i get so restless i can't do it lol x

The bf says i am very determined, i hope it is a good thing lol x

I am going to use butchers mince, onions, chopped tomatoes and peppers with passata instead of a ragu jar but will be using a cheese sauce jar (hoping it will not be too bad syns wise), Lasagne is one of my favorite meals =)

Thank you my lovely i am hoping to feel better as i have to be up at 5.15am tomorrow x

I hope you have a lovely day too x

So peeps i have been looking back at the beginning of my diary and am a bit sad how well i was doing with my exercise and diet compared to now (even though i am smaller now).

I have looked at the calendar and I have eighteen days until we go to centre parcs, I am literally so excited but would love to be nearer 10st 7lbs =)

So my personal challenge is to lose 3.5lbs in 18 days, i think i can do this peeps, I am going to carry on using my pedometer and aim for 10,000 steps a day and i will be trying to do a Leslie walk in the evenings, as well as sticking to SW each day =)

Let's do this my lovelies x x x

Hey Binky, I found you!

I get all my meat from a butchers now as we get a family/friends discount. I have noticed a difference in taste and saves pennies!

I know how you feel about not being able to apply for certain jobs as it requires a car driver :( it's so frustrating. I used to be a nanny a couple of years ago and found it a very rewarding role. Would you consider nannying still if you could get full time hours?x

Welcome to my thread *waves*

I have been to the butchers again today and am probably going to start buying more from them as it is very tasty and cheaper than Tesco =)

It is so frustrating, I have been learning a really long time and i can drive whenever me and the bf want to go anywhere but in my actual lessons i seem to panic a bit and not be very confident =( When i do get my license the plan is to apply to be an outreach worker with Children's centre to provide action plans for families at risk and monitor safeguarding but i cannot do that without a license, I am at the point where i have to decide whether to stay part time (15hours ish a week) or to look for full time nanny or other work to do until i get my license and i do not know what to do, it is a horrible situation, but yes i would work as a nanny for a while longer as i have for a few families and do enjoy it, just not what i want to do forever if that makes sense x

What job have you just been offered and accepted? is it full time? x

I am pleased to say i am sat down after a very tiring afternoon, I walked to town and went to the post office, i went to the butchers and bought 500g of lean beef mince, i had to pop to Tesco for a few bits and poundland to get some balsam tissues for my sniffles and some halls soothers and mints to suck on then carried everything home, literally just doing that was so tiring =(

I have used the mince and made a big lasagne for tomorrow and dried up while the bf washed up (he was not impressed), we are now sat watching the news and relaxing for a bit, i am very much looking forward to the eat well for less programme to be on tonight, i really enjoy seeing what other people do and am trying to save money =)
