Blergh! - FatFairNForty(ish) - my diary

just got home from weigh in (via collecting Zoe and nipping into pub to see Landlady...)

This week, I am over the moon to report that I lost another...

 5.9lbs!!!   :bliss:

I now weigh 14stone 8.4lbs and both Ailsa and I were grinning like a pair of cheshire cats! lol Can't quite believe it to be honest.. but then, Ailsa has warned me it will take a loooooooooong time to get my head 'round it all AND went on to point at that within a couple of weeks I will probably have lost 9 stone! It's mad!!

:wow: Another 5.9 lbs gone, you are just disappearing in front of our very eyes :D

That's absolutely brilliant Jennie - well done, you deserve it, you work so hard at it and like you say it won't be very long at all when you'll be reporting that you've lost a gob-smacking 9 stone

WOW. Well done mate, you've done so well. Here's to 9 stone off, bring it on!

Hi Jennie,

Hi Tracie - thanks for the kind words. I have soup, shakes and bars.. don't have many bars to be honest, maybe 2 in any one week, but it depends on what I'm doing and where I'll be. I tend to have 2 soups and a sweet pack made into a muffin, each day. But you know, it's not really anything specific I don't think. It's just this diet. It's so low-cal that you can't fail to lose on it. I also drink Asda sugar-free appleade, and Perfectly clear strawberry/kiwi and the red apple one too. But I know that they can impede some people. It's really a matter of seeing what works best for you hon and for me, just sticking to the damn thing as best I can seems to be doing the trick.

I love the tomato soup at the moment so have that and choc mint muffin with psyllium husks and some days I have the fibre 89 too (helps to keep me 'un-bunged' so to speak ;) ) lol

Well done on getting started and hope you have a smooth journey! :)

Sorry Jen, not been around on many threads, think everybodies a bit quieter these days,,,congrats on your loss, fantastic news..:D
no worries - not had chance to call in on your mad world either of late!!! will try to do better! ;) not long now 'til dubbers!! :D :D :D

Sleep tight.

Not been around minimins much for a while, but it's good to catch up with you. You're doing absolutely, absolutely fabulous!! Well done on all those size 16 clothes and the impending weigh in which will herald the fourteens. The job 1/job 2 thing sounds stressful though, I hope you get to have a rest soon. Though I think if you did have more rest you wouldn't know what to do with yourself!

Smooth journey ohhh not sure about that Jennie  i get terrible mood swings when i SS:mad:

I have the fibre 89 but that has never worked for me :sigh:

Thanks for answering my question as being such a slow loser on CD gets annoying as i know i could lose the same weight on WW or SW but way tooo much food for me on those diets i wouldnt know when to stop :jelous: I might cut out the bars as i used to have one every night when i did CD before.

Thanks again. And once again well done you!

you know what, I am going to bawl for Britain when I get into the 13's as I weighed about 13 and a half stone when I left school! (going to dig out some photos over the weekend and see what I used to look like! Can't remember having the shape I have now though! although Ailsa told me last night that as I have always (and I mean always) been obese, I cannot know what shape I will be at goal as I've never seen it before... lol.. how mad is that!!! 43 years old and not a clue about my body shape!! (if mum is anything to go by I'll be all hips and thighs!! blah!!! lol)

Simply cannot get my head round getting close to the 9 stone thing either.. all a tad surreal.. know what I mean? Sorry... very reflective this am, must get on... got some mental 'cleaning head' on at the moment, already vacc'd the office and going through my filing like a dose of salts!!!

I think there's something extra slipped into me packs as I can't seem to sit still for too long these days! Perhaps another sunshiny Sunday will slow me down again ( I adore sunbathing, lol, so lush and decadent!!)

Hi Kaz, hey tsunamis were a way of life for me for flippin 40 odd years! still - silver lining - it saved having to rinse the bath as the tidal wave caught all the soap!! ;)

You'll do fine, I'm sure. Glad you enjoying the diary (how brave to even start ploughing through it!!!!!) This diet is acey pacey (for the most part), but as I said to Tracie.. the folks on here will get you (and me) through every damn day come rain or shine, happiness or misery! Use this site as much as you need to, it's been a lifeline for me at times and I have made some amazing friends too! Am sure it will be the same for you too :) I would recommend you get along to a meet if you can, it really helped me to talk with others going through the same as me, and those who are at goal are a massive inspiration!! :)
